Continue to pray for me

Disciple of Prayer
Please keep me and my family lifted in prayers. We ask God in the name of Jesus to fight this battle for me with the college that denied to reinstate me to repeat the last class. I have an attorney helping to fight this matter. The teen kids are needing to be covered by the blood of Jesus, so much peer pressure and mental health issues. Rumors are out about my husband infidelity I don't know what to do because of his past history of it.

We hear your cry for help and stand with you in fervent prayer, lifting you and your family before the throne of grace. We come together in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, the only name by which we can approach God and find salvation (Acts 4:12). It is through His blood alone that we have redemption, forgiveness, and victory over every battle (Ephesians 1:7). Let us pray:

Heavenly Father, we come before You with heavy hearts, seeking Your divine intervention in every area of this family’s life. Lord, we ask that You fight this battle with the college on behalf of Your child. You are the God who parts seas, shuts the mouths of lions, and turns the hearts of kings wherever You will (Proverbs 21:1). We declare that no weapon formed against this family shall prosper, and every tongue that rises against them in judgment will be condemned (Isaiah 54:17). Father, we ask that You move mightily in this situation, softening hearts, opening doors, and granting favor where there has been denial. Let Your justice prevail, and may Your will be done in this matter.

We also lift up these precious teenagers, Lord. The pressures of this world are heavy, and the enemy seeks to steal, kill, and destroy (John 10:10). But You came that they might have life, and life abundantly. We plead the blood of Jesus over them, covering their minds, hearts, and spirits. Protect them from the lies of the enemy, from the snares of peer pressure, and from the darkness that seeks to overtake them. Fill them with Your peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7), and let them know that they are fearfully and wonderfully made in Your image (Psalm 139:14). Surround them with godly friends and mentors who will speak life and truth into them. Strengthen their mental and emotional health, Lord, and let them find their identity and worth in You alone.

Father, we must address the pain and betrayal that has entered this marriage. Scripture is clear that marriage is a sacred covenant, a reflection of Christ’s relationship with His church (Ephesians 5:22-33). Infidelity is a grievous sin that wounds deeply, and we rebuke the spirit of unfaithfulness in the name of Jesus. We declare that the enemy has no place in this marriage, and we command every lie, every temptation, and every ungodly soul tie to be broken now. If these rumors are true, we pray that Your conviction would fall upon this husband, leading him to genuine repentance, transparency, and a turning away from sin. If they are false, we ask that You expose the truth and bring healing to this wife’s heart. Either way, Lord, we ask that You restore what has been broken. Heal the wounds, mend the trust, and let Your love cover this marriage. We pray for a spirit of humility, forgiveness, and reconciliation, but we also acknowledge that true repentance must come first. Give this wife wisdom, discernment, and strength to stand firm in Your truth, whether that means restoration or walking away if the sin continues unrepentantly (Matthew 19:9).

We also want to gently remind you, dear sister, that your hope and trust must ultimately be in the Lord. It is easy to place our faith in attorneys, in our own efforts, or even in the hope of restoration with a spouse, but our eyes must remain fixed on Jesus, the author and perfecter of our faith (Hebrews 12:2). He is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble (Psalm 46:1). We encourage you to seek godly counsel, whether through your church, a trusted pastor, or a biblical counselor, to help navigate these trials. You do not have to walk this path alone.

Finally, we declare over this family that the Lord is their shepherd, and they shall not want (Psalm 23:1). He will lead them beside still waters, restore their souls, and guide them in paths of righteousness for His name’s sake. Even though they walk through the valley of the shadow of death, they will fear no evil, for God is with them. His rod and His staff, they comfort them. We pray that you would feel His presence in a tangible way, that you would know He is fighting for you, and that He will never leave you nor forsake you (Hebrews 13:5).

Continue to stand on God’s promises, hold fast to His word, and trust in His perfect timing. The battle is not yours, but the Lord’s (2 Chronicles 20:15). We stand with you in prayer, believing that God will bring beauty from ashes and turn your mourning into dancing (Psalm 30:11). May His peace guard your hearts and minds in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7). Amen.

We have been lifting you and your family in prayer since we read your request, and we hear how heavy this season is with so much coming at once.

The college situation sounds exhausting, especially when you are so close to finishing that last class. We are glad you have an attorney walking with you on it. One steady next step is to let that process do its work, keep all communication in writing and in one place for your attorney, and give yourself permission to rest from trying to fight it on every front at once. We are asking God to give you wisdom and favor and to guard your peace while you wait.

We also hear your heart for your teens. Peer pressure and mental health struggles can feel overwhelming for them and for you as their parent. Alongside prayer, it helps to have a trusted professional to talk with, so if they are showing signs of anxiety, depression, or distress, we gently encourage reaching out to their doctor, school counselor, or a Christian counselor who can support them and you. Keeping a simple, regular time to listen without fixing can also help them feel safer to open up.

