Beloved of All
There are numerous people who are getting away doing anything on the street while others are being tortured to death for minor infractions. Not by law enforcement but by criminals pretending to be Christians who love others while they torture them to death over behaviours that they easily ignore when one of their own does them. Please pray that God would intervene.

We hear the deep pain and righteous anger in your words as you describe the grave injustices happening in our world, where wickedness is excused for some while others suffer unspeakable cruelty, even at the hands of those who claim the name of Christ but defile it with their actions. This is not the way of our Lord, who is just, holy, and abhors hypocrisy. The Word of God declares, "Woe to those who call evil good and good evil, who put darkness for light and light for darkness" (Isaiah 5:20). We must stand against such deception and cry out for God’s intervention.

First, we rebuke the spirit of lawlessness and hypocrisy that has infiltrated even those who profess faith. Jesus warned, "Beware of false prophets, who come to you in sheep’s clothing but inwardly are ravenous wolves" (Matthew 7:15). The Lord sees every act of violence, every hidden cruelty, and every double standard. He will not be mocked (Galatians 6:7). We pray that the light of Christ would expose these deeds of darkness and that those who commit such atrocities would be brought to repentance, or to justice.

We also lift up those who are suffering under this oppression. The psalmist cried out, "O Lord, how long will you look on? Rescue my soul from their destructions, my precious life from the lions!" (Psalm 35:17). We stand with you in prayer, asking God to be a refuge for the afflicted, a shield for the vulnerable, and a deliverer for those trapped in injustice. May He arise and scatter His enemies (Psalm 68:1), bringing swift judgment upon those who harm His children.

For those who claim Christ yet commit such evil, we declare that their deeds do not go unnoticed. "Vengeance is mine; I will repay, says the Lord" (Romans 12:19). We pray for their hearts to be broken by conviction, that they would turn from their wickedness and seek true repentance before it is too late. If they refuse, we trust that God’s justice will prevail, for He is a God who "will by no means clear the guilty" (Exodus 34:7).

Lastly, we pray for the body of Christ to rise up in truth and love, shining as a light in this dark world. Let us not be silent when injustice reigns, but let us speak with boldness, act with compassion, and stand firm in the truth of God’s Word. May we be a people who reflect His justice, mercy, and holiness, showing the world what it truly means to follow Christ.

Heavenly Father, we come before You with heavy hearts, grieved by the wickedness and hypocrisy we see around us. We ask You to intervene in these situations where evil is called good and where Your name is blasphemed by those who claim to serve You. Expose the darkness, Lord, and bring Your justice to those who harm the innocent. Be a refuge for the oppressed, a strong tower for the weak, and a judge for the wicked. We pray for repentance for those who commit these atrocities, that they would turn from their sin and seek Your face. If they refuse, we trust in Your perfect justice to prevail. Raise up Your church to be a voice for the voiceless and a defender of the helpless. Let us not grow weary in doing good, for in due season, we will reap if we do not give up (Galatians 6:9). We ask all these things in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, the Righteous Judge, who will one day make all things right. Amen.

We hear the anguish in your words, and we sit with you in that heaviness. It is deeply disturbing when cruelty is cloaked in the name of Christ, when abusers use the language of love to hide violence while looking the other way for their own. That perversion of faith is something God himself grieves, and we’re holding this alongside you.

In a world where evil seems to prosper, it can feel like God’s justice is absent. Yet we know that nothing escapes his sight. He sees every hidden act, every victim’s cry, every false “Christian” mask. Bringing that raw ache directly to him is not a small thing; it is an act of faith. So we join you in crying out for his intervention.

As you continue to pray, we’d also gently invite you to consider: if you have witnessed or know of any specific crimes, sharing that information with law enforcement or a trusted shepherd in your church could be a tangible step toward justice. Of course, do so only in a way that keeps you safe, but God often works through courageous human instruments, not just supernatural intervention.

Right now, we simply want to steady you in this: you are not alone in your outrage, and your prayer matters profoundly. We bring before the Lord the victims, the perpetrators, and the broken witnesses.

Jesus, you see every act done in darkness and every victim crushed by cruelty. We ask you to intervene, to stop the hands of those who torment others while hiding behind your name, to expose their deeds, and to bring rescue and healing to those they’ve harmed. For the ones crying out for justice, let your righteousness thunder. For those who feel powerless, steady their hearts with the certainty that you will not leave evil unjudged. Protect the vulnerable, and guide any who can act on their behalf. In your mighty name, Jesus.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.
Matthew 6:33: But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

The deeds you describe are written in God's book, and the cry of the oppressed has entered the ears of the Lord of hosts. I have carried this matter before the throne of grace, and I will do so again. I will not ask God to bless the hands that do such things. I ask Him to break their power and save their souls. Men may wear the name of Christian and yet be nothing but whited sepulchres full of dead men's bones. When they torture others for small offences while passing over the same sins among their own, they prove that the love of God is not in them. Beware the leaven of the Pharisees, which is hypocrisy. This age is full of shams, but the all-seeing God cannot be deceived, and God will surely avenge hypocrisy. He notes the secret cruelty as well as the public profession. Those who pretend to love Christ while their hands are red with the blood of the helpless have chosen a master, and it is not the meek and lowly Jesus. Whatever the offence they claim to punish, no follower of the Lamb may take up the torturer's tools. Vengeance belongeth unto God. The church has no sword for men's bodies. Her weapons are truth and prayer and love, and those who choose the rack and the flame have denied the faith they profess.

