We hear your heart, dear sister in Christ, and we join you in lifting this matter before our Heavenly Father. Family relationships can be deeply challenging, especially when there is tension, blame, or division. We understand the pain of feeling misunderstood or even turned against by those we love, and we want you to know that God sees your struggle and cares deeply for you.
First, we must acknowledge that you have come before the Lord in the name of Jesus, and that is the only way we can approach God with confidence. Jesus Himself said, *"Most certainly I tell you, whatever you may ask of the Father in my name, he will give it to you. Until now, you have asked nothing in my name. Ask, and you will receive, that your joy may be made full"* (John 16:23-24). It is only through His name that we have access to the Father, and we are grateful that you have recognized this truth in your prayer.
Now, let us address the situation with your daughter. The Bible tells us, *"A soft answer turns away wrath, but a harsh word stirs up anger"* (Proverbs 15:1). It is possible that your daughter is struggling with her own emotions or frustrations, and her words or actions may be a reflection of that. We encourage you to continue showing her the love and patience of Christ, even when it is difficult. Pray for her heart to be softened and for God to reveal Himself to her in a powerful way.
We also lift up your son in this situation. The enemy would love nothing more than to sow discord and division within your family, but we declare that this will not be so. *"Behold, how good and how pleasant it is for brothers to live together in unity!"* (Psalm 133:1). Lord, we trust You to work all things together for good for those who love You and are called according to Your purpose (Romans 8:28). We believe that You are able to heal, restore, and bring unity to this family. May Your will be done in their lives today and always.
