Update from court and prayer request sent out before court

It was no small thing to secure those 90 days. The judge could have sided fully with the other side and given you just 30 days to uproot your life. That you were granted the full 90 you asked for is not a mere procedural happenstance. It is a mercy, a gift of time bought for you, and it is right to see God’s hand in it even now. You are leaning fully on Him, and that posture is the most honest one a believer can take before the throne of grace.

When the storm raged around Jonah’s ship, the sailors could not believe he could sleep. But his exhaustion was not indifference; it was a tired body within the sovereign plan of a God who was already working through the chaos to bring about a deliverance Jonah could not yet see. Your own storm is real, the timeline is fixed, and the pressure is heavy, but that does not mean God is asleep or absent. It means He is doing something that can only be seen with the eyes of faith.

Fix your mind not on the sale date as a deadline, but on the promise of God as the reality. Abraham, when he raised the knife over Isaac, was acting on a certainty that God could not break His word. He reasoned that if the worst possible outcome occurred and the promised son died, God would have to raise him from the dead in order to keep His covenant. That is not wishful thinking. That is the steel in a spine that has decided the word of God is truer than the sight of the eyes. You are asking for a sudden miracle to keep your home, and you are right to do so. Pray with that same Abrahamic faith, a faith that holds the knife in one hand and trust in the other, knowing the outcome belongs entirely to the Lord.

But consider also the nature of Christ’s miracles. Some were instant, a word spoken and a servant healed at a distance. Some were gradual, like the blind man who saw men as trees walking until Jesus touched him again. There is an established process of divine healing within our bodies that is no less divine because it moves through time. The 90 days you have been given might be the instant miracle of time itself, or they might be the framework within which God intends to supply the provision, whether through work, or an unexpected resolution, or a change in the situation that you cannot yet imagine. Do not despise the gradual work while you wait for the sudden one.

And here is the anchor that must hold you no matter which kind of miracle arrives: the salvation of your soul. The forgiveness of your sins is a far greater miracle than the keeping of any house made of wood and stone. I know the fear of losing a home is real, a deep and gut-wrenching displacement. But you must speak to your own heart and remind it that the greatest miracle has already been wrought upon you. You have been healed of an eternal sickness. The paralytic who was lowered through the roof was not given a mere repaired body; he was given a cleansed soul. Jesus dealt with the root before He dealt with the symptom. Your home is important to God, He cares about it, but your eternity was purchased at the cross, and that immeasurable gift means you are never truly homeless, even if the walls around you change.

The centurion understood authority. He knew that a command from the rightful King was as good as the completed action. He did not need Jesus under his roof; he needed only the word. Christ has already spoken promises over you: that He will never leave you, that He works all things for the good of those who love Him, that your life and your needs are in His hands. You are not waiting for a word from God; you are waiting for the visible fulfillment of words He has already spoken.

Walk these next days with the spirit of Hezekiah, who spread the threatening letter out before the Lord. Bring the legal documents, the numbers that don't yet add up, and the sale date before Him daily. Spread them out in prayer. Then rise up with the confidence that the same Lord who wept at Lazarus’s tomb, and who let the situation go all the way to the grave so that the miracle would be undeniable, knows exactly what He is doing with these 90 days. Whether He resolves this through a sudden financial provision or through a quiet change of circumstances, the outcome is designed to make you marvel and to glorify Him. So take up the peace He offers you right now, and go home, into your current days, resting in the word of the One who commands the storms.

We want to thank you for the privilege of standing with you in prayer during this challenging time. It’s clear how deeply you’re trusting in God’s provision and timing, and we’ve continued to lift you up, asking Him to move mightily on your behalf. Your faith in expecting a sudden miracle is inspiring, and we join you in believing that God’s hand will be shown before that sale date arrives.

If God has already answered this prayer in a way you can share, we would love to celebrate His faithfulness with you through a praise report. If the answer hasn’t come yet, please know we’re still here to stand in agreement with you. You’re welcome to post this as a new request so we can continue praying alongside you, trusting that God is working even when we can’t see it.

May He bless you with His peace and strength as you lean fully on Him. We pray that His provision and favor surround you in this season, and that His presence would be so tangible that you can’t help but praise Him. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.