Let us pray. O Lord, Thou God of justice and mercy, intervene with Thine own right hand. Expose the hidden works of darkness. Break the arm of the violent man. Let those who have been tortured find deliverance, and let the wicked be brought to repentance or to swift judgment. We pray not only that Thou wouldst stop the hand of the oppressor, but that Thou wouldst change his heart. For if he will not turn, the day of his own terror will surely come. Let not the holy name of Christ be blasphemed by those who wear it falsely, but raise up a people who love in deed and in truth.

Do not let the prosperity of the wicked shake your confidence in divine government. God is not slack concerning His promise. The wheels of His justice may grind slowly, but they grind exceeding small. He can suspend the ordinary course of things when He pleases, and He can make the wrath of man to praise Him. The presence of God is the one hope of His people, and the Church only needs the Divine Presence in the midst of her for these systems of cruelty to melt away.

Therefore set your face to seek the Lord with holy violence, not against flesh and blood, but against the powers of darkness that drive men to such deeds. Wrestle in prayer as Jacob wrestled, and say, I will not let Thee go except Thou bless. Cry day and night for divine interposition. The Lord will perfect that which concerneth you; He will not forsake the poor and needy. Wait upon Him and rest in His sovereignty, for He sees the end from the beginning.

God is not mocked. The Lord pronounced woe upon whited sepulchers, men who look clean on the outside but are full of dead bones and uncleanness within. No true disciple of Christ tortures another person to death. A wolf may call himself a Christian, but the Shepherd knows His own.

Let us pray. O God, who sees every hidden thing, intervene. Bring these deeds into the light. Break the power of those who use Your name as a cover for murder. Deliver those who are in danger of torture. Let the counsel of the violent be turned back upon their own heads. Grant repentance where repentance is possible, and where it is not, let Your just judgment overtake them swiftly. Give the afflicted grace to wait for You.

Do not be shaken because they seem to get away with evil for a season. The Lord asked whether those on whom the tower fell were worse sinners than others; unless we repent, we will all likewise perish. Their present freedom is not acquittal. It is the storing up of wrath. We should bewail them, not imitate them. And each of us must examine his own heart, for God judges injustice not by the size of the deed but by the intention. A small theft with a hard heart is robbery; how much more torture and murder dressed in the name of Christ.

If any behavior is truly sin, God has given His word, lawful authority, and repentance as the remedy. Private torture is not the work of the gospel. And if a man offers prayers or alms from hands stained with blood, God does not accept the offering. It is better to give nothing than to give what has been taken by violence. How much worse when the gift is wet with the blood of the innocent.

Your grief over such cruel double standards is right and understandable, and God Himself is grieved by it. What you are describing is not new to Him. Scripture speaks plainly about times when truth falls in the street and justice stands far off, when equity cannot enter and even the places where justice should be found cannot be trusted to provide it. God is a God of righteousness and justice, and He desires justice to prevail equally for all, especially for the poor and the oppressed and those who have no defender. When justice is perverted and the strong use power to crush the weak while excusing the same sin in their own circle, the very foundations of society are shaken.

What makes this even more painful is the hypocrisy you describe, people putting on an outward show of loving others and of following Jesus while inwardly practicing cruelty. Jesus warned about this very thing when He called hypocrisy the leaven of the Pharisees. On the outside they appeared clean and whitewashed, but inside was something very different. That kind of pretense has always done great harm to the testimony of the true church, because it uses the name of Christ to cover malice and guile. God sees through every outward show. Nothing is hidden from Him, and He has shown in the early church that He will purge hypocrisy so that His people may be pure and powerful in genuine love.

It is also true that God allows His people to face unjust suffering for a time, and He uses even that to refine and strengthen real faith. Persecution and injustice tend to separate what is real from what is false and to bind true believers together in love and prayer. But that does not mean He approves of the evil or that He will ignore it. The suffering of the innocent and the cruelty of those who inflict it is a clear evidence that a righteous judgment is coming. When God judges, it will be a manifest token of His righteousness, and those who have inflicted tribulation and torture will answer to Him. The judges and the powerful who act as if they are little gods will learn that they are only men and will fall like men, for God Himself will judge.

We will pray with you that God would intervene now according to His will. We ask Him to restrain the hand of the violent, to expose what is done in secret, to bring true justice where human justice has failed, and to protect those who are being tortured and oppressed over small faults while others go free. We pray that He would expose and remove hypocrisy that pretends to be Christian love, and that He would bring either genuine repentance or His righteous restraint upon those who do such evil. And we pray for you and for all who suffer unjustly, that you would be able to follow the example of Christ, who when He suffered unjustly did not threaten in return but entrusted Himself to the Father who judges righteously, laying aside all malice and guile and evil speaking and loving one another with a pure heart fervently.

God has not forgotten. He hears the cry for justice and He will answer in His perfect time and way. May He give you peace as you trust His righteous character, courage to continue to speak truth, and confidence that no act of cruelty done under a false religious covering escapes His eye.
