My mum ### has arm issue, got x-ray done, hope it’s not broken. She thinks she is fat, got blood test done for some needle that may cause her to lose her hair; but may lose weight, hope she never gets that needle. Hope to get out on Thursday and Friday without issues. Hope to get money, I am owed very soon. Hope my parents, don’t make things hard or go through my things; deal with what’s most important instead, for example getting the back stairs fixed before winter. Hope to get enough time to things, as I can’t keep up with what is needed and can’t keep up with what is asked of me (my mum’s mental health issues don’t help). My dad ###, needs to get eyes tested, hope he still can drive, afterwards. Hope it doesn’t snow until early or mid-December.

We have read your request and we are joining with you in prayer for your family and the many burdens you are carrying.

We lift up your mum to the Lord and pray for her arm. We ask God to bring healing and that the x-ray would show no break and that any pain or injury would be restored quickly. We remember that He heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds in Psalm 147:3 and that we can trust Him when we are afraid, for He says in Isaiah 41:10 Do not be afraid, for I am with you. Do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you. Yes, I will help you. Yes, I will uphold you with the right hand of my righteousness.

We also pray for your mum in how she sees herself and for this decision about the needle. We understand she feels she is fat and is considering a treatment that may cause her to lose hair in order to lose weight, and that you hope she never gets it. We pray for wisdom for her and for her doctors, and for peace about her body. We are fearfully and wonderfully made in Psalm 139:14, and our bodies are a temple of the Holy Spirit in 1 Corinthians 6:19-20, so we are to honor God with our bodies not through harmful or vain means but through healthy stewardship. We pray she would know her value in Christ and that any treatment would be weighed carefully for her health and not from pressure about appearance, and that the blood test results would give clear and helpful guidance.

We lift up your dad and his eye test. We pray the Lord would keep his eyes healthy and that he would be able to continue driving safely if it is His will. We ask for clear results and for protection on the road for him and for others.

We pray for your home and the practical needs you mentioned. We ask God to provide for the back stairs to be fixed before winter for the safety of your whole family, and we pray He would keep the snow away until December as you hope. We pray for protection as you hope to get out on Thursday and Friday without issues, that the Lord would order your steps and keep you from trouble. We also pray for the money you are owed, that it would be returned to you very soon and that God would provide for your needs according to His riches in glory in Philippians 4:19. We cast all our worries on Him because He cares for us in 1 Peter 5:7.

We hear how overwhelmed you feel, that you cannot keep up with what is needed and what is asked of you, and that your mum's mental health struggles make this harder. We pray for strength and rest for you, for wisdom to manage time, and for grace in your family relationships. God promises in Isaiah 40:29 that He gives power to the weak and increases strength to those who have no might. We encourage you to honor your parents as the Lord commands in Exodus 20:12 and Ephesians 6:2, even while you feel stretched, and to speak with them with gentleness and respect about needing boundaries with your things and about prioritizing what is most important in the home. In Philippians 4:6-7 we are told In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus. We pray that peace over you and over your mum and dad, and we pray the Lord would bring support and help for your mum's mental health and patience and understanding for all of you as you bear with one another in love in Galatians 6:2.

We noticed your request did not mention the name of Jesus, and we want to gently share that it is only through Jesus that we have access to God and that we are saved. Jesus said in John 14:6 I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me. And in Acts 4:12 There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved. If we confess with our mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in our heart that God raised Him from the dead we will be saved in Romans 10:9. It is by trusting in Jesus Christ alone that our prayers are heard and our sins forgiven, and we pray you know that hope.

So together we pray, Father in heaven, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ and lift up this family to You. Heal this dear mum's arm and bring peace to her heart about her body and health. Give wisdom about any treatment and protect her from harm. Strengthen and heal this dad's eyes and keep him safe. Provide the money that is owed, provide for the stairs to be repaired, keep this dear one safe on Thursday and Friday, and grant enough time and rest to do what is needed. Bring peace into this home, guard each heart from anxiety, help these parents and this child to communicate with love and respect, and bring help and stability for mental health struggles. We trust Your timing for the seasons and ask for Your mercy over the winter months. We ask all this in the precious name of Jesus, our hope and our healer, Amen.

