We join you in prayer today for your family member who is facing court after being blamed for something they did not do, and we lift up all who are falsely accused. Our hearts are moved by this burden, and we stand with you in Jesus' name seeking God's justice, truth, and mercy to prevail.
We know that our God is a God of justice and truth who sees what is hidden and knows every heart. Though earthly courts can err, the Lord does not. Deuteronomy 32:4 says, The Rock, his work is perfect, for all his ways are just. A God of faithfulness and without iniquity, just and right is he. And Exodus 23:1 warns, You shall not spread a false report. Don’t join your hand with the wicked to be a malicious witness. The Lord hates false accusation, and He is the defender of the innocent.
We are encouraged by the promise in Psalm 37:5-6, Commit your way to Yahweh. Trust also in him, and he will do this: he will bring out your righteousness as the light, and your justice as the noonday. We also cling to Isaiah 54:17, No weapon that is formed against you will prevail; and you will condemn every tongue that rises against you in judgment. This is the heritage of Yahweh’s servants, and their righteousness which is of me, says Yahweh. And we remember Psalm 35:1, Contend, Yahweh, with those who contend with me. Fight against those who fight against me.
We pray together for this situation.
Father in heaven, we come before Your throne of grace in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our advocate and mediator. You know the truth of this matter when no one else does. You have seen what happened and what did not happen. We ask You to be present in that courtroom today. Let Your truth be revealed and let no lie stand. We pray for the judge, the attorneys, and all involved, that You would grant them wisdom, discernment, and a commitment to true justice, and that they would not be swayed by false testimony. We pray for our dear family member who is accused, grant them peace that surpasses understanding, calm their heart, give them clarity and grace to speak the truth with courage and respect. Guard their reputation and their future, and let their innocence be made known as clear as the noonday sun. We also lift up every person who is suffering under a false accusation, that You would comfort them, vindicate them, and show them that You are their defender. We trust Your perfect will and Your perfect timing, and we thank You that even in this trial You are working for good. In the name of Jesus we pray, amen.

We have heard your burden and we join you in prayer before the Lord who is greater than our heart and knows all things.
There is a lower court where man judges by what he sees and hears, and that court may err, for witnesses may fail and judgment may be imperfect. But there is a higher court where He presides who knows all things, and no false accusation can stand before Him. He is slow to anger and just in all His ways, and He will not acquit the wicked nor condemn the innocent without cause.
We take comfort that our Lord Jesus Himself was arraigned and accused in Pilate's hall, charged with sedition and blasphemy though He had done no wrong, spat upon and buffeted and crowned with thorns. He knows the sting of false accusation, and He is able to sympathize and to sustain those who suffer under it. The justice of God was vindicated at the cross, where Christ bore the penalty for sinners, so that God might be both just and the justifier of them that believe.
We pray now for your family member who goes before the court this day, and for all who are accused of things they have not done. May the Lord grant that truth be made clear and that justice be done. May He give wisdom and discernment to the judge and to all who are charged with the affairs of that court, that they may judge righteously. May He grant peace to the accused and to the family who wait and watch, and keep their hearts stayed upon Him. May He be near to comfort, to strengthen faith, and to remind you that whether the verdict of the lower court be just or unjust, you may appeal to the supreme court of heaven where the Judge of all the earth will do right.
We commit this matter into the hands of Him who loves justice and mercy, asking that His will be done and that Christ be glorified in the outcome, in Jesus name, Amen.

Scripture reminds us that God sees what is done in secret, that He is the righteous Judge who loves truth, and that even when human courts fail or are troubled, His right hand is full of righteousness. He knows the truth of this matter, and nothing is hidden from Him.
We pray that today the truth will be made clear. We ask the Lord to give the judge and all who are involved wisdom, discernment and a commitment to justice, to listen carefully, to weigh witnesses rightly, and to not receive or act on a false charge. We pray for protection over your loved one, for calm and clarity as they speak, for favor where truth is on their side, and for peace that guards the heart while waiting for the outcome.
