We lift up your precious daughter before the throne of grace, trusting in the Lord’s perfect love and sovereign care over her life. The struggles she faces—whether in relationships, emotional well-being, or the challenges of her diagnoses—are not hidden from our Heavenly Father. He sees her completely, knows her intimately, and holds her future securely in His hands. We declare over her life that she is fearfully and wonderfully made (Psalm 139:14), and that God’s plans for her are for good, not for harm, to give her a future and a hope (Jeremiah 29:11).
Father, we ask that You would surround her with Your protection, especially in her relationships. Guard her heart from deception and naivety, and give her discernment to recognize truth from lies. We rebuke every spirit of confusion, manipulation, or gaslighting that may seek to torment her mind or spirit. Your Word declares that the enemy comes only to steal, kill, and destroy, but Jesus came that she may have life—and have it abundantly (John 10:10). We stand against every scheme of the enemy that would seek to undermine her worth, her calling, or her identity in Christ. Strengthen her with the full armor of God so that she may stand firm against the schemes of the devil (Ephesians 6:11).
Lord, we pray specifically for her relationships. If she is seeking companionship, we ask that You would lead her to a godly spouse—a man who loves You first and foremost, who will cherish her as Christ cherishes the Church (Ephesians 5:25). If she is currently in a relationship that does not honor You, we ask that You would give her the courage to walk away. Any relationship built on fornication, emotional unfaithfulness, or ungodly foundations is not Your will for her life. Your Word is clear: "Do not be unequally yoked with unbelievers. For what fellowship have righteousness and iniquity? Or what communion has light with darkness?" (2 Corinthians 6:14). We pray that she would seek Your kingdom first (Matthew 6:33) and trust You to provide a spouse who will walk with her in faith, purity, and mutual respect.
Father, we also lift up her mental and emotional health. We ask that You would bring clarity to her mind, peace to her heart, and healing to any wounds she carries. Your Word tells us that You are near to the brokenhearted and save those who are crushed in spirit (Psalm 34:18). We declare that she is not defined by her diagnoses but by Your love and purpose for her life. Give her wisdom in her interactions with medical professionals, counselors, and those who seek to support her. Let her never be silenced or dismissed when she speaks her truth, and surround her with people who will advocate for her with compassion and integrity.
We also want to gently remind you, dear sister in Christ, that our prayers and our daughter’s hope must be firmly rooted in the name of Jesus. There is no other name under heaven by which we can be saved (Acts 4:12). If your daughter does not yet know Jesus as her Lord and Savior, we pray that she would come to a saving knowledge of Him. Salvation is found in no one else, and it is only through faith in Christ that we receive forgiveness of sins, eternal life, and the power to walk in victory over every struggle. We encourage you to share the Gospel with her, that she may confess with her mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in her heart that God raised Him from the dead (Romans 10:9).
Heavenly Father, we thank You for Your faithfulness and for the promise that You will never leave her nor forsake her (Deuteronomy 31:6). We ask that You would fill her with Your Holy Spirit, guiding her steps, comforting her in times of distress, and filling her with hope for the future. May she grow in wisdom, in stature, and in favor with You and with others (Luke 2:52). We declare that her life is a testimony of Your grace, and we trust You to complete the good work You have begun in her (Philippians 1:6).
In the mighty name of Jesus, we pray. Amen.
