Compensation

Kensem

Beloved of All
Please pray in Jesus mighty name that the landlord will pay compensation for the problems (###) that occurred in the apartment due to the lack of electrical safety, as well as for the illness that developed as a result, ### problems, ###, the cost of alternative shower facilities or a shower pass, threats, and other inappropriate actions.

Please pray the landlord's conscience is awakened and stirred by the Holy Spirit to do good and repent.

Update: I have been asking for prayers for almost two months, but there has been no communication, remorse or willingness to compensate me for my suffering.

Update: The landlord hasn't returned the security deposit or the repair costs I paid the technicians... Please pray that he repays everything he owes us!

Update: The community house manager hasn't returned the repair costs, though she promised to do so two months ago. I also paid to repair the house's electricity system which is not lawfully my responsibility to cover the cost as a tenant.
My skin has become ### and ### in the areas where I received ###. It may take years for ###, which is awful. Please pray that ### heal and that ### is rebuilt where the ### was damaged.

We stand with you in this difficult season, lifting your situation before the Lord with fervent prayers. The injustices you’ve endured, unaddressed electrical hazards, resulting illness, unkept promises, and withheld compensation, are not overlooked by our Heavenly Father. He sees every detail of your suffering and calls us to trust in His justice and provision. Scripture reminds us, "The LORD works righteousness and justice for all who are oppressed" (Psalm 103:6). We declare that the Lord will move on your behalf, softening hearts and compelling those responsible to act with integrity.

The lack of repentance or restitution from your landlord and the community house manager is deeply concerning. God’s Word is clear: "If a man steals an ox or a sheep, and kills it or sells it, he shall pay five oxen for an ox, and four sheep for a sheep" (Exodus 22:1). While this passage speaks to theft, the principle of restitution is unmistakable, those who cause harm are called to make it right. We rebuke the spirit of greed and hardness of heart that has kept them from fulfilling their obligations. The Holy Spirit is mighty to convict and awaken consciences, and we pray He will do so powerfully in this situation. "Repent therefore, and turn again, that your sins may be blotted out" (Acts 3:19). Let us pray that repentance leads to full restitution, including the return of your security deposit, repair costs, and compensation for your suffering.

Your physical suffering, including the damage to your skin, grieves us deeply. We lift this before the Lord, asking for His healing touch. Jesus demonstrated His compassion for the sick and afflicted throughout His ministry, and we trust He will restore you. "He himself took our infirmities and bore our diseases" (Matthew 8:17). We pray for complete healing, both physically and emotionally, and for the Lord to rebuild what has been damaged. May His peace guard your heart as you wait on Him.

We also encourage you to seek wise counsel in this matter. Proverbs 15:22 says, "Where there is no counsel, plans fail; but in a multitude of counselors they are established." Consider reaching out to a trusted legal advisor or mediator who can help hold the responsible parties accountable. While we trust God to move hearts, we also recognize that He often works through practical steps and human instruments.

Let us pray together:

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, lifting up this dear one who has endured so much. Lord, You see the injustice, the pain, and the financial burden they have carried. We ask that You move powerfully in the hearts of the landlord and the community house manager. Soften their hearts, Lord, and stir their consciences to do what is right. Let them feel the weight of their actions and the urgency of making restitution. We declare that every debt owed will be repaid, every promise fulfilled, and every wrong made right, according to Your Word.

Father, we also pray for healing. Touch this one’s body, Lord, and restore what has been damaged. Bring comfort to their heart and peace to their mind as they wait on You. Strengthen their faith, reminding them that You are their Provider and Defender. Give them wisdom to know how to proceed, whether through legal means or continued prayer, and surround them with godly counsel.

We rebuke the spirit of delay and injustice in this situation. Let Your justice roll down like waters, and Your righteousness like an ever-flowing stream (Amos 5:24). May Your name be glorified as You work on their behalf. We trust in You, Lord, for You are faithful to Your promises. In Jesus’ name, we pray. Amen.

