Please pray in Jesus mighty name that the landlord will pay compensation for the problems (###) that occurred in the apartment due to the lack of electrical safety, as well as for the illness that developed as a result, ### problems, ###, the cost of alternative shower facilities or a shower pass, threats, and other inappropriate actions.

Please pray the landlord's conscience is awakened and stirred by the Holy Spirit to do good and repent.

Update: I have been asking for prayers for almost three months, but there has been no communication, remorse or willingness to compensate me for my suffering.

Update: The landlord hasn't returned the security deposit or the repair costs I paid the technicians... Please pray that he repays everything he owes us!

Update: The community house manager hasn't returned the repair costs, though she promised to do so three months ago. I also paid to repair the house's electricity system which is not lawfully my responsibility to cover the cost as a tenant.
My skin has become ### and ### in the areas where I received ###. It may take years for ###, which is awful. Please pray that ### heal and that ### is rebuilt where the ### was damaged.

We join you in prayer in Jesus' mighty name and we have heard the heaviness of your suffering through these many months. To wait almost three months with no communication, no remorse, and no willingness to make restitution is deeply discouraging, and we grieve with you over the illness, the skin damage, the threats and inappropriate actions, and the financial burden of paying for repairs and alternative facilities that were not your responsibility to bear.

We bring before the Lord both your need for healing and your need for justice, for our God is both Healer and righteous Judge. He heals all your diseases Psalm 103:3 and He promises But I will restore health to you, and I will heal you of your wounds, says Yahweh Jeremiah 30:17. We also know that Yahweh loves justice and calls those in authority to act justly. He has shown you, O man, what is good. What does Yahweh require of you, but to act justly, love mercy, and walk humbly with your God Micah 6:8. A landlord and a manager are entrusted with stewardship over the dwelling of others, and to neglect electrical safety, to withhold what is owed, and to threaten those who are vulnerable is not doing to others as you would have them do to you Luke 6:31.

We understand your desire for compensation for the deposit, the repair costs you covered, the cost of shower facilities, and the suffering from illness and skin injury. It is right to seek what is owed. The Scripture teaches that the laborer and the tenant should not be defrauded and that restitution is a matter of righteousness. At the same time we are called to entrust vengeance to God and not to let bitterness take root. Don’t seek revenge yourselves, beloved, but give place to God’s wrath. For it is written, Vengeance belongs to me; I will repay, says the Lord Romans 12:19. We encourage you to continue to document all costs, keep copies of receipts, communications and promises made, and to seek wise and lawful counsel where it is available, while we together ask God to move.

We pray now together.

Father in heaven, in the name of Jesus Christ your Son we come before your throne of grace. You see all that has happened in that apartment, every unsafe condition, every payment made, every threat spoken, and every night of pain and illness. You see the damage done to skin and health that may take years to heal. We ask for your healing touch upon this body. Lay your hand upon the areas that are damaged and rebuild what has been harmed, restore the skin and heal the illness that developed, for you are Yahweh who heals us. Grant wisdom to doctors and patience and peace in the long process of recovery. Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God Philippians 4:6, and we make this need known to you now.

Lord, we also ask for justice and restitution. You are a God of truth and righteousness, and your work is perfect, for all your ways are just Deuteronomy 32:4. We ask that you awaken and stir the conscience of the landlord and the community house manager by your Holy Spirit. Convict them of what is right, bring them to repentance, and move them to do good and to repay everything that is owed, the security deposit and every repair cost that was unjustly borne by your child. As you taught us in the parable of the persistent widow, that we ought always to pray and not to faint Luke 18:1, we will not grow weary in praying for this breakthrough. Don’t be weary in doing well, for in due season we will reap, if we don’t give up Galatians 6:9.

Father, guard this dear one from anxiety and despair during this long wait. Let your peace, which surpasses all understanding, guard heart and mind in Christ Jesus Philippians 4:7. Help them to forgive as you have forgiven us, while still seeking what is just, and keep their heart from being hardened by this trial. Provide for every financial need and open a door for fair and prompt resolution without further threats or wrongdoing. We thank you that you are near to all those who call on you, to all who call on you in truth Psalm 145:18, and we thank you that we have access to you only through Jesus, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved Acts 4:12.

We continue to stand with you in prayer, trusting that the Lord hears, that He will bring healing to your body and justice in His perfect timing. May the Lord strengthen you and keep you, and may His will be done in this situation for your good and for His glory. In Jesus’ mighty name we pray, amen.

Waiting without communication can make it feel like your suffering is invisible, and we want you to know we see the weight you are carrying and we are still praying.

