Crisis

Beloved of All
All my plans end in failure. It doesn't matter that I don't sleep because I'm working and that I invest all my money and more, because everything is going to turn out not just badly, but worse. And now I am sick with pain. I don't know what to do.

We hear the weight of your despair, and our hearts ache with you in this season of overwhelming struggle. The exhaustion, the financial strain, the physical pain—it all feels like a relentless storm with no end in sight. But we want you to know this: your worth is not measured by your success or failure, and your identity is not defined by your circumstances. The Lord sees your labor, your tears, and your pain, and He is near to the brokenhearted (Psalm 34:18).

First, we must address the lie that has taken root in your heart—that no matter what you do, everything will turn out "not just badly, but worse." This is not the voice of truth; it is the voice of the enemy, who seeks to steal, kill, and destroy (John 10:10). The Lord promises in Jeremiah 29:11, *"For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says Yahweh, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you hope and a future."* Even when the path is unclear, His plans for you are good. But we must rebuke the spirit of despair that whispers otherwise. In the name of Jesus, we break its power over your mind and declare that you will not be overcome by fear or hopelessness.

We also sense the need to address the way you are pouring yourself out—sleepless nights, financial strain, and now physical illness. While diligence and hard work are godly virtues, the Lord never intended for you to sacrifice your health, peace, or provision in pursuit of success. Proverbs 16:3 reminds us, *"Commit your deeds to Yahweh, and your plans shall succeed."* Notice it does not say, "Exhaust yourself to the point of collapse." The Lord is not glorified in burnout or self-destruction. We must surrender your plans, your finances, and your health into His hands and trust that He will order your steps (Proverbs 3:5-6).

Now, let us pray for you:

Heavenly Father, we come before You on behalf of our brother/sister who is weary and heavy-laden. Lord, we ask that You would lift the burden of despair from their shoulders and replace it with Your peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7). We rebuke the spirit of failure and declare that this season is not the end of their story. You are the God who turns ashes into beauty, mourning into joy, and despair into hope (Isaiah 61:3). We ask that You would heal their body, Lord, and restore their strength. Touch every area of pain and bring relief, we pray.

Father, we also ask that You would provide wisdom and clarity for their next steps. Show them where they may be striving in their own strength and where they need to surrender control to You. Open doors of opportunity that no man can shut, and close doors that are not part of Your plan (Revelation 3:8). We pray for financial provision, Lord, that You would meet every need according to Your riches in glory (Philippians 4:19). And above all, we ask that You would draw them closer to You in this season. Let them find rest in Your presence and hope in Your promises.

Lord, if there is any area of their life that is not aligned with Your will—whether it be in their work, their relationships, or their priorities—we ask that You would reveal it to them. Give them the courage to make changes, even if it means stepping away from something that is not bearing fruit. We declare that their identity is found in Christ alone, not in their achievements or failures. Remind them daily that they are Your beloved child, fearfully and wonderfully made (Psalm 139:14).

We also want to gently address the importance of coming to You in the name of Jesus. There is no other name under heaven by which we can be saved (Acts 4:12). If you have not yet surrendered your life to Christ, we urge you to do so today. Romans 10:9 says, *"that if you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved."* Salvation is not earned by works or success; it is a free gift of grace. If you are already a believer, we encourage you to press into Him more deeply in this season. Spend time in His Word, in prayer, and in fellowship with other believers who can uplift and support you.

Finally, we want to leave you with this encouragement from Psalm 30:5: *"Weeping may stay for the night, but joy comes in the morning."* This season of struggle is not forever. The Lord is working even when you cannot see it, and He will not abandon you. Keep your eyes fixed on Him, and trust that He is leading you to a place of greater faith, greater dependence, and greater fruitfulness. You are not alone in this. We stand with you in prayer, and we believe that God is about to turn your mourning into dancing (Psalm 30:11). Hold on, dear one. His promises are true.

We're right here with you, friend. We feel the weight of your struggle, the relentless storm that seems to have no end. But remember, even in the darkest night, the dawn is always near. You're not alone in this. We're here, and so is Jesus.

You've been pushing so hard, working tirelessly, and now your body is crying out for rest. It's okay to pause, to take a breath. God never intended for us to run on empty. He wants us to come to Him with our burdens, to cast our cares upon Him because He cares for us (1 Peter 5:7). He's not surprised by your pain or your circumstances. He's right there with you, every step of the way.

Let's pray together:

Dear Heavenly Father, we come to You on behalf of our friend. Lord, we ask that You would comfort them in their pain, that You would heal their body and bring relief. We ask for wisdom and clarity for their next steps, that You would open doors that no man can shut and close doors that are not part of Your plan. We pray for financial provision, Lord, that You would meet every need according to Your riches in glory.

But above all, Lord, we ask that You would draw them closer to You. Let them find rest in Your presence and hope in Your promises. Remind them daily that they are Your beloved child, fearfully and wonderfully made.

In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

Keep holding on, dear one. The dawn is coming.
