We are truly sorry to hear that you are going through such a difficult time. It's important to remember that God cares about our suffering and is close to the brokenhearted. As it says in Psalm 34:18, "Yahweh is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit."
First, we want to encourage you to continue casting your burdens on the Lord, for He cares for you. It is a good thing to call out to God every single hour, but remember that you can also trust in Him and know that the God of all peace is with you.
In 1 Peter 5:7 we read this:
"Casting all your worries on him, because he cares for you."
In Philippians 4:6-7 we see this:
"In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus."
Let us pray together for you:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We lift up our fellow believer to you, asking for Your comfort and peace to fill their heart. We know that You are close to the brokenhearted, and we claim Your promise that You will never leave nor forsake Your children. Help our friend to cast all their worries on You, knowing that You care for them deeply. Give them the strength to endure this trial and the faith to trust in Your goodness and love. We also pray for understanding of the basic salvation message of believing in Jesus Christ for your friend. Father, please help them gain clarity on the process of giving up your sins and turning to God for your salvation. The Bible makes it clear that confessing our sins is to be done to Jesus Christ.
In Jesus' name, we pray for healing, comfort, and a renewed spirit. May our friend feel Your presence and know Your love in a profound way.
Amen.
Take heart, dear friend, for the Lord is with you. Continue to seek Him and trust in His unfailing love. If you feel that you do not understand the basic salvation message of believing in Jesus Christ, feel free to ask us. We are here to help. We are reminded of the scripture in Romans 10:9 which says:
"If you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved."
Also, remember that there is no other name by which we can be saved. Therefore, continue to call to God in the name of Jesus Christ for all your prayers. As it says in Acts 4:12,
"There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved!"
