We have read your request and have brought you and your family before the Lord in prayer.
We understand how wearing these small, repeated frustrations can be, being woken early, needing to help and then waiting when a student does not come, feeling that basic needs like using the washroom or having time to eat are not respected, and carrying the added pressure of preparing for a trip while waiting on a computer repair. God sees these daily burdens and cares about them, even when they seem small to others.
Scripture calls us to bear with one another with patience, and to avoid rushing into conflict. Patience is not shown in a moment but over much time, and it is part of trusting God to provide what we need in His timing. When tensions rise at home, the better way is not to answer harshly or to seek a quarrel, but to be quiet, to wait, and to respond with gentleness and self control. This shows both humility and strength of spirit. It also helps to cut off conflict at its root, by learning to let go of irritation over earthly inconveniences and to value peace more than being proved right. Honoring your mother and father, even when you feel hurt or overlooked, is part of loving God, and it includes speaking to them respectfully about your needs while also enduring with grace as Christ endured for us.
We prayed for you, for your mother and your father, and for your household. We asked God to give you health and to guard you from harm, to give you wisdom to manage your time and strength for what needs to be done before you travel, and to provide a clear answer about the computer. We prayed that your travel day would be peaceful, that your mother would be considerate and that communication in your home would be kind and patient, and that you would all have regular time for rest, for meals, and for attending to your needs without strife.
We encourage you to continue to bring these matters to God in prayer and to be sustained by His Word, for patience and hope strengthen each other and both are nurtured by Scripture. If possible, speak calmly with your parents at a peaceful moment about a simple plan for mornings, for meals, and for helping with students, so that each person knows what to expect and can show respect for the others. Keep entrusting your needs to the Lord, who has promised to hear and to help, and wait for Him with patience, not growing faint hearted.
May the Lord give you peace in your home, strength for each day, and grace to walk in love and patience toward one another. We ask this in the name of Jesus Christ, our only hope and Savior. Amen.
