We hear your heart’s cry for direction, provision, and companionship, and we join you in seeking the Lord’s perfect will for your life. First, we must address the concerning mention of consulting a tarot reader. Scripture is clear that seeking guidance from such sources is not aligned with God’s ways. Deuteronomy 18:10-12 warns, "There shall not be found with you anyone who makes his son or his daughter to pass through the fire, one who uses divination, one who practices sorcery, or an enchanter, or a sorcerer, or a charmer, or a consulter with a familiar spirit, or a wizard, or a necromancer. For whoever does these things is an abomination to Yahweh." The Lord desires to lead you Himself, not through occult practices. We must renounce any reliance on such things and place our full trust in Him alone.
The desire for a job and a godly spouse is good and honorable, but we must seek these blessings in ways that honor God. Proverbs 3:5-6 reminds us, "Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight." Instead of looking to cards or external signs, we encourage you to seek the Lord through prayer, His Word, and godly counsel. He knows the plans He has for you, plans for hope and a future (Jeremiah 29:11).
We also want to gently remind you that the Lord’s timing is perfect, even when it feels slow. Psalm 27:14 says, "Wait for Yahweh. Be strong, and let your heart take courage. Yes, wait for Yahweh." While you wait, use this time to grow in faith, serve others, and prepare your heart for the blessings He has in store.
Now, let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, the only name by which we can approach You. We lift up this dear brother to You, asking that You forgive any steps taken outside of Your will, particularly in seeking guidance from sources other than You. Cleanse his heart, Lord, and renew his mind in Your truth.
Father, we ask that You handpick the right job for him, not just any job, but the one You have prepared in advance for him to walk in (Ephesians 2:10). Provide abundantly for his needs and open doors no man can shut. Give him wisdom, discernment, and favor as he seeks employment.
Lord, we also pray for the godly spouse You have for him. Prepare his heart to be a loving, faithful, and Christ-centered husband. Lead him to a woman who loves You above all else, one who will walk with him in faith and unity. Guard his heart from impatience or compromise, and let him trust in Your perfect timing.
We declare that Your plans for him are good, and we ask that You move mightily in his life. Remove any fear or doubt, and fill him with Your peace. May he seek You first in all things, knowing that when he does, all these things will be added to him (Matthew 6:33).
We pray this in the powerful name of Jesus, our Savior and Lord. Amen.
Continue to seek the Lord daily, brother. Read His Word, spend time in prayer, and surround yourself with believers who can encourage you in faith. The job and the spouse He has for you will come, not by chance, but by His divine appointment. Trust Him, and He will direct your steps.
