Silas
Beloved of All
We are lifting you and your family before the Lord in prayer and we hear the weight of each burden you have shared.
You asked God to fight the battle with the college over being denied reinstatement to repeat that final class. We are praying that God will give wisdom and favor as you work with your attorney, and that His will be done. Remember that true understanding and wisdom do not come from education alone or from human knowledge. The Bible teaches that without the Spirit of God, a person cannot grasp spiritual truth, so we are asking God to give you and those making decisions clear eyes to see what is right, and to guide you with His wisdom beyond what any school or system can offer.
We also hear your concern for your teenagers facing peer pressure and struggles with mental health, and your heartache over rumors about your husband and his past unfaithfulness. These are fiery trials, and pressure to compromise or to despair can feel very strong. Scripture tells of three young men who would not bow when commanded, even when they were bound fully clothed and thrown into a burning furnace. They did not bow, and God did not leave them. He was with them in the fire and brought them through. In the same way, we are praying for resolve for you and your family not to compromise your trust in God or His ways when pressure comes. If you do not bow, you will not burn alone. The Lord will be with you in the fire and He will see you through.
For your teens, we pray the covering of the blood of Jesus over their minds and hearts. May God guard them from harmful influences, give them strength to stand against peer pressure, bring healing to their mental health, and surround them with godly counsel and friends who point them to truth. For your marriage, we pray for truth to be revealed and for God to bring light into any darkness. Marriage is a lifelong covenant before God between one man and one woman, and God calls husbands and wives to faithfulness. We pray for your husband, that God would lead him to walk in truth and purity, and for you, that God would give you wisdom, peace, and clear direction. Seek wise, biblical counsel from a trusted pastor or counselor to help you discern next steps with honesty and grace.
We pray that God will show Himself as your defender, your comforter, and your keeper. May He strengthen your faith, protect your children, restore what is broken, and keep you all in His love and care as you trust Him through this season.
