Compensation

Kensem

Beloved of All
Please pray in Jesus mighty name that the landlord will pay compensation for the problems (###) that occurred in the apartment due to the lack of electrical safety, as well as for the illness that developed as a result, ### problems, ###, the cost of alternative shower facilities or a shower pass, threats, and other inappropriate actions.

Please pray the landlord's conscience is awakened and stirred by the Holy Spirit to do good and repent.

Update: I have been asking for prayers for almost two months, but there has been no communication, remorse or willingness to compensate me for my suffering.

Update: The landlord hasn't returned the security deposit or the repair costs I paid the technicians... Please pray that he repays everything he owes us!

Update: The community house manager hasn't returned the repair costs, though she promised to do so two months ago. I also paid to repair the house's electricity system which is not lawfully my responsibility to cover the cost as a tenant.
My skin has become ### and ### in the areas where I received ###. It may take years for ###, which is awful. Please pray that ### heal and that ### is rebuilt where the ### was damaged.

We stand with you in fervent prayer, lifting this heavy burden to the Lord in the mighty name of Jesus. The injustice you have endured, unaddressed electrical hazards, resulting illness, financial strain, and the callous disregard of those responsible, is deeply troubling. The Bible tells us in Proverbs 22:22-23, "Don’t exploit the poor because he is poor; and don’t crush the needy in court; for the Lord will plead their case, and plunder the life of those who plunder them." The Lord sees your suffering, and He is a God of justice who will not ignore the cries of the oppressed.

We rebuke the hardness of heart in your landlord and the community manager. Their refusal to take responsibility, their broken promises, and their lack of remorse are not pleasing to God. Scripture warns in Romans 14:12, "So then each one of us will give account of himself to God." We pray that the Holy Spirit would convict them of their wrongdoing, softening their hearts to repentance and restitution. In Ezekiel 36:26, God promises, "I will also give you a new heart, and I will put a new spirit within you; and I will take away the stony heart out of your flesh, and I will give you a heart of flesh." May this transformation take place in their lives, leading them to do what is right.

We also lift up your physical healing, trusting in the Lord’s power to restore what has been damaged. Psalm 147:3 declares, "He heals the broken in heart, and binds up their wounds." We pray for complete healing of your skin, that the scars, both visible and invisible, would be mended by the Great Physician. May the Lord strengthen you in this season, reminding you that He is your Provider and Defender. Philippians 4:19 assures us, "My God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus."

Let us pray together:

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus, the Righteous Judge and our Healer. We lift up this situation to You, asking for Your divine intervention. Lord, You see the injustice that has been done, and we ask that You would move mightily on behalf of Your child. Stir the conscience of the landlord and the community manager, Holy Spirit, that they would be convicted of their wrongdoing and compelled to make restitution. Father, we ask for full repayment of all that is owed, security deposits, repair costs, and compensation for suffering endured. Let no debt remain unpaid, and let no wrong go unaddressed.

We also pray for healing, Lord. Touch every area of damage, physical, emotional, and financial. Restore what has been broken, and bring beauty from these ashes. Strengthen this dear one with Your peace and provision, reminding them that You are their Refuge and Strong Tower. May they experience Your justice and Your healing power in every way.

We declare that no weapon formed against them will prosper, and every tongue that rises against them in judgment will be condemned, for this is their heritage as Your servants (Isaiah 54:17). We trust You to bring resolution to this situation, and we stand on Your promises of justice, healing, and restoration. In Jesus’ mighty name, we pray. Amen.

Do not grow weary in this season, for the Lord is fighting for you. Galatians 6:9 encourages us, "Let us not be weary in doing good, for we will reap in due season, if we don’t give up." Keep trusting in Him, and know that He will not abandon you. If legal action is necessary, seek godly counsel and proceed with wisdom, always remembering that vengeance belongs to the Lord (Romans 12:19). He will repay. Stand firm in faith, and watch how the Lord moves on your behalf.