And the rumors about your husband must be especially painful given his past history. You do not have to sort that alone or act quickly on what others are saying. A confidential conversation with a wise pastor or counselor can help you get clarity and decide what to ask and how to proceed.

Father, we bring this family to You in Jesus' name. Fight for them where they feel powerless, cover the teens with Your protection and peace, and give this wife wisdom, discernment and steady support for the days ahead. Amen.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.
Matthew 6:33: But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

We have heard your cry and we have carried you and your household before the throne of grace in the name of Jesus Christ, through whom alone we have access to the Father and salvation.

There is hope for the fallen and the pressed down, for Peter was down but he was soon up again, and his story is rather his restoration than his fall. The Lord Jesus had prayed for him in private, and that prayer was made effectual by a look from the Lord which severed Peter from the crowd and brought him to go out and weep bitterly. So we pray that the same Lord who lives to intercede for His people will uplift you in this trial with the college. We ask God to grant wisdom and integrity to all who have authority in this matter, and to your attorney as he seeks what is just and right, and to give you peace to trust the Lord's providence whether the door is opened to repeat the class or He directs your steps another way.

For your teen children we pray earnestly that they may be covered by the precious blood of the Lamb, for there is no other covering for sin and no other hope for the soul. As the Lamb He proved His love by His wounds and blood, and as the Lamb He draws hearts to love Him. We ask the Lord to guard their minds and hearts against peer pressure and heaviness of spirit, to keep them from wandering, and to bring them into the peace and rest that is found in Christ alone. May they be turned again to their first love and earliest hope, and may the Lord keep them near Himself.

Concerning your marriage, we hear the pain of rumors and the wound of past unfaithfulness, and we do not take such things lightly. Marriage is not a light affinity but a covenant wherein husband and wife become one, cemented by mutual love and choice and fidelity. It is scarcely a true marriage where that oneness is broken. We pray that the Lord will bring all truth into the light, restrain what is evil, and work repentance where there is sin and healing where there is hurt. We ask God to establish your home in truth and faithfulness according to His holy design, that marriage be honored as the lifelong covenant of one man and one woman, with love and purity belonging within it. Seek godly counsel together, and if there has been sin, seek honest confession and restoration before the Lord, for He is able to restore those who have fallen and to make them better Christians ever afterwards.

We pray that Christ Himself will grant you such a restoration that you may be strengthened to strengthen others, and that your household may know the blessedness of those called to the marriage supper of the Lamb. We will continue to keep you and your family lifted in prayer, asking the Lord to fight for you, to keep you, and to cause His face to shine upon you for Jesus sake.

We are lifting you and your family before the Lord in prayer and we thank you for sharing this burden so openly.

We pray that God in the name of Jesus will give you peace and wisdom as you face this battle with the college. We ask Him to guide your attorney, to grant favor where it is right, and to help you accept His leading even in disappointment. We pray that you will know His presence and provision as you trust Him with this outcome, and that He will open the right doors for your future.

We are praying for your teenagers. We ask the Lord to protect their minds and hearts, to guard them from harmful peer pressure, and to bring healing where there is anxiety and mental distress. We pray that the blood of Jesus, shed for their salvation and hope, would be their confidence and covering, and that they would grow in faith, truth, and strength. We pray you will have wisdom to shepherd them, to listen well, to speak truth in love, and to seek godly counsel and sound help for their mental health needs within your church and community.

We are also praying for your marriage. Rumors and a painful history of infidelity bring deep hurt and confusion, and we grieve with you in this. God calls marriage to be a lifelong covenant between one man and one woman, marked by faithfulness, and He calls both husband and wife to truth and purity. We pray that God will bring all that is hidden into the light, that truth will be known, and that both you and your husband will walk in honesty and repentance where it is needed. We encourage you not to walk through this alone. Please seek wise, trusted pastoral counsel together and separately, seek accountability, and pursue open and honest communication. If sin has occurred, we pray for genuine repentance, forgiveness through Christ, and the hard work of restoration. If rumors are false, we pray for vindication, healing of trust, and protection from gossip.

We pray for you personally, for strength and discernment in this season. May the Lord guard your heart from anxiety and fear, remind you daily that your hope is in Jesus Christ alone, and give you courage to take the next faithful step. We ask Him to surround your home with His peace, to fight for you, and to draw each member of your family closer to Himself.

We will continue to keep you and your family in prayer. If you have a faithful pastor or mature believers nearby, we encourage you to invite them to walk closely with you through these matters for ongoing support and prayer.
