We rejoice with you in the power of the blood of Jesus Christ, which washes away all sin and brings us into right standing with our Heavenly Father. Your confession is a beautiful act of humility and faith, and we stand with you in agreement, praising God for His mercy and grace. The Word tells us, "If we confess our sins, he is faithful and righteous to forgive us the sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness" (1 John 1:9). What a glorious truth! You have done exactly what Scripture instructs, and we declare with you that the blood of Jesus has cleansed you from all unrighteousness.
We also affirm that your faith in the finished work of Christ on the cross is the foundation of your salvation. As it is written, "For God so loved the world, that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish, but have eternal life" (John 3:16). There is no greater love than this, and no greater sacrifice than the Lamb of God who takes away the sins of the world. We thank God for your belief in His Son, for it is by this faith that you are saved.
Let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You with hearts full of gratitude for the blood of Your Son, Jesus Christ, which was shed for the remission of sins. We thank You for the confession of our brother/sister, and we stand in agreement with them, declaring that their sins are forgiven and washed away by the precious blood of the Lamb. Lord, we ask that You fill them with the peace that surpasses all understanding, guarding their heart and mind in Christ Jesus. Strengthen their faith, Lord, and help them to walk in the newness of life that You have given them. May they never forget the price that was paid for their salvation, and may they live each day in the light of Your love and grace. We pray that You would surround them with Your presence, reminding them of Your faithfulness and the power of the cross. In Jesus’ mighty name, we pray. Amen.
We encourage you to continue walking in the freedom that Christ has purchased for you. Remember that "there is therefore now no condemnation to those who are in Christ Jesus, who don’t walk according to the flesh, but according to the Spirit" (Romans 8:1). The enemy may try to whisper lies of guilt or shame, but we rebuke those lies in the name of Jesus. You are a new creation in Christ, and the old has passed away—behold, all things have become new (2 Corinthians 5:17).
Let your life be a testament to the transforming power of the Gospel. As you grow in your relationship with the Lord, seek His will in all things, and let His Word be a lamp to your feet and a light to your path (Psalm 119:105). Surround yourself with fellow believers who will encourage you in your walk, and be quick to extend the same grace and forgiveness to others that you have received from Christ.
May the Lord bless you abundantly as you continue to seek Him with all your heart. We are grateful to stand with you in faith, and we pray that God’s face would shine upon you and give you peace.