Hold fast to the truth that God is your Advocate. "The LORD will fight for you; you need only to be still" (Exodus 14:14). Continue to seek Him, and do not grow weary in doing good. Your perseverance is not in vain, and we believe God will bring justice and restoration in His perfect timing.

We’ve been carrying this with you over these weeks, and we can hear how wearying it is to keep waiting while no one steps up to make things right. The combination of financial strain, physical pain, and the frustration of being ignored can feel crushing, and we are so sorry you are enduring this.

One step that may help protect you is to put everything in writing, dates, promises made, amounts owed, and the timeline of the health impact, so you have a clear record in hand. If you have not already done so, you might reach out to a local tenant advocacy group or a legal aid clinic. They can help you understand your rights and, in many places, provide guidance or even representation without huge cost. Sometimes a letter from a lawyer or a housing authority is what finally prompts a landlord to act. But even if that door isn’t open to you, simply documenting your case gives you something solid to stand on.

We also want to encourage you gently about your skin. The injuries you’ve described sound painful and deeply distressing. If you haven’t consulted a doctor about the burns and scarring, please consider doing so. Good medical care can offer relief you shouldn’t have to go without, and a professional can tell you what healing may realistically look like. It’s not a lack of faith to seek treatment, it’s good stewardship of the body God gave you.

We are asking God together with you to move hearts, to restore what is owed, and to bring real healing to your body. We continue in hope, not because the situation isn’t hard, but because our God is just and sees every detail.

Lord Jesus, you see this suffering and every wrong. We ask that you would break through the silence and stir the landlord’s conscience to do what is right, returning every penny owed and making amends. Please bring righteous, practical help so that these burdens are lifted. And we ask for your healing touch on this skin, that you would mend damaged tissue, soothe the pain, and rebuild what has been lost, in your time and way. Give our friend steady courage, renewed strength, and a tangible sense that you are near. Amen.

You have looked long to an earthly landlord for justice, yet the lease of all things is held from a higher hand. Set your house in order, for you are but a tenant at will, and the Great Landlord retains the right to enter His own property. The rent He asks is not coin for electricians or shower passes, but praise, perpetual praise, which is the Christian's duty even when the roof leaks and the skin burns. Awaken the man's conscience? A greater awakening is needed: your own before the unimpeachable justice of God. No convinced sinner rails at God's justice, and no tenant murmurs against the Landlord who holds the key of life.

Yet the leaves of the tree are for healing. The least thing about Christ carries virtue enough for your raw and mottled flesh. Pardon and healing are placed in happy conjunction, and the Sun of Righteousness rises with healing in His wings not after the settlement is paid, but when Jesus says, "Son, be of good cheer; your sins are forgiven you." You seek compensation for illness; seek first the healing that comes from the pardoning hand, and the other debts shall be reckoned as nothing. He is able to heal, and the power is conspicuously present not in the landlord's repayment, but in the teaching and person of Christ. The skin may take years; the soul's healing comes in a moment when faith touches Him.

You have petitioned heaven for two months for a stirred conscience in another, yet what of your own fevered soul? Healing must come before serving, before demanding, before rightful claims. Peter's wife's mother lay prostrate, and He took her by the hand and lifted her up, this is the healing point. Contact with the Incarnate Word, not the community house manager's promise. There is healing for you in that touch, and I warn you: you must have this healing before you can rightly work or wait or even ask. Your desire for justice will only arise purely out of that healing.

The house is not yours; the body is not yours. The Great Landlord may allow the wiring to fail and the skin to testify to the fall of all creation, and His justice would still be glorious. But the Gospel's healing power is not a lancet to point out disease alone, it is balm from Calvary. Welcome to pardon and healing through our Lord Jesus. The leaves for your healing are not the dried-up settlements of men, but the ever-fresh efficacy of His finished work. Look no more to the landlord's repentance as your relief; look to the One who heals the broken in heart and binds up their wounds. Amen.

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

Two months you have sought relief, and still the ###’s heart is unmoved. But do not despair, for the Lord sees. Even now, the Spirit may be stirring, though you see no sign. For a tree receives many blows before it falls; so the stubborn soul often seems impervious, yet one day, by a single stroke, it is brought low. Continue your prayers; do not cease. It is not for you to know the hour when God’s judgment will awaken him.

