We have heard your request and we join you in prayer to the Lord Jesus Christ for you in this long and painful trial. We are grieved to hear of the lack of electrical safety in the apartment, the illness and skin damage that followed, the cost you have carried for alternative shower facilities and for repairs that were not your responsibility, the threats and inappropriate actions, and the long wait of almost two months without communication, remorse, or repayment of the security deposit and repair costs from the landlord and the community house manager.

We bring before God your need for justice. Scripture teaches that God has planted a sense of justice even in this world, in houses and marketplaces and courts, where masters and judges call others to account. If people care for justice in these small earthly settings, how much more does God, whose righteousness is like the great mountains and whose right hand is full of righteousness, care for what is just. Nothing is overlooked by Him. We pray that He who sees all will act according to His perfect justice and mercy, and that He will awaken the conscience of the landlord and the manager as you have asked, stirring them by the Holy Spirit to repent, to turn from threats and wrongdoing, and to do what is good and right in returning what is owed and making compensation for the suffering caused.

We also pray for your healing. You have shared how your skin has been damaged and how recovery may take a long time. We ask the Lord, the true physician of soul and body, to lay His healing hand upon you, to restore what has been harmed and to rebuild health where there has been injury. We ask Him to give you strength and peace while you wait, and to provide for every cost you have borne.

We understand how discouraging it is to have prayed for two months and to see no response. Do not grow weary in bringing the same request before God. Hearing and praying continually about the same need is useful even for those who already know the truth, because it deepens our trust and keeps our hearts awake before Him. Like a tree that receives many blows before it falls, or a sick person who receives many treatments before the cure is seen, prayer often bears its fruit not at the first asking but after perseverance. God hears each prayer, and even when we seem to receive no answer for a time, He is working. We will continue to pray with you.

We pray that God will move the hearts of those who owe you to repay the security deposit and all the repair costs for the electrical system and other damages, and to provide just compensation for the illness and hardship you have endured. We pray that He will grant you wisdom for any lawful and proper steps you may need to take to seek what is owed, and that He will protect you from further harm or threat. We pray also that mercy may be mingled with justice, that those who have wronged you may come to see their fault and be changed, and that you may be kept from bitterness and be guarded in Christ.

We commit all of this to the Father in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, through whom alone we have salvation and access to God, asking that His will be done, that what is right will be restored, and that you will be healed and strengthened and upheld by His grace. May the Lord grant you patience, comfort, and hope as you continue to look to Him.
Amen
Thank you

Your pain and frustration after waiting for nearly two months without any response, apology, or repayment have been heard, and we join you in bringing all of these burdens before the Lord in the name of Jesus.

We pray that the Holy Spirit will stir the consciences of the landlord and the house manager to do what is right, to speak truthfully, to turn from any wrongdoing, and to repay what is owed, including the security deposit, the costs you paid to technicians, the repairs to the electrical system that were not your responsibility as a tenant, and the expense for alternative shower facilities. God loves justice that is fair and impartial, not influenced by favoritism or self interest, and while we trust Him to work on hearts, we also encourage you to continue to seek what is lawfully yours through proper and peaceful means, leaving vengeance to Him and asking Him to bring conviction that leads to repentance.

We also bring your physical suffering before the Lord, especially the injury to your skin and the concern that healing may take years and that rebuilding is needed where damage occurred. Scripture shows us that the Lord cares for both soul and body. The apostle John expressed a wish for a friend that he would be healthy and prosper in all things just as his soul was prospering, and that connection is real. There is a close relationship between the health of the inner life and the health of the body, as the proverb says a joyful heart is good like medicine, while distress and anxiety can harm the body. In this long season of stress and illness, we pray that God will guard your heart and mind in Christ, bring you peace, and help your soul to prosper as you rest in His care, which itself can support your physical recovery.

We believe that God does heal, and that Jesus bore our sicknesses and infirmities as Isaiah foretold and as Matthew shows was fulfilled when Jesus healed many who were brought to Him. At the same time Scripture teaches us not to presume that healing will always come in the way or timing we desire. The apostle Paul prayed three times for his own affliction to be removed and learned that God had a different purpose in allowing it to remain. We do not always understand why some are healed quickly and others are not. We know there are many kinds of healing. One healing in the Gospels came gradually, with sight returning in stages after Jesus laid His hands on the man a second time. Much healing also comes through the natural processes God Himself placed within our bodies, and that process is no less divine because God is the one who created it. Whether healing is immediate or gradual, through prayer or through the body's own restoration, all true healing comes from Him. We pray for your complete healing, and we also trust His wisdom and love if the recovery is slow, asking Him to heal not only the body but also any wounds of fear, discouragement, and weariness.

Above all, we remember that our greatest need is the forgiveness of sins and peace with God through Jesus Christ, for that settles our eternal future, and every other need is secondary to it. If you have not already done so, place your trust fully in Jesus for that forgiveness, and bring every other need to Him as a beloved child.

Let us pray together. Father, in the mighty name of Jesus we lift up this suffering and this loss. You see the unsafe conditions, the illness that followed, the threats and unkind actions, and the financial burden that remains unpaid. We ask that You awaken conscience and move those responsible to act honestly and to repay what is owed. Provide for every practical need, for safe housing, for the costs already spent, and for daily living. Lay Your healing hand upon skin that is damaged, and bring restoration and rebuilding where tissue was harmed, whether quickly or gradually according to Your will. Comfort the heart, renew the mind, and grant a joyful trust in You that brings strength to the body. Protect from further harm and threats, and let Your justice and mercy be seen. We ask this in the name of Jesus Christ our Lord, who bore our sins and our infirmities, amen.

We encourage you to keep bringing these requests to the Lord, to care for your soul through His Word and prayer, to seek wise counsel and lawful help regarding what is owed, and to keep your hope in Him who sees all and will do what is right.
