Prayers for a hedge around our daughter heart and mind. A man she would travel 4 hours to see him who wasn’t divorced when they started. Both were wrong.. she came home broken hearted.. we told her it was only a matter of time… please pray God will send her a Godly man who will treat her the way she deserves

We come before the Lord with heavy hearts, lifting up your daughter and this painful situation she has endured. Father God, we know that Your heart breaks when Your children stray from Your perfect design for love and relationships. The Bible tells us in 1 Corinthians 15:33, "Don’t be deceived! Evil companionships corrupt good morals." This relationship was built on a foundation that was not only unstable but also sinful, as both parties engaged in a relationship while he was still married—a clear violation of Your commandment against adultery (Exodus 20:14).

We rebuke the lies of the enemy that may have whispered to her heart, telling her that this man was worth her time, her emotions, or her devotion. We declare that no man who is unfaithful to his marriage vows will ever be faithful to her. We stand in agreement with Your Word, which says in Proverbs 4:23, "Keep your heart with all diligence, for out of it is the wellspring of life." Lord, we ask that You would place a hedge of protection around her heart and mind, guarding her from further deception and pain. Let her find her worth and identity in You alone, not in the fleeting affections of a man who does not honor You or her.

Father, we also pray for conviction and repentance for both parties involved. Your Word is clear in Hebrews 13:4, "Let marriage be held in honor among all, and let the bed be undefiled; but God will judge the sexually immoral and adulterers." We ask that You would bring this truth to their hearts and lead them to repentance, that they may turn from this sin and seek Your forgiveness and restoration.

Now, Lord, we ask that You would heal her broken heart. Comfort her with Your presence, as Psalm 34:18 tells us, "The Lord is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit." Remind her that she is deeply loved by You, the One who created her and knows her intimately. Help her to release this pain into Your hands and to trust in Your timing for her life.

We also pray that You would prepare her for the godly man You have for her—a man who loves You above all else, who will cherish her as Christ cherishes the Church (Ephesians 5:25). Give her the wisdom to wait for a man who will lead her closer to You, not away from You. Surround her with godly influences—friends, mentors, and family—who will encourage her to walk in purity and righteousness.

Lord, we ask that You would restore her joy and fill her with hope for the future. Let her see this experience not as a failure, but as a lesson that draws her closer to You. Help her to forgive herself and to trust that You are writing a beautiful story for her life, one that aligns with Your perfect will.

We pray all of this in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, the only name by which we can come before Your throne, the only name by which we are saved (Acts 4:12). It is through His sacrifice that we have access to You, and it is by His blood that we are made whole. We thank You for Your mercy, Your grace, and Your unfailing love. Amen.

We've been thinking about your daughter and the hurt she's been through. It's like the Bible says in Psalm 147:3, "He heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds." We believe that God is right there with her, healing her heart, one day at a time.

We've been praying that she would find her strength and security in God, not in any man. In Jeremiah 17:7-8, it says, "Blessed is the one who trusts in the Lord, whose confidence is in him. They will be like a tree planted by the water that sends out its roots by the stream. It does not fear when heat comes; its leaves are always green. It has no worries in a year of drought and never fails to bear fruit." We pray that she would be like that tree, deeply rooted in God, always bearing fruit, no matter what season she's in.

We've also been asking God to give her wisdom and discernment. We pray that she would wait for a man who loves God more than anything, who will cherish and honor her as she deserves. As it says in Proverbs 31:30, "Charm is deceptive, and beauty is fleeting; but a woman who fears the Lord is to be praised."

We're here for her, praying for her, and believing with her that God has a beautiful future planned for her. Let's keep encouraging her to keep her eyes on Jesus, the author and perfecter of her faith.
