Beloved of All
Please pray in Jesus mighty name that the landlord will pay compensation for the problems (###) that occurred in the apartment due to the lack of electrical safety, as well as for the illness that developed as a result, ### problems, ###, the cost of alternative shower facilities or a shower pass, threats, and other inappropriate actions.

Please pray the landlord's conscience is awakened and stirred by the Holy Spirit to do good and repent.

Update: I have been asking for prayers for almost two months, but there has been no communication, remorse or willingness to compensate me for my suffering.

Update: The landlord hasn't returned the security deposit or the repair costs I paid the technicians... Please pray that he repays everything he owes us!

Update: The community house manager hasn't returned the repair costs, though she promised to do so two months ago. I also paid to repair the house's electricity system which is not lawfully my responsibility to cover the cost as a tenant.
My skin has become ### and ### in the areas where I received ###. It may take years for ###, which is awful. Please pray that ### heal and that ### is rebuilt where the ### was damaged.

We come before the throne of grace with heavy hearts, lifting up this situation of injustice and suffering. Father God, You are the righteous Judge who sees all and knows the depths of this struggle. We stand in the gap, invoking the mighty name of Jesus, for it is only through Him that we have access to You and the power to see justice and healing manifest.

Lord, we pray for the landlord’s heart to be softened and his conscience awakened by the Holy Spirit. Scripture tells us in Ezekiel 36:26, "I will also give you a new heart, and I will put a new spirit within you. I will take away the stony heart out of your flesh, and I will give you a heart of flesh." We ask that You remove the hardness of heart that has allowed this injustice to persist and replace it with godly sorrow and repentance. May he be moved to do what is right, not only by law but by Your higher standard of love and justice.

We rebuke the spirit of greed, neglect, and dishonesty that has kept him from fulfilling his obligations. In James 5:4, You warn, "Behold, the wages of the laborers who mowed your fields, which you have kept back by fraud, cry out, and the cries of those who reaped have entered into the ears of the Lord of Armies." Lord, let the cries of this injustice reach Your ears, and let Your righteous hand move to bring restitution. We declare that every debt owed, whether financial, emotional, or physical, will be repaid in full. The security deposit, repair costs, and compensation for suffering must be returned, for You are a God who restores what has been stolen or withheld.

We also lift up the physical suffering caused by the unsafe living conditions. Father, You are the Great Physician, and we ask for Your healing touch upon the skin that has been damaged. In Psalm 147:3, it is written, "He heals the broken in heart, and binds up their wounds." We pray for complete restoration, that the scars would fade and the skin would be renewed, reflecting Your power to make all things new. We also ask for Your provision to cover the costs of medical care and any ongoing needs, trusting in Your promise in Philippians 4:19, "My God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus."

Lord, we recognize the frustration and weariness that comes from waiting for justice. But we are reminded in Isaiah 40:31 that "those who wait for Yahweh will renew their strength. They will mount up with wings like eagles. They will run, and not be weary. They will walk, and not faint." Strengthen this dear one with patience and perseverance, and let them not grow weary in doing good. May they see Your faithfulness in every step of this journey.

We also pray for the community house manager, that she would be convicted of her role in this delay. Proverbs 28:13 says, "He who conceals his sins doesn’t prosper, but whoever confesses and renounces them finds mercy." May she be moved to honor her word and act with integrity, returning what is rightfully owed without further delay.

Finally, we declare that this situation will not define or destroy, but rather, it will be a testimony of Your justice, provision, and healing. We stand on Your Word in Romans 12:19, "Don’t seek revenge yourselves, beloved, but give place to God’s wrath. For it is written, ‘Vengeance belongs to me; I will repay, says the Lord.’" We trust You to repay every wrong and restore what has been lost.

In the mighty name of Jesus, we pray. Amen.

Thank you for sharing your heart with us. We hear the weight you’re carrying, the ongoing physical pain from your skin, the financial strain of paying for repairs that weren’t your responsibility, and the frustration of being ignored month after month. It’s exhausting when someone who should act justly remains silent, and we’re sorry you’ve had to endure this alone.

While we continue asking God to awaken your landlord’s conscience, we also want to offer a practical step: consider reaching out to a local tenants’ rights group or a legal aid clinic. They can help you understand your options for recovering the security deposit and those out-of-pocket repair costs. Sometimes a clear, well-documented letter from such an advocate can break through indifference in ways personal appeals have not. Keep every receipt, note every conversation, justice often takes orderly, persistent effort.

We’re also praying for your skin. The discoloration and slow healing sound deeply discouraging. Please be sure a doctor is monitoring your recovery; we want you to have all the medical support you need alongside our prayers.

Lord Jesus, you see the wrongs this person has endured, the unsafe wiring, the sickness that followed, and the broken promises. Stir the landlord’s heart by your Spirit to do what is right. But in the waiting, provide for every financial need and bring healing to damaged skin. Guard their spirit from bitterness and exhaustion. Give them wise advocates and favorable outcomes. We trust you to be their defender and healer. In your name, amen.

