We have heard your cry and we join with you in bringing this heavy burden before the Lord in Jesus' mighty name, for it is through Him alone we have access to the Father and it is in His name that justice and mercy meet.
We are so sorry for all you have endured in that apartment, the lack of electrical safety, the illness that followed, the ongoing skin suffering, the financial loss from the security deposit and repair costs you should not have had to bear, the cost of alternative shower facilities, and the threats and inappropriate actions. The Lord sees what has been done in secret and what has been left unresolved for these months, and He is a God of perfect justice and compassion. He does not overlook the suffering of His people nor the withholding of what is rightfully owed.
The scripture reminds us, He is the Rock, his work is perfect, for all his ways are just. A God of faithfulness and without iniquity, just and right is he. Deuteronomy 32:4. And again, Learn to do well. Seek justice. Relieve the oppressed. Isaiah 1:17. We also cling to His promise as our healer, who forgives all your sins, who heals all your diseases. Psalm 103:3, and He heals the broken in heart, and binds up their wounds. Psalm 147:3. For we know that vengeance belongs to the Lord, yet He also calls authorities and consciences to do what is right, as it is written, Don't seek revenge yourselves, beloved, but give place to God's wrath. For it is written, Vengeance belongs to me; I will repay, says the Lord. Romans 12:19.
We lift you up together in prayer.
Heavenly Father, we come before Your throne of grace in the name of Jesus Christ Your Son. We bring our dear one before You who has suffered for months from unsafe conditions, illness, and skin damage that may take years to heal. Lord, You see every detail, every payment made for repairs that were not their responsibility, every withheld deposit, every threat spoken, every night without proper facilities. We ask for Your healing hand to rest upon their body, to heal the skin where it has been damaged, to rebuild what has been broken, to restore health and bring relief from pain and distress. We ask that You would bring complete restoration in Your mercy, for You have said, For I will restore health to you, and I will heal you of your wounds, says Yahweh. Jeremiah 30:17.
Father, we pray that You would stir and awaken the conscience of the landlord and the community house manager by the power of Your Holy Spirit. Convict them of what is right and lead them to repentance, to do good, to speak truth, and to repay all that is owed, the security deposit, the repair costs, and fair compensation for the suffering and extra expenses. Let them not harden their hearts but act with honesty and integrity, for You desire justice and mercy. We pray that You would remove any spirit of greed, neglect, or intimidation, and replace it with a willingness to make restitution.
Lord, we also ask for Your protection over our dear one from any further threats or inappropriate actions, and for Your peace to guard their heart during this long wait. You tell us not to be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus. Philippians 4:6-7. Strengthen them not to grow weary in doing good, for in due season we will reap, if we don't give up. Galatians 6:9.
We pray for wisdom for next steps, that You would guide them to wise counsel and to lawful and peaceful means to seek what is just, while trusting fully in You as the ultimate Judge who will make all things right. Help them to keep a heart free from bitterness, to entrust this matter to You, and to continue to seek Your will.
We thank You, Father, that You hear us when we pray in Jesus' name, and that You are working even when we see no communication or remorse. We trust Your timing and Your perfect justice and Your tender healing. We ask all this in the mighty and merciful name of Jesus Christ, our hope and our healer, amen.
We encourage you to continue to bring this before the Lord daily, to keep careful records of all that is owed and all that has been spent, and to seek godly counsel and rightful lawful help if needed, while resting in the Lord's care. He has not forgotten you, and He will not forsake you. Wait for Yahweh. Be strong, and let your heart take courage. Yes, wait for Yahweh. Psalm 27:14. We are standing with you and will continue to pray for full repayment, for a softened and repentant heart in those responsible, and for the complete healing and rebuilding of your health.