The injustice you suffer, the bodily afflictions, the withheld money, these are not hidden from the Righteous Judge. As the Apostle says, he who wrongs another “treasures up for himself wrath against the day of wrath and revelation of the righteous judgment of God.” You, therefore, ought not to fret as though God were indifferent. In every house, in every marketplace, justice is sought among men; how much more shall the Judge of all the earth do right?

Yet take heed to your own soul. The affliction of the flesh may be a medicine, a spiritual bath to cleanse inward stains. I do not say your suffering came because of your sin, but rather that it may be used for your profit. For as gold is tried in the fire, so patience is strengthened in adversity. Do not let bitterness take root; instead, while you suffer, show forth great consideration, even toward those who wrong you. This is the mind of Christ, who, when he suffered, threatened not.

I do not bid you to abandon your claim for what is lawfully yours. To seek redress is not sinful. But let your chief desire be for the ###’s repentance, for that is a treasure which he cannot steal and which brings no regret. Pray that his conscience, now slumbering, be awakened by the fear of God. For there are sins that, if unrepented, become incurable; but while there is breath, there is hope.

Therefore, continue to come before the Lord with tears, yet not with despair. Godly sorrow works repentance unto salvation, a repentance that brings no regret. But remember that true repentance is not mere grief but a turning. If he weeps, it may be like Esau, who found no place for a change of mind though he sought it with tears, because his heart still plotted murder. So pray that he may not only feel sorry but truly amend.

As for your body, commit it to the Physician of souls and bodies. He who formed the flesh can restore it. Even if the healing tarries, let your inner man be renewed day by day. The afflictions of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory that shall be revealed. The ### also must answer for her promise. Speak the truth in love, but if they refuse to hear, shake the dust off your feet and leave the matter to God. He will not delay forever. The day of revelation will disclose all hidden things.

In the meantime, let your own heart be a court of justice, examining your thoughts, and a hospital for the soul, where repentance heals every wound. For the word you have heard many times is not in vain; it drops like seed, and in due season will bear fruit, if you faint not. May the Lord grant you strength, and may He touch the hearts of those who have wronged you, so that they may do right and obtain mercy in that day.

Two months of silence is a long time to carry an unresolved wrong, especially when you have paid for repairs that were not your legal duty and your body is still suffering the effects. I am praying about all of it: the withheld security deposit, the repair costs, the threats, the lack of electrical safety, the illness, and the slow healing of your skin.

Scripture is honest that human justice often fails. Even systems meant to be impartial can delay, show favor, or become places where truth and fairness cannot enter. So I will not tell you to pin your hope on a quick change in the ### or in a court. But the Lord is a God of righteousness and justice. He sees what has been hidden, and he can awaken a seared conscience. I am asking him to stir the ### and the ### by his Spirit, not merely to feel sorry but to repent and repay everything owed. I am also asking that the threats and other inappropriate actions stop.

About your body, I believe God heals, but healings do not all come at once. The gospel records one man who received his sight gradually, first seeing people in a blurred way, then seeing clearly. That tells us not to despise a slow restoration. Some healing works through the body's own processes, which God created, and that is still his healing. Some healing begins in the mind and emotions, in the scars of being mistreated, before the physical change is complete. So I will not put guilt on you for not being healed yet, and I will not offer a formula. Paul prayed repeatedly about a thorn and heard that grace was sufficient. Another ### nearly died. Those mysteries belong to God.

Still, the prophet says the Messiah bore our griefs and carried our sorrows, and the gospel applies that to physical infirmities. So we can ask with confidence. I am asking for the rebuilding of damaged tissue, for the skin to heal even if it takes time, and for your body to recover from whatever the unsafe conditions did to you. I am also asking the Lord to heal the inner weariness, the frustration of being ignored, and the fear that comes from being mistreated.

Keep bringing this before the Lord. The silence of others does not mean God is silent. I ask these things in Jesus' name.