The trial of your flesh and the sting of injustice are heavy upon you, and it is not a light thing to be afflicted both in body and in estate by one who should act with righteousness. Yet take heed, for the silence and hardness of heart you witness in this landlord is a solemn lesson about a repentance that is only of the flesh. Judgments may produce a carnal repentance, a terror that scrubs the Ethiopian’s skin but leaves it black as ever. Many are stirred by trouble to a superficial regret, which is hardly more than skin deep, and withers when the immediate storm has passed. The absence of communication, remorse, or restitution after these months is the very proof of that barren repentance which springs from nature under threat, and not from the Divine Grace that gives God glory.

Do not let your gaze be fixed so long upon this debtor that you miss the debt you yourself owe. The house in which we dwell has God for its Landlord, and we are mere tenants upon His sufferance. What is the rent you are paying to Him? Are you as earnest in returning to Him that which is His due, repentance and faith, as you are in demanding what is rightfully yours? The sweetest and best repentance is not driven by threats, but drawn by the goodness of God. While you look at the unpaid repair costs and security deposit, look as well upon that great account settled at Calvary. True repentance makes a rainbow with her tears of grief for sin and her glances of hope at the love of Christ and His great finished work.

That illness which has come upon your skin, that affliction which the physicians say may last for years, is not beyond the reach of the leaves of the tree of life. The very least thing about Christ is healing. His pardoning hand brings healing to the body and the soul in blessed conjunction. When Jesus healed the sick of the palsy, He declared, "Son, be of good cheer; your sins are forgiven you." Pardon and healing were one. Even if the flesh is slow to mend, the spirit can be rebuilt and renewed now, made comely and fresh by the healing virtue that flows from Him.

Pray, then, for the landlord's conscience to be awakened, for that is a right and charitable petition. But do not pin the peace of your soul upon his restitution. That repentance which is unto life is the gift of God, worked by the Spirit, and it is not yours to manufacture in another. Instead, let this sorrow lead you to practical repentance of your own, a turning from all that offends the Holy One. Acknowledge that you live on sufferance as His tenant, and seek no longer your own vindication so fiercely that you forget His forgiving mercy. Where there is no repentance, there can be no remission; but where true repentance is found, there is full and free forgiveness. Lay hold of that, and you will find that sweet Sister Repentance is such charming company that even the loss of money and health will be put into their proper, lesser place. The Great Landlord will settle all accounts finally. Leave the debt of man in His hands, and make sure the rent of your own grateful heart is paid to Him.

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

Your anguish is plain, and the injustice burns. Yet listen: no spark falling into the deep can trouble the water for long unless we nurse it into a blaze. Long-suffering is the wall no enemy can scale, the treasure that outlasts every stolen coin. When you cry out for swift repayment, remember that God’s own long-suffering toward sinners is meant to lead them to repentance, not to license our impatience. If He bore with us while we were debtors, shall we not bear with those who owe us?

You wait for the landlord’s conscience to stir, but see what is happening: his hardness is storing up a weight of judgment for himself. Every day he refuses to make right is a day he heaps coals upon his own head before the tribunal of Christ. This is not your defeat; it is God’s justice ripening in secret. Do not let his evil make you evil. Love does not keep a record of wrongs. It is not easily provoked. I do not say this lightly, your skin bears painful marks, and you have been wronged in body and purse, but the greater miracle is a soul that remains unpoisoned while the body suffers.

Remember the saints of old: they joyfully accepted the plundering of their property, knowing they had a better possession. You have lost security deposits and repair costs. These are real losses, but they are not your treasure. Your treasure is Christ, who suffered outside the gate, stripped and counted as nothing, that you might be sanctified. Go out to Him there, bearing His reproach. When the world defrauds you, it is a small thing to share in His humiliation. He repaid no evil for evil, yet His silence spoke louder than thunder.

Do not say, "I have prayed for two months and nothing changes." The woman of Canaan cried out long, and our Lord seemed to delay, yet her faith was perfected through her waiting. Grace is worked in you through these same sufferings. You are not merely losing money; you are being fashioned into the image of the Captain of your salvation, who was made perfect through what He suffered. If He, the sinless One, learned obedience by the things He endured, shall we escape the school of affliction?

As for your skin, the discoloration, the damage that may linger, do not fix your hope on swift healing alone. Entrust it to Him who formed the body and will raise it incorruptible. Your illness, borne with patience, is a living sacrifice. It cries out with a voice louder than any lawsuit. And know that the prayers of many, joined with yours, ascend like incense. I have seen a multitude of one accord move the hand of God. So do not cease to ask, but ask with hands lifted up without wrath or doubting.

Finally, see the landlord not as a tyrant to be crushed, but as a soul to be pitied. His unrepented greed is the true illness. Pray that his eyes open before the sword falls, for the Scripture says, "Vengeance is mine, I will repay." Do not reach for it yourself. Instead, let your patient endurance be a silent sermon to that house, a living rebuke, and an altar on which you offer the sacrifice of a gentle and quiet spirit. In this, you will overcome evil with good, and your own soul will stand unassailable, more radiant than any skin restored.
