Beloved friend, I have read your plea with a heavy heart, yet I am lifted by the confidence you place in our Lord Jesus Christ. You cry out for your daughter, and such a cry as this never falls to the ground unheard before the throne of grace. You are not unlike Hannah of old, who in her anguish poured out her soul for her child, and the Lord remembered her. Take heart, for the God who hearkened to her is your God still.

This is a solemn hour, a last opportunity, as you say. Yet mark how the grace of our sovereign Lord delights to work at such moments. When all human strength is spent, when the will is broken and the heart is like adamant, the Spirit of God can secretly melt the ice and dissolve the rock. The "shall" of grace is mightier than the "I will" of pride, and the stubbornest rebel may feel sweetly constrained to yield. Do not look so much to the seven days as to the eternal arm that can sustain her through them. The Lord knows how to accomplish His purposes without violating the nature He has made, and He can make the most unwilling willing in the day of His power.

Lay hold of this promise for your daughter: commit her into the hands of Him who, when He registers His people, writes each name individually. He knows her name, her sorrows, and the cords of sin that bind her. He knows also the little child whose future hangs in the balance. Pray, dear soul, with that holy importunity which will not let the Angel go. Dedicate her afresh to God, as Hannah did Samuel, and believe that the prayer offered in faith shall return in blessing. Neither imagine that the case is too hard, for the Holy Spirit can reach as many as He pleases and subdue the most desperate. There is no limit to results when He puts forth His power.

Let this trial drive you nearer to the Christ, the holy Child Jesus, who is touched with the feeling of our infirmities. He is the way, the only way, and He delights to answer those who come to Him with empty hands, flinging themselves upon His strength. Your daughter's service of repentance and recovery, if God shall grant it, will be all of grace from first to last, nothing legal, nothing of human merit, but a free gift from the Giver of every good and perfect thing. Therefore, hope against hope, and look for the mighty working of Jehovah's arm.

Now, go to your knees afresh, beloved, and say, "Lord, Thou hast said that if we ask anything according to Thy will, Thou hearest us. I plead the blood of Jesus over my daughter and her child. Let her stay these seven days, and let this be the beginning of an everlasting rescue. But above all, save her soul, and let her be written among the living in Jerusalem." Amen. May the peace that passeth understanding keep your heart and mind.

God bless me to know You in truth, fall in love with You with all my heart, mind, soul, body, and strength and never fall out of love with You. God, bless me to have an ever growing closer stronger, more intimate relationship with You. Bless me with the love, desire, strength, and the spirit of obedience to always delight myself in You, seek first Your kingdom, Your righteousness, and to always respect and obey You. Bless me to know You, so that I can trust You with all my heart, acknowledge You in all my ways, and lean not to my own understanding. Bless me with knowledge, wisdom, and understanding in all You have called me to do.

God heal me in every area of my life. Deliver and cleanse me of everything in my life that doesn't honor You. Transform and renew my mind. Bless me with love, power, and a sound mind. Let the mind that is in Christ Jesus be in me. Bless me to have and operate with a God-conscious-solution-focused-heart-mind-spirit-and-attitude. Bless me to have a God Kingdom Culture Mentality. God be with me as a mighty warrior. Let no weapon formed against me prosper. Protect me from all the plans of my enemies and the plans of the enemy of my soul. God, all that I have asked of You, in this prayer, please do the same for the writer of the prayer, all those who love and care about me, and all those I love and care about. The trial you face is indeed grievous, yet remember that this present life is but a spider’s web and a shadow; the things we fear to lose here are passing, but the soul and her eternal state are immortal. Your daughter’s battle in the detox is not beyond the reach of God’s power. Do not despair as though the case were hopeless, for even from stones God can raise up children to Abraham. Many who seem last become first, and those who appear lost are found.

You must yourself be a pattern of long-suffering and modesty. Exhort her in private, not with furious words, for anger makes one a child, but with the calm wisdom that laughs inwardly at the enemy’s darts. The longsuffering heart stands high and unwounded. Speak to her as one who loves her soul, reminding her that these seven days are a moment of mercy, a narrow door opening onto life for both her and her child. Be to your daughter an adornment of good works, that she may see Christ reflected in you and desire that same garment for herself.

Pray without ceasing, and I join my prayers with yours, that she may remain steadfast these days. But if she should stumble, do not cast away confidence, for God’s arm is not shortened. The child she might lose is precious, yet the Judge of all will do right. Entrust them both to Him who raises the dead and restores the years the locusts have eaten. May the Lord grant her perseverance, deliver her from this snare, and preserve her little one, to His glory and their salvation, through Jesus Christ our Lord.

We are so grateful you entrusted us with your heavy heart and allowed us to stand beside you in prayer for your precious daughter. These past days have been filled with our pleas to the Father—asking Him to steady her steps, quiet her fears, and wrap her in His peace so she would find the strength to complete the full seven days of detox. We have also lifted up the weighty matter of Child Protective Services, praying that every decision would be guided by wisdom, mercy, and a clear reflection of God’s love for her.

If the battle continues and the outcome is still uncertain, we invite you to post this request again; we are eager to keep storming heaven on her behalf.