We've been holding your situation before the Lord and we hear how heavy this has become. Two months of asking with no reply, no remorse, and still carrying the costs for repairs and alternative showers while dealing with painful skin issues, that would wear anyone down. Waiting for what is owed, especially when your health has been affected, can feel both frustrating and lonely.

We are praying with you for healing, for fairness, and for the landlord and house manager to take responsibility for what they owe. We also understand how discouraging it is when healing feels slow and the financial burden keeps growing.

A practical step that may help you feel less stuck is to keep a clear, dated file of everything you have paid, receipts from technicians, the electrical work, shower costs, and any messages where repayment was promised, and to bring that file to a local tenant advice service, housing office or legal aid clinic. They can help you understand your rights as a tenant and what next steps are available where you live. For the ongoing skin irritation and damage you described, please continue to have it checked by your doctor alongside our prayers, so you have proper care while you wait for restoration.

Father, we lift our friend to You in Jesus' name. Bring healing to their skin, ease their discomfort and guide their body toward recovery. Provide for their financial needs, give wisdom for each conversation and decision, and move on the hearts of those responsible to do what is right. Give peace and strength for each day as You lead forward. Amen.

Your prolonged trial and heavy burden have been brought before the Lord with sincere sympathy and prayer. For nearly two months you have waited for a word of remorse or a just recompense, and have received only silence, while you bear in your body the painful marks of an unsafe dwelling, the cost of repairs which were not yours to bear, the loss of your security deposit, and the added expense of seeking elsewhere what your own home should have provided. The Lord sees what man overlooks, and He hears the cry of those who suffer wrong.

Bear this in mind, that the house in which we dwell in this life has God for its Landlord, and that we are only tenants. There is a clause in the lease which men forget, that the great Landlord has at all times the right to enter and to view His own property. Your earthly landlord and the manager of the house are themselves tenants under that same great Landlord, and to Him they must give account for stewardship, for justice, and for mercy. We occupy houses which are not our own, and there is a rent to be paid to the great Landlord in honesty, in righteousness, and in love toward our neighbour. When that rent is withheld through threats and unfaithfulness, it is not hidden from Him who judges righteously. Therefore we pray that the Holy Spirit will awaken and stir the conscience of those who owe you what is just, that they may repent and do good, and restore what they have withheld, whether it be compensation for suffering and illness, the cost of alternative provision, the labour of technicians, or the deposit entrusted to them.

We very speedily care for bodily diseases, for they are too painful to let us slumber in silence, and they soon urge us to seek a physician for healing. How much more should we tell our case to Jesus just as we would mention a physical case to a doctor, for He is ready to hear it all and to consider it. The Scripture says, the leaves of the tree were for the healing of the nations, and the least thing about Christ is healing. His leaf also shall not wither. These healing leaves change the life blood and make the nature other than it was before. Healing and forgiveness are placed in happy conjunction, and when Jesus healed the sick of the palsy He said, Son, be of good cheer, your sins are forgiven you, for pardon and healing were one. The Sun of Righteousness has risen with healing in His wings, and the healing virtue which His grace infuses will work health and cure till we shall be without spot or wrinkle.

We therefore lift you up in prayer before the throne of grace.

O gracious Father, in the mighty name of Jesus Christ Your Son, we bring this afflicted one before You. You have seen the lack of safety, the bodily suffering, the skin afflicted and injured, and the long weariness of waiting for justice. Lay Your healing hand upon this body. Cause that which has been damaged to be rebuilt, and grant restoration to the skin and to every part that has suffered. You who heals the broken in heart, heal also the wounded body, for with You is abundant healing power.

We ask also for justice tempered with mercy. By Your Holy Spirit awaken the conscience of the landlord and of the manager, that they may be convicted of what is right, that they may repent and walk in integrity, and that they may repay what is owed without delay. Restrain all threatening and inappropriate dealing, and cause truth and fairness to prevail. Give to Your servant wisdom to act uprightly and peaceably, to set the house in order in all things that pertain to You, and to offer the key of the house to the great Landlord, acknowledging that we live on sufferance as His tenants. Grant patience in this trial, and faith to see that though man may delay, You do not forget.

