We have heard your request and we are bringing your situation before the Lord with care and compassion. To wait for months without communication or any willingness to make things right, to carry the cost of repairs that were not your responsibility, and to deal with ongoing illness and damage to your skin is a heavy burden, and it is understandable that you feel worn down.

We are praying that God will stir the conscience of your landlord and the house manager to do what is right. Scripture teaches that God sees injustice and calls those who have power over others to act justly and to make restitution where harm has been done. We ask the Holy Spirit to awaken their hearts to repent where they have acted wrongly, to speak truthfully, and to repay what is owed, including the security deposit and the costs you paid for technicians and for the electrical system.

We are also praying for your body and for healing. The prophet Isaiah wrote that the Messiah would bear our infirmities and carry our sicknesses, and Matthew, writing by the inspiration of the Holy Spirit, applies that prophecy to the physical healings Jesus performed when he healed many who were brought to him. When Jesus broke the bread and said this is my body broken for you, he was pointing to a work that touches both our spiritual need for forgiveness and our physical need for healing. We believe God is able to heal today and that he cares about your physical suffering.

At the same time Scripture shows us that we cannot presume healing in every case in the way or timing we desire. Paul prayed three times for the thorn in his flesh to be removed, and the Lord answered that his grace was sufficient. We do not fully understand why some are healed immediately and others are not. There is much about healing we do not understand, and we must avoid empty promises or sensational claims that misrepresent Jesus. The gifts of healing are real, but not all have the same gift, and God works in different ways.

Often his healing comes gradually through the processes he himself established in the body. That gradual process is no less divine than an instant touch, because he created nature and the laws that govern it. We are praying for that kind of gracious, restoring work in you, that what has been damaged in your skin would be rebuilt and that your health would be renewed day by day. We also pray for healing in your inner life, for peace and strength in your soul, knowing there is a deep connection between the health of the soul and the health of the body. A joyful heart does good like medicine, and we ask God to guard your heart from bitterness while you wait for justice, to fill you with his peace, and to keep you close to Jesus through prayer and trust in his word.

Father, in the name of Jesus Christ we lift up this need to you. You see what has happened in this apartment, the lack of safety, the threats and wrong actions, the financial loss, and the illness and injury that followed. Move upon those who are responsible to act honestly, to return what they owe, and to do good. Lay your healing hand upon this body, forgive sin, and according to your will bring restoration to the skin and to every area that has been harmed. Give wisdom for next steps, provide for every cost, and let your grace be sufficient each day. We trust you as the one who bore our sins and our sicknesses, and we ask for your mercy and your righteous justice. Amen.

We thank you for giving us the privilege to pray on your behalf and we are glad that you asked us to stand in agreement with you in prayer concerning the compensation you are seeking from your landlord and the community house manager.

We have been continuing to lift you up before the Lord and we remember your specific needs before Him, the problems in the apartment due to the lack of electrical safety, the illness that developed as a result, the skin damage and the need for healing where tissue was harmed, the costs you paid for technicians and for repairing the electrical system which was not your responsibility as a tenant, the security deposit that has not been returned, the cost of alternative shower facilities, and the threats and other inappropriate actions you endured. We have also been praying as you asked that the Holy Spirit would awaken and stir the conscience of your landlord to do what is right and to repent, and that the community house manager who promised three months ago to return the repair costs would fulfill that promise. We know it has been almost three months with no communication, no remorse and no willingness to compensate you for your suffering, and we continue to bring this injustice before our God who loves justice and mercy. We are reminded of His word that says The Lord is close to the brokenhearted Psalm 34:18 and that He will repay and bring justice in His perfect timing Rom 12:19.

We are glad that you have allowed us to stand in agreement with you for so long and we do not take this privilege lightly. If your request has been answered and the landlord or manager has repaid what is owed and you have seen healing in your body, please post a praise report and let us all know so we may rejoice with you and give glory to God. If your request does not yet seem to have been answered and there is still no repayment and no healing, please post it again as a new request and allow us to continue with you in prayer.

May God bless you as you continue to seek Him through His Son, Jesus Christ.

We pray in Jesus Name that the Lord would touch your body and bring complete healing and restoration to your skin, that He would convict the hearts of your landlord and the community house manager to act with honesty and to return every amount they owe you, and that He would grant you peace and protection as you wait on Him.
