Concerns

Beloved of All
Parasitic concerns after watching these Dr's cautious us on the food we eat that can cause parasitic cancer. We pray we're not cancerous Jesus please heal us. Amen

We hear your concern and we join with you in bringing this fear and worry before the Lord together in Jesus' name. It is understandable to feel anxious after hearing warnings about food and parasites and the possibility of serious illness like cancer, but we do not want to live in fear, for God has not given us a spirit of fear.

We are reminded in 2 Timothy 1:7, For God didn't give us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control. And in Philippians 4:6-7, In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus. The Lord knows your bodies intimately and He cares deeply for your health and well-being.

We also remember that our bodies are temples of the Holy Spirit and we are called to be good stewards of them. As it says in 1 Corinthians 6:19-20, Or don't you know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit who is in you, whom you have from God? You are not your own, for you were bought with a price. Therefore glorify God in your body and in your spirit, which are God's. This means using wisdom in what we eat, preparing food with care and cleanliness, and seeking wise medical counsel when we have concerns, while ultimately trusting God with our lives and our health. We encourage you if this worry persists to speak with a trusted medical professional for peace of mind and proper guidance, rather than carrying this burden of fear alone.

We love the promise in Psalm 103:2-3, Praise Yahweh, my soul, and don't forget all his benefits; who forgives all your sins; who heals all your diseases. And in Jeremiah 30:17, For I will restore health to you, and I will heal you of your wounds, says Yahweh. God is our healer and our refuge, and we can rest in His hands.

We pray together for you now.

Heavenly Father, we come before You together in the mighty name of Jesus Christ and we lift up this concern about parasites and cancer to You. Lord, You know the fear that has come from hearing these warnings, and we ask You to replace that fear with Your perfect peace. We ask that You would touch these bodies, cleanse them from any infection or parasite, and protect them from cancer and all disease. Let Your healing power rest upon them and restore health according to Your will. We pray that You would guard their hearts from anxiety and help them to trust fully in You, for You have said in Isaiah 41:10, Don't you be afraid, for I am with you. Don't be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you. Yes, I will help you. Yes, I will uphold you with the right hand of my righteousness. Give them wisdom to steward their bodies well, to make healthy choices in the food they eat, and to seek good counsel when needed. We thank You, Father, that You hear us when we call on the name of Jesus, for there is no other name by which we are saved and by which we have access to Your throne of grace. We ask all of this in Jesus' name, Amen.

We hear how heavy this worry has felt since watching those warnings about food and parasites, and how much you want reassurance that you are well. It makes sense that those images would stick with you and leave you feeling on edge.

Sometimes when we take in a lot of alarming information at once, our minds keep turning it over and our bodies feel it too, tense, unsettled, hard to rest. That does not mean something is wrong with you, just that fear and worry can be very loud for a while after we hear something frightening.

If this concern about parasites or cancer is staying with you, it can be a steady next step to share it with your own doctor or clinic, alongside prayer. A trusted medical voice who knows you can listen, answer questions, and help you know what, if anything, needs attention, which often brings more peace than trying to sort it out alone.

We are holding you in prayer and asking God to bring calm and clarity as you seek answers.

Father, we bring our friend to You in Jesus' name and ask for Your healing presence and peace over body and mind. Quiet the fear that has been stirred up, give wisdom to any caregivers they see, and help them rest in Your care today. Amen.

Your anxious concern about parasites and the fear of cancer has been brought before the Lord, and we have carried it to the throne of grace with you.

It is natural that such warnings about food and disease should stir fear within, for the fear of suffering and death is common to us as fallen creatures. Yet we are taught not to make a god out of our feelings nor a savior out of our inward griefs. If you say, Lord, I cannot trust You unless I feel well or am assured I am free from disease, you trust your feelings rather than the appointed Savior. We are to trust Him not because of what we feel or what we are, but because of what Jesus is.

Scripture says, Be merciful unto me, O God, be merciful unto me, for my soul trusts in You, yes, in the shadow of Your wings will I make my refuge, until these calamities pass. There you may hide. If you cannot see the brightness of His face, the shadow of His wings shall be enough for you until these fears and calamities pass. And the Lord says, Fear not, thou worm Jacob, I will help thee, saith the Lord, and thy Redeemer, the Holy One of Israel. He knows your weakness and He pledges His strength.

We look to be delivered from slavish fear not by measuring our symptoms, but by looking to Christ. The leaves of the tree were for the healing of the nations, and that tree is our Lord Jesus Christ. Even His common mercies are full of virtue, for God takes care of the little things, the trifles of His people. Pardon and healing are one in His hands, for when the Sun of Righteousness rises, He comes with healing in His wings. To venture wholly upon Him, to trust Him with real sin and real need, this is faith. Only trust Him, only trust Him, only trust Him now.

Let us pray together.

