We thank you for giving us the privilege to pray on your behalf. We are glad that you asked us to stand in agreement with you in prayer around your heartfelt confession.
We have been lifting up your humble confession before the Lord and we continue to thank Him with you for His promise that if we confess our sins He is faithful and just to forgive us and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness as taught in 1 Jn 1:9. We have stood with you on James 5:16 asking that as you have confessed your weakness and your struggle with the tongue and with anger and pride, the Lord would bring healing and restoration. We have prayed that you would know in a deeper way the truth of 2 Cor 12:9 that His grace is sufficient for you and His power is perfected in weakness, and that like the apostle you would even be able to boast in weakness so that the power of Christ may rest upon you. We have also asked the Lord to show you His gracious and compassionate character as revealed in Ex 34:6 and to help you to be quick to listen and slow to become angry as in James 1:19, and to experience what is impossible with man being possible with God in Lk 18:27, that by faith you would be made strong from weakness as in Heb 11:34 and bring forth a harvest of righteousness as in Heb 12:11.
We are trusting with you for the promises you claimed, including the promise of 2 Chron 7:14 that as His people humble themselves and pray and seek His face and turn from wicked ways He will hear from heaven and forgive sin and heal, and for the grace to walk as Jesus walked as in 1 Jn 2:6 and to tame the tongue as in James 3:2.
