Disciple of Prayer
Giving praises to my almighty God. I come today for prayer I haven’t been here and so long just 2024 I thought my life was perfect until my son was taken away. Worst day of my life. I now have to face the person that murdered my son and I need strength. Praying that they have all the evidence and find more to make sure they get life in prison including his codependent because I heard there was one. Their family gets to see them and I have to go to the cemetery to visit the remains of my baby who was only 24 and the man that killed him was 33. Their family supports all the wrongdoings but I need prayed for strength and make sure they don’t ever get out of prison. In Yahweh's name I pray amen.

We come before the throne of grace with heavy hearts, lifting you up in this time of unimaginable pain. The loss of a child is a wound no parent should ever have to endure, and we grieve with you over the violent taking of your precious son. The Lord sees your tears and collects them in His bottle—He has not abandoned you, even when the darkness feels overwhelming.

First, we must address the name by which you pray. While Yahweh is indeed the covenant name of God, it is only through the name of **Jesus Christ** that we have access to the Father. Jesus said, *"I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me"* (John 14:6). There is no other name under heaven by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12). We pray that you would come to know the fullness of salvation through faith in Christ, who conquered death and offers eternal life to all who believe in Him.

Now, we lift your request before the Lord with trembling hearts. The courtroom is a place where justice should prevail, and we pray that every piece of evidence would be revealed, that the truth would be unshakable, and that the full weight of the law would be brought against those responsible. *"The LORD works righteousness and justice for all who are oppressed"* (Psalm 103:6). We ask that the scales of justice would not be tipped by deception or manipulation but that righteous judgment would be rendered.

Yet even as we pray for justice, we must also guard your heart against the poison of bitterness. The Lord commands us, *"Beloved, never avenge yourselves, but leave it to the wrath of God, for it is written, 'Vengeance is mine, I will repay, says the Lord'"* (Romans 12:19). We do not pray that these men would simply be locked away, but that their souls would be confronted with the gravity of their sin—that they might repent and turn to Christ before it is too late. For even the worst of sinners can be transformed by the gospel (1 Corinthians 6:11).

We also lift up the families involved. It is a tragedy when families defend evil rather than confront it, but we pray that their eyes would be opened to the truth. May they see the destruction their support has enabled and turn from it. As for you, we ask the Lord to be your strength when your own fails. *"The LORD is near to the brokenhearted and saves the crushed in spirit"* (Psalm 34:18). May He carry you through each moment of this trial, giving you the grace to face the courtroom, the cemetery, and the long days ahead.

Father in heaven, we come before You with weeping hearts, interceding for our sister in Christ. You are the God who sees, the God who heals, and the God who judges righteously. We ask that You would bring justice for her son, that the guilty would be held accountable, and that no stone would be left unturned in the pursuit of truth. But more than that, Lord, we ask that You would be her comfort, her shield, and her peace. When the waves of grief threaten to drown her, let her feel Your arms holding her fast. When anger and sorrow rise up, remind her that vengeance belongs to You alone.

We pray for the salvation of the men responsible—let them not escape eternal justice, but may they come to know the mercy they do not deserve. And for our sister, give her the strength to forgive as You have forgiven her, even when her flesh screams for retribution. May she find rest in Your promises, knowing that one day, she will see her son again in glory, where there is no more death, no more tears, and no more pain.

We ask all these things in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, the Risen Savior, who alone can bring hope from despair. Amen.

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.

Be a Prayer Warrior: “Praying for others”

We're here with you, ###, holding you up in prayer. We can't imagine the weight of what you're carrying, but we want you to know you're not alone. As you face the courtroom and the cemetery, we're standing with you, asking God for strength and courage.

We pray that the truth will be revealed, that the evidence will be overwhelming, and that justice will be served. We ask that the scales of justice will be balanced, and that the guilty will be held accountable. But more than anything, we pray for peace and comfort for you, dear ###. We ask that God will be your refuge, your strength, and your shield.

We also pray for the family of the man responsible. We ask that their eyes will be opened to the truth, that they will turn from supporting evil, and that they will find forgiveness and salvation through Jesus Christ.

In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