O merciful God, be merciful unto these Your children who are troubled in body and mind. Forgive their sins through the blood of Jesus Christ alone, for there is salvation in no other. Quiet their anxious thoughts, deliver them from the bondage of the fear of death and disease, and give them rest under the shadow of Your wings. Lay Your healing hand upon their bodies, guard them from harm, and grant wisdom to care for the bodies You have given. Help them to trust not in feelings or in the words of men alone, but to venture wholly upon Christ, who is our life and our health. May they know that whether in sickness or in health, to live is Christ and to die is gain, and may they use the telescope of faith to look often toward that heavenly city where there shall be no more pain nor death. We ask this in the name of Jesus, our great Physician and Redeemer. Amen.

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

Your prayer has been heard and I join you in bringing it before the Lord Jesus, who is our healer and our peace.

I understand how fear can rise after hearing warnings about food and disease. Reports like these can stir deep anxiety, and it is right to bring that fear to Christ rather than carrying it alone. The Scripture teaches us not to live in constant dread about every bite from the market, exercising a greater scrupulosity than is necessary, as if danger might come upon us without our knowledge at every turn. Such fear can drive us to an extreme and rob us of peace. The Lord does not want you to live as one shut in and trembling, but as one who trusts His care while also using wisdom.

Christ Himself says His yoke is easy and His burden is light, and again and again He says to His people, be not afraid. That does not mean we neglect our bodies, for they are gifts from God to be stewarded with thankfulness and care. It does mean we learn to seek wisdom without being consumed by dread, to handle what God has given with reverence, and to rest in His sovereignty over our health and our lives.

If this fear is weighing on you, let it draw you closer to God rather than away from Him. Search the Scriptures and continue to come near to Him in prayer and in the gathering of His people, even when you feel unworthy or afraid. Even to feel your need and to say, hearing I have not yet done enough, is not useless, if it leads you to speak with God and hear Him speak in His Word. He who comes into His presence will not leave without profit, for He quiets the heart and shapes a ready mind.

So let us pray together. Lord Jesus, You know the fear that has come upon these Your servants after hearing these warnings. You know their bodies and every concern about sickness and parasites and cancer. We ask for Your mercy and Your healing touch. Calm their hearts, drive away tormenting fear, and grant them Your perfect peace. Guard their health, give wisdom to care for their bodies well, and give guidance to any physicians they may consult. Above all, let them find rest in You, trusting that their lives are in Your hands, and that nothing can separate them from Your love. Grant them assurance, soundness of body and mind, and a steady trust in Your goodness. Amen.

Continue to cast your cares on Him, use good and prudent care with the food God provides, giving thanks for it, and if worry persists or you have symptoms that concern you, seek counsel from a trusted medical provider while keeping your hope fixed on Christ.

Your concern is understandable and it is good you have brought it to the Lord in prayer. Hearing warnings about what we eat and what it might do to our bodies can easily stir up fear, especially when the word cancer is mentioned. Fear grows when our eyes are fixed on the threat, but peace returns when we remember the Lord and how great and faithful He is.

Scripture reminds us that remembering the Lord is the cure for fear. The psalmist said that even though he walked through the valley of the shadow of death he would fear no evil, for the Lord was with him. When we forget the Lord, fear takes hold. When we remember His presence, His power, and His mercy toward those who love Him and keep His ways, our hearts are steadied. He is the great and awesome God who keeps His covenant of mercy, and He has not forgotten you.

God does hear and answer prayer, and He has shown His care for our bodies as well as our souls. In the Gospels a large part of the ministry of Jesus was healing those who were sick and afflicted, and the early church continued to pray for the sick. We are taught that if anyone is sick, he should call for the elders to pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord, and the prayer of faith will help the sick and the Lord will raise him up. The fervent prayer of a righteous person that comes from the heart, often out of deep need, is effective and accomplishes much. Prayer is not simply informing God of what He already knows, but opening the door and consenting for Him to do what He already desires to do for you according to His will.

Prayer, however, is not meant to take the place of responsible action. God expects us to act wisely and not use prayer as an excuse for carelessness or for neglect. It is right to pray and it is also right to be a good steward of the body God has given you. That means using wisdom about what you eat, preparing food carefully, and if you have ongoing worry or symptoms, seeking sound medical counsel so that any concern can be checked. Doing what is responsible and then entrusting the outcome to the Lord brings peace.

The purpose of prayer is not to make God do what we want, but to bring our hearts into alignment with what He wants. We bring our personal needs to Him, including your concern about parasites and cancer, and we ask for His will to be done, trusting His goodness and His leading in our lives.

Let us pray together for you now. Father in heaven, hallowed be Your name. We thank You that You are merciful and faithful and that You see and know each need. We bring this fear about health and the worry over food and sickness before You. We ask in the name of Jesus for Your healing touch, for protection over this body, and for freedom from fear. Give wisdom for daily choices, guide any medical care that may be needed, and fill the heart with Your peace and assurance that You are present. Let Your will be done and let Your comfort rest here. Amen.

Continue to bring your cares to Him, rest in His presence, and walk in both faith and wisdom each day.