We appreciate you sharing so much of what is weighing on you right now. Waiting on your mum's x-ray for her arm and those blood test results, worrying about your dad's eye test and whether he can keep driving, and also carrying concerns about money you are owed, getting out Thursday and Friday, and the house repairs is a lot to hold at once.

It makes sense you feel stretched thin and unable to keep up with what is needed and what is asked of you. When your mum is struggling with her health and how she feels about herself, and when your things are gone through or extra demands are added, it can feel even harder to find breathing room. Your hope to have the back stairs fixed before winter and for snow to hold off until December is very understandable, and wanting more time and space is a real need.

When many things feel urgent, it can help to name the one or two that matter most this week and talk about them calmly at a good moment. A brief, respectful conversation with your parents about the priority of the stairs and about boundaries for your personal space may ease some pressure. For the health questions, following up with the clinic for the results as they come in can bring clarity, alongside prayer, and the same kind of follow up for the money owed as you are able.

We are praying for margin and rest for you even while much is asked.

Father in Jesus name we lift this family to You. We ask for healing and clear answers for mum's arm, wisdom for her doctors, and peace for her heart. We ask for care for dad's eyes and for safety and wisdom around driving. Provide for their financial needs, watch over their time Thursday and Friday, and give our friend strength, calm and guidance for each step ahead according to Your will. Amen.

Your many burdens have been laid before the Lord with prayer and thanksgiving, and we join you in bringing each of them to our gracious Father who hears the cries of His family.

We have prayed for your dear mother, that the Lord who is the health of our countenance and our God would be pleased to restore her arm and give wisdom to those who have taken the x-ray and the blood tests. We ask that He would grant her true health, which is not in outward appearance or in the esteem of weight and form, but in the right condition of spirit, soul and body before Him. If the needle of which you speak would do her harm, even to the losing of her hair, we pray the Lord in His providence would keep her from it and give her contentment and care for the body He has given her, and that her mind may be stayed upon Him who is our health.

We have prayed also for your father, that the Lord would be merciful in the testing of his eyes and preserve his sight so far as it shall be for his good and safety and the good of others upon the road. Whether he is permitted to continue driving or not, we pray he may be kept in peace and entrusted to the Lord's wise keeping.

For your own cares we have entreated the Lord. For your going out on Thursday and Friday, that you may be kept without hindrance or trouble and walk in safety. For the money you are owed, that if it be right and needful, it may be restored to you soon, for all things are yours in Christ and your Father knows what you have need of before you ask Him. For your home, that your parents may dwell with you in kindness and understanding, respecting what is yours and giving heed to what is most needful, such as the repair of the back stairs before winter comes. For the weight of time and duty which presses upon you, when you cannot keep pace with what is required and what is asked of you, that the Lord would give you strength for each day and redeem your time, and grant you quietness of spirit amid the trial of your mother's infirmity of mind. And for the season, that the Lord who holds the snow and the frost in His hand would order the weather according to His perfect will.

Take comfort that you are not alone in these trials. The whole family in heaven and earth are one in Christ, and the sick child is of the same family as his brother in perfect health. Cast your care upon Him, and maintain family prayer and private prayer, for it is the nutriment of family piety and the castle of our hope. May the Lord heal and sustain you, and cause you yet to praise Him who is the health of your countenance and your God. We commend you to His covenant mercy through Jesus Christ our Lord, in whose name alone is salvation.

Bless me to trust You with all my heart, lean not to my own understanding, acknowledge You in all my ways, and allow You to direct my footsteps and actions. Bless me with knowledge, wisdom, and understanding in all You have called me to do.

God heal me in every area of my life. Deliver and cleanse me of everything in my life that doesn't honor You. Transform and renew my mind. Bless me with love, power, and a sound mind.
