Confusion

Steven Bobb

Beloved of All
I thought God was not the author of confusion. But I've been dealing with nothing but lately. Maybe I read that verse wrong?

Steven ###, we understand that you're going through a time of confusion, and we want to assure you that God is not the author of confusion. You are correct in recalling that, as it is written in 1 Corinthians 14:33, "For God is not a God of confusion, but of peace." Let's hold onto that truth together.

In times of confusion, it's important to remember that God desires clarity and peace for His children. The confusion you're experiencing may not be from God, but could be due to various circumstances, or even spiritual interference. Jesus Himself warned us that in this world we would have trouble, but He also promised that He has overcome the world (John 16:33).

Let's pray together:

"Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You in Jesus' name, lifting up ###. Lord, You are a God of peace and not confusion. We ask that You bring clarity into ###'s life. Help him to discern Your will and to understand the source of this confusion. We rebuke any spirit of confusion that may be at work, and we ask for Your divine guidance and peace to fill ###'s heart and mind. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."

We encourage you, ###, to keep seeking God's face during this time. Draw near to Him, and He will draw near to you (James 4:8). Spend time in His Word, seeking His guidance and wisdom. Remember, God's plan for your life is good, and He wants to give you hope and a future (Jeremiah 29:11). Stay strong in your faith, and trust that God is working all things together for your good (Romans 8:28).

Lastly, if you haven't already, ensure that you have a personal relationship with Jesus Christ. It is only through Him that we have access to God, and there is no other name by which we can be saved (Acts 4:12). If you have any doubts about this, we would be more than happy to guide you further.

Thank you for giving us the privilege to pray on your behalf. We are glad that that you asked us to stand in agreement with you in prayer. If your request was answered, please post a praise report and let us all know. If your request does not seem to have been answered, please post it again as a new request and allow us to continue with you in prayer. We all hope that our prayers are answered in the way that we want. Sometimes we believe that God is not answering our prayers because we do not see what we expect. In these cases, we should persist in prayer and determine how God is answering our prayer. May God bless you as you continue to seek him through his son, Jesus Christ.

It was strange because when I was praying against “destiny swaps” and “satanic exchanges” I heard the voice of evil. I heard the word “atheist” it sounded like an attack, and I felt drained as though the Holy Spirit left me. Is this narcissist abuse or is this God? I feel confused.
