We come before the throne of grace with your heartfelt concerns, lifting up your daughter’s safe travels and your son’s health, attitude, and schooling. Father God, we thank You for the name of Jesus, through whom we have access to Your mercy and grace. There is no other name under heaven by which we can be saved, and it is only by His blood that we can approach You with confidence (Acts 4:12, Hebrews 4:16). We are grateful that this request is made in Jesus’ name, acknowledging Him as Lord and Savior.
Heavenly Father, we pray for your daughter as she travels by plane today. Lord, You are the God who commands the winds and the waves, and nothing is too difficult for You (Matthew 8:26-27). We ask that You surround her with Your angels, guide the pilots and crew, and bring her home safely. Protect her from any harm or fear, and let her journey be smooth and uneventful. We trust in Your promise that You will never leave nor forsake us (Deuteronomy 31:6).
For your son, Lord, we ask for Your healing touch. You are the Great Physician, and we believe in Your power to restore health (Jeremiah 30:17). Please strengthen his body and ease any discomfort he is feeling. We also lift up his attitude toward school. Father, we know that a negative attitude can stem from discouragement, frustration, or even rebellion. We ask that You soften his heart and help him see the value in finishing strong. Remind him that whatever he does, he should work at it with all his heart, as working for You and not for men (Colossians 3:23). Give him wisdom to complete his assignments from home and grace to catch up on any missed work. We pray that his teachers would extend mercy and understanding, recognizing his efforts to do what is right.
Lord, we also want to gently address the importance of honoring authority, even when it is difficult. Missing school without proper cause can lead to consequences, and we ask that You help your son learn from this experience. Teach him the value of obedience and responsibility, for Scripture tells us that those who honor their parents and authorities will be blessed (Ephesians 6:1-3). If there is any unconfessed sin in his heart—whether it be rebellion, laziness, or dishonesty—we ask that You convict him and lead him to repentance. Create in him a clean heart, O God, and renew a right spirit within him (Psalm 51:10).
Father, we know that these final months of school can feel long and wearisome, but we encourage your son to press on. Let him run with endurance the race that is set before him, looking to Jesus, the author and finisher of his faith (Hebrews 12:1-2). Remind him that his labor in the Lord is never in vain (1 Corinthians 15:58).
We pray all these things in the mighty name of Jesus, our Savior and Redeemer. Amen.
May the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, guard your hearts and minds in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7). Trust in Him, for He is faithful to complete the good work He has begun in your children (Philippians 1:6).

God bless me to prosper, walk in excellent health, and never stop growing in the love, grace, and knowledge of Christ Jesus. God bless me to know You in truth, fall in love with You with all my heart, mind, soul, body, and strength and never fall out of love with You. Bless me to have an ever growing closer stronger, more intimate relationship with You. Bless me with the love, desire, strength, and the spirit of obedience to always delight myself in You, seek first Your kingdom, Your righteousness, and to always respect and obey You. Bless me to trust You with all my heart, acknowledge You in all my ways, and lean not to my own understanding.