One thing that may help steady you in this long process is to keep a simple, organized file with dates, photos, receipts for technicians and shower costs, copies of any messages or promises made, and notes of conversations. If you have not already, a local tenant advice service, housing office or legal aid clinic can often review what options you have for recovering a deposit and repair costs in your area. For the ongoing skin concerns, we encourage you to stay in close touch with your doctor or dermatologist alongside prayer, so they can follow the healing over time.

Father, we lift them to You in Jesus name. Bring healing to their skin and strength for each day, provide wisdom and fair help for the financial matters, and stir conscience toward what is right and good. Give peace in the waiting and trusted people nearby to support them. Amen.

We have heard your long and heavy burden, carried now for nearly three months without answer or kindness from those who owe you justice, and we have brought it before the Lord who sees with a deeply sympathetic heart and is quick to relieve.

You have suffered in your dwelling through lack of care for your safety, and in your body through illness and painful injury to your skin, and in your goods through what has been withheld from you, the deposit and the cost of repairs which were not yours by law to bear. It is right to seek what is just and to ask the Lord to move upon the conscience of those who have dealt so hardly with you. We join you in praying that the Holy Spirit would awaken and stir the landlord and the house manager to speak honestly, to show remorse where they have threatened and acted inappropriately, and to render what is due. The Lord loves righteousness and He hears the cry of those who are wronged, and we ask Him to turn hard hearts toward repentance and toward doing good.

We also bring your body before Jehovah Rophi, the Lord who heals. In our Saviour healing and pardon are placed in happy conjunction, for when Jesus healed the sick He said, Son, be of good cheer, your sins are forgiven you, and pardon and healing were one. He sent His Word and healed them and delivered them from their destructions, and that Word is Christ Himself. There is healing in His touch, for He took our flesh and became bone of our bone and flesh of our flesh that He might have compassion upon us and raise us up. Even the leaves of the Tree of Life, the least things that come from Him, have a healing virtue in them, and a word from Him coming home to the heart brings healing to head and heart and conscience and body.

So we pray for you that the Sun of Righteousness would rise upon you with healing in His wings, that the Lord would cause your skin to be restored and that which was damaged to be rebuilt, according to His mercy and power. We pray that the healing virtue which His grace infuses would work in you till you know His restoring hand both in soul and in body, and that you would be kept from bitterness while you wait, casting your care upon Him who cares for you.

We pray thus in the name of Jesus Christ our Lord, who alone is our righteousness and our healer, asking that He would grant justice where it is owed, move the consciences of those who have withheld it, and grant you full restoration and peace, that you may yet praise the Lord for His goodness and declare His wonderful works with rejoicing. We have heard your cry and we stand with you in prayer before the Lord for all you have endured in this apartment.

We bring before God the injustice you have suffered, the lack of electrical safety, the illness and skin damage that followed, the costs you have carried for alternative shower facilities, for technicians and for repairs to the house system that was not your responsibility, and the withholding of your security deposit and repair costs by the landlord and the community house manager. We also bring before Him the threats and inappropriate actions you have faced. God sees what is done in secret and in the open, and He is a God of justice and mercy. We pray that He will move on behalf of what is right and according to what is owed.

We join you in praying that the landlord and the manager will have their consciences awakened and stirred by the Holy Spirit. Scripture teaches that God has placed within each person a conscience that bears witness to what is right, and even those who do wrong know within themselves when they have acted unjustly. We pray that this inner witness would not be silenced, but that it would lead to conviction, repentance and a willingness to do good, to speak truthfully, to return what has been withheld and to make restitution for the harm done.

We pray also for your healing. The Lord knows the pain of skin that has become damaged and the long road of waiting for it to be rebuilt and restored, which you say may take years. We ask the Great Physician, who heals both body and soul, to lay His hand upon you, to ease your suffering, to heal your skin and to rebuild what has been damaged, according to His mercy and power. We pray for your protection and for peace in your home, that fear and threat would be replaced by safety.

We understand how heavy these almost three months of waiting have been without communication or remorse. The Scriptures call us to patience in affliction and to hope that does not faint even when the answer is delayed. Patience is shown over time, and it is strengthened by the promises of God. We pray that God will comfort you through His Word, sustain your faith, keep you from discouragement and fill you with a steady hope as you wait for Him to act. He hears the prayers of those who trust Him and He will judge with righteousness.

So we pray together in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our only Savior and Lord, that God would grant justice, that what is owed would be repaid, that hearts would be softened to repentance, and that you would receive healing, provision and peace. May the Lord comfort you, strengthen you and let you see His goodness and His help in this trial.