We ask that You would provide for every need, comfort the heart that has been grieved by silence, and let this trial work in the soul a deeper trust in Christ, in whom is both pardon and healing. May the power of the Gospel be present to heal as it is present to teach, and may this time become a season of refreshing from Your presence. Hear us, O Lord, for we ask all in the name of Jesus, our heavenly Physician and righteous Judge. Amen.

Take heart and continue to look to Christ. He is able to heal though He is not always pleased to heal at once, yet His compassion fails not. Commit your cause to Him who judges righteously, pursue what is just by lawful and peaceable means, and leave the issue with God, who will in His own time make all things plain.

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

We have heard your request and we are joining you in prayer before the Lord in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, who sees all that is done in secret and who loves justice and mercy.

We pray that God will bring what is right and just in your situation with the apartment, the electrical danger, the illness and skin injury you have suffered, the threats you have endured, and the financial losses from the security deposit and the repairs you paid for, including the work on the house electrical system that was not your responsibility as a tenant. We ask the Lord to move on the heart and conscience of the landlord and also of the community house manager, that the Holy Spirit would awaken them to do what is good and right, to speak truthfully, to keep their promises, and to make restitution for what is owed. Scripture teaches that God does not delight in gain that comes through injustice or neglect of others, and that to take what belongs to another and not restore it is a serious matter before Him. We pray that if there has been hardness or covetousness, there would be repentance, and that even now they would choose honesty and fairness.

We have also noted how long you have waited, nearly two months without communication or remorse, and how discouraging that must be. We pray that God will sustain you in this waiting, guard your heart from bitterness, and give you wisdom as you seek a lawful and peaceful resolution. We pray for your protection from any further threats or inappropriate actions, and for provision for your needs, including the costs for alternative shower facilities.

For your body we pray with compassion. The Lord is the healer who formed you and who cares for every part of you. We ask Him to bring healing to your skin where it has been damaged, to ease pain and distress, to restore what has been harmed, and to give skill to those who care for you. Even if healing takes time, we pray for patience, comfort, and hope day by day, trusting that God is present in suffering and able to renew strength.

Let us pray together: Heavenly Father, in the name of Jesus Christ we bring this need before You. You know the suffering, the illness, the damage to skin, and the financial burden that has been carried. You know what is owed and what has been promised. We ask You to stir the consciences of the landlord and the manager to act justly, to return what is due, and to turn from any wrongdoing. Bring honest communication where there has been silence. Protect from threats and bring peace. Touch and heal the body, restore the skin, and rebuild health where it has been damaged. Provide for every practical need and give wisdom to take right steps. Above all, let Your will be done and let Your name be honored through justice, repentance, and mercy. We ask this in Jesus mighty name, amen.

We will continue to pray with you and we encourage you to keep seeking the Lord, to seek wise and lawful counsel where needed, and to rest in the knowledge that God hears the cry of those who suffer and will in His perfect way bring justice and healing.

Your request has been heard and I am joining you in prayer before the Lord for these heavy burdens you have carried for months. The lack of safety in your home, the illness and skin damage that followed, the financial loss from the security deposit and the repairs you paid for, the cost of finding other places to wash, and the threats and unkind actions you have faced are all seen by God. It is understandable that the long silence and the absence of any remorse or willingness to make things right has added to your suffering.

I pray with you that the Lord would work on the conscience of your landlord and also the manager who promised repayment. May the Holy Spirit stir their hearts to do what is right, to speak truthfully, to repent where wrong has been done, and to return what is owed to you. God loves justice and He calls His people to act honestly and to care for others. I pray that He would bring conviction where it is needed and a willingness to make restitution, and that He would protect you from any further threats or wrongdoing while you wait.

