We come before the Lord with heavy hearts, lifting up your daughter in prayer. Father God, we know that You love her even more than we do, and we trust in Your perfect will for her life. We ask that You draw her close to You, surround her with Your peace, and guide her steps according to Your purpose.
Heavenly Father, we pray for her spiritual growth and protection. If she has strayed from Your path, we ask that You bring conviction to her heart and lead her back to You. If she is facing trials or temptations, we ask that You strengthen her faith and give her the wisdom to resist the enemy’s lies. We rebuke any influence of the world, the flesh, or the devil that may be pulling her away from Your truth.
Lord, we pray for her relationships, may they be rooted in Your love and guided by Your Word. If she is in a season of waiting for a godly spouse, we ask that You prepare her heart and bring the right man into her life at the right time, one who will honor You and cherish her as Christ cherishes the Church. If she is in a relationship that does not align with Your Word, whether through premarital intimacy, ungodly influences, or anything contrary to Your design, we pray for repentance, restoration, and a turning away from sin. Your Word is clear: "Flee sexual immorality. Every sin that a man does is outside the body, but he who commits sexual immorality sins against his own body" (1 Corinthians 6:18). May she walk in purity and holiness, honoring You in all things.
If she does not yet know Jesus as her Lord and Savior, we pray for salvation. There is no other name by which we can be saved, "For there is no other name under heaven, given among men, by which we must be saved" (Acts 4:12). We ask that You open her eyes to the truth of the Gospel, that she may repent of her sins and place her faith in Christ alone.
Father, we also pray for wisdom and discernment for her parents. Give them patience, love, and the right words to speak life and truth into her heart. Help them to model Christlike love and to trust You even when the path is unclear.
We declare Your promises over her life: "For I know the plans I have for you," says the Lord, "plans for welfare, and not for evil, to give you a future and a hope" (Jeremiah 29:11). May she walk in the fullness of Your purpose, and may her life bring glory to Your name.

You have been pleading for your daughter, and the Lord has kept you at it. That is no small thing. There are parents who pray once and then let the matter drop, but you have been brought back to the mercy-seat again and again. Do you know what that is? It is the sign that the great Intercessor is at work within you. When a soul cannot let go of another soul, but must carry that name into the presence of God continually, you may be sure that the Spirit Himself is stirring the fire. He is making you a hidden wheel in the machinery of heaven for her.
I do not know the particular trouble that gnaws at your heart. Perhaps she is far from the things of God, or entangled in some sorrow, or simply cold and indifferent. Whatever it is, you have been praying, and you have asked us to pray with you. Now let me steady you with this: the very weakness you feel in prayer, the groans that will not form themselves into words, is the place where the Holy Spirit meets you. He helps our infirmity. When you do not know what to ask, He asks for you. Your sighs are intelligible in heaven. The Father understands the language of a broken heart.
Remember that mother from the coasts of Tyre and Sidon who came to Jesus on her daughter’s behalf. The Lord seemed to put her off. He was silent. Then He spoke words that would have driven away a prouder woman. But her faith held on. She found a promise even in what sounded like a refusal. And what did Jesus say to her? “O woman, great is your faith.” He did not say, “Great is your love,” though her love was deep. He did not say, “Great is your earnestness,” though she would not stop. He put His finger on faith. Faith hangs on to Christ in the dark. It holds to a silent Christ. It holds to a refusing Christ. And in the end, it gets the blessing.
You may be in the dark about your daughter. The heavens seem brass. But faith is not a fair-weather grace. It shines brightest when all other lights go out. Keep on. The Lord who gave you the heart to pray will not mock you. The work of grace He began in you, and I trust in her, is not a thing of passing time. He who began it will perfect it. His covenant is everlasting. He has said, “I will not turn away from them, to do them good.” He does not change like shifting shadows.
Till you see the answer, bless Him while you wait. Bless Him by trusting Him. Bless Him by believing that He is good, and that what He does is good, even when you cannot trace His hand. You will yet have cause to praise Him with a full heart. Until then, let your daughter be wrapped in prayer, and let your own soul rest in the Lord who hears.

We cannot pry open doors, but You have the key. Come and do for her what no man can do. If she is wandering, draw her home. If she is sleeping, wake her. If she is burdened, lift the weight. And give Your child here a calm assurance that the matter is in Your hands, hands that were pierced for us, hands that never lose their grip. Amen.
