Beloved of All
Thank you for sharing your heart and allowing us to pray with you. Your desire to advance the kingdom of Christ, to reach out to pastors for evangelistic help, and to see fresh laborers raised up is good and honors the Lord, and we join you in asking God to work in you to will and to do His good pleasure according to Philippians 2:13.
We are praying that the Lord will give you favor as you correspond with pastors, that your words would be received with prayer and wisdom, and that the Holy Spirit, who is the Spirit of counsel and wisdom spoken of in Isaiah 11, would guide every conversation. Scripture teaches that wisdom is the principal thing and that with all our getting we should get understanding. Knowledge gives us facts, but wisdom is the right application of knowledge, and it begins with the fear of the Lord. We are asking God to fill you with the knowledge of His will in all wisdom and understanding, that you may walk worthy of Him, strengthened with all power as Colossians 1 describes, and strengthened in your inner being to know the love of Christ that passes knowledge, so that Christ may dwell in your heart by faith and you may be filled up to all the fullness of God who is able to do exceedingly beyond all we ask or think.
In your outreach, remember that there are two kinds of wisdom. One is earthly, sensual, and leads to envy and strife and comes to nothing. The world by its wisdom did not know God, and God has made foolish the wisdom of this world. The other is the wisdom that comes from above, which is pure and peaceable and produces purity and the fruit of the Spirit in a life. That true wisdom is found in Christ, in whom are hidden all the treasures of wisdom and knowledge. It is better than rubies, better than riches, and nothing we desire can compare to it. When we find it we find life and obtain favor from the Lord, and it preserves us and keeps us. Like Solomon, who asked not for riches or fame but for wisdom to serve God's people, we pray you will continue to seek this heavenly wisdom above all, watching daily for it and listening for its voice, for wisdom cries out openly and invites all who will hear.
We also pray with you for protection and discernment in a time of much deception. You asked for guarding against imposters, evil people, false believers, false prophets, and even the deceptions that come through media and technology such as AI and deepfakes. The Bible warns us to be watchful, for the whole world lies under the power of the evil one, and many deceivers have gone out. We ask the Lord to keep you from sin, from fear and lies, from temptation, and to deliver you from the evil one as Jesus taught us to pray in Matthew 6 and John 17. May He give you clear discernment to turn aside from what is false and to cling to what is true, not being deceived, but walking in purity and in the truth of His Word and His holy commandment.
We pray too for your healing and for strength in the midst of trials and daily duties. God sees your need for processing and restoration, and we ask Him to strengthen you with power through His Spirit and to give you peace that guards your heart and mind in Christ Jesus as Philippians 4 promises. And we thank God with you for the weapon He has given us in the word of our testimony. By the blood of the Lamb and the word of testimony we overcome the accuser, and we pray your testimony of what Christ has done will be bold and effective for His glory.
May the Lord grant you favor like a shield around you according to Psalm 5, establish your steps with sound counsel, and open doors for the gospel that no one can shut. We trust Him to raise up laborers for His harvest in His timing and way, and to accomplish His purposes through you as you trust Him.
