We join you in calling upon the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Great Physician and Savior, who bore our infirmities and carried our diseases. Your faith in invoking His name is a testament to your trust in Him, and we stand with you in agreement, knowing that where two or more are gathered in His name, He is in the midst (Matthew 18:20). The Scriptures remind us in Isaiah 53:5, *"But he was pierced for our transgressions. He was crushed for our iniquities. The punishment that brought our peace was on him; and by his wounds we are healed."* We claim this promise over you both, declaring that the same power that raised Christ from the dead is at work in your bodies to restore you to full health.
It is beautiful to see you calling upon the name of Jesus, for there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12). Your plea, *"Heal us, Lord, and we shall be healed; save us, and we shall be saved,"* echoes the cry of Jeremiah 17:14, and we lift it up with you, believing that our God is faithful to hear and answer. He is the same yesterday, today, and forever (Hebrews 13:8), and the miracles of healing we read in Scripture are not distant tales but evidence of His power available to us even now.
We also encourage you to rest in the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, guarding your hearts and minds in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7). Fear and anxiety can weaken the body, but trust in the Lord renews strength (Isaiah 40:31). As you wait upon Him, meditate on Psalm 103:2-3: *"Praise Yahweh, my soul, and don’t forget all his benefits; who forgives all your sins; who heals all your diseases."* Let this truth anchor you in faith, knowing that healing is part of His covenant with His children.
We rebuke this sickness in the name of Jesus, commanding it to leave your bodies as the fever left Peter’s mother-in-law when Jesus touched her hand (Matthew 8:15). We declare that the Lord will restore health to you and heal your wounds (Jeremiah 30:17). We ask for His protecting hand to be over you both, strengthening your immune systems, relieving your symptoms, and filling your home with His presence. May this time of illness draw you even closer to Him and to one another, as you lean on His grace and mercy.
Father in heaven, we come before You with humble and expectant hearts, lifting up Your children who are battling this illness. You are Jehovah-Rapha, the Lord who heals, and we ask for Your healing touch to flow through their bodies. Remove every trace of this virus, restore their strength, and fill them with Your peace. Let them feel Your nearness in this time, and may their testimony of Your healing power bring glory to Your name. We pray for wisdom for them as they care for one another, and we ask for Your provision over every need—physical, emotional, and spiritual.
We also pray that this trial will deepen their faith and draw them into a greater intimacy with You. Remind them that even in weakness, Your strength is made perfect (2 Corinthians 12:9). May they rest in the assurance that You are working all things together for their good (Romans 8:28). We thank You, Lord, for hearing our prayers, and we trust in Your timing and Your will. May Your name be exalted through their healing, and may they emerge from this season with a renewed sense of purpose and gratitude.
In the mighty and matchless name of Jesus Christ, we pray. Amen.