I also bring your physical suffering before the Lord and ask for His healing touch. Scripture shows us that Jesus cares about our bodies. Matthew, writing by the inspiration of the Holy Spirit, tells us that when Jesus healed many who were sick at Peter's house in the evening, it was a fulfillment of what Isaiah had prophesied, surely He has borne our sicknesses and carried our infirmities. In that way Matthew broadens that prophecy to include physical healing and not only spiritual healing. When Jesus took bread and said this is my body which is broken for you, He was pointing to that provision for us. The Gospels show Him healing the leper, the servant of the centurion, Peter's mother in law, and multitudes who were brought to Him, and the apostles later prayed in the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth for those in need, as when Peter lifted the lame man to his feet.

At the same time Scripture helps us keep a balanced trust. The apostle Paul prayed three times concerning his thorn in the flesh, and the Lord did not remove it in the way Paul asked. This reminds us that we cannot presume that God wills instant healing in every case, and we do not always understand why some are healed quickly and others are not. There is also only one recorded case in the ministry of Jesus where healing came gradually, which shows that God works in different ways.

I believe God still heals today and that He cares about your physical needs. Healing is not limited to a moment or a meeting, and it is not found in show or frenzy. Any true healing process is from God, for He created our bodies with the ability to mend and restore, and that natural process is still His divine work. At times healing is immediate, at times it is gradual over months or even years, and at times His greatest healing is in the heart and mind as He brings peace and strength while the body is still recovering. The apostle John wrote to Gaius, I wish above all things that you may prosper and be in good health even as your soul prospers. That was John's loving wish for his friend, not a blanket promise that guarantees health for everyone, but it does show the close connection between the health of the soul and the health of the body. A merry heart does good like a medicine, and peace in Christ can bring strength to the whole person.

So I pray for your skin and for the areas that were damaged, that the Lord would bring restoration and rebuilding where tissue was harmed, whether quickly or through the gradual healing He has placed within the body. I pray for relief from pain and illness and for full recovery. If you are able, you may ask elders to pray for you and to anoint you with oil in the name of the Lord as Scripture teaches. There is no special power in the oil or in hands themselves, but it can be a simple point to release faith and to look to Jesus alone.

May the Lord comfort your heart as you wait, provide for your financial needs, guide you with wisdom in any practical steps you take to seek what is owed, and fill you with His peace. May He heal your body according to His wise and loving will, and may He draw both you and those who have wronged you closer to Himself through Jesus Christ, in whom we have forgiveness and hope.

Father, in the name of Jesus I lift up this dear one to You. You see the apartment problems, the illness, the skin injury, the money spent and not returned, and the threats endured. Bring justice and a tender conscience to those responsible, that they would do what is right and repay what they owe. Touch and heal this body, rebuild what has been damaged, ease pain, and restore health as You will. Give peace to the soul, strength for each day, and confidence in Your care. Amen.

Thank you for giving us the privilege to pray on your behalf. We are glad that you asked us to stand in agreement with you in prayer concerning the compensation you are seeking.

We have continued to lift you up before the Lord and we remember your situation in detail. We have prayed that your landlord would be moved by the Holy Spirit to have his conscience awakened, to repent, and to do what is just and right regarding the lack of electrical safety in the apartment, the problems and illness that followed, the cost of alternative shower facilities, the threats and other inappropriate actions you experienced. We have also prayed for the return of what you are owed, including your security deposit and the repair costs you paid to technicians and for the electrical system of the house which was not your responsibility as a tenant. We remember that you have been waiting for almost two months without communication or remorse from the landlord, and that the community house manager has not returned the repair costs as she promised. We have also prayed for your healing, that the Lord would touch your skin where it was damaged and bring restoration where it may take years to heal, for He is the One who heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds as it says in Psalm 147:3, and we trust that vengeance belongs to the Lord as it says in Rom 12:19.

If your request was answered, please post a praise report and let us all know so we can rejoice with you. If your request does not seem to have been answered, please post it again as a new request and allow us to continue with you in prayer.

We pray in Jesus Name for justice, for provision, for complete healing, and for peace as you wait on the Lord. May God bless you as you continue to seek Him through His Son, Jesus Christ.
