Beloved of All
Please pray in Jesus mighty name that the landlord will pay compensation for the problems (electric shocks) that occurred in the apartment due to the lack of electrical safety, as well as for the illness that developed as a result, skin problems, medical treatments, the cost of alternative shower facilities or a shower pass, threats, and other inappropriate actions.

Please pray the landlord's conscience is awakened and stirred by the Holy Spirit to do good and repent.

Update: I have been asking for prayers for a month, but there has been no communication, remorse or willingness to compensate me for my suffering.

We come before the throne of grace with heavy hearts, lifting up this situation in the mighty name of Jesus. Father God, we know that You are a God of justice and righteousness, and we ask that You move powerfully in this matter. The electric shocks, resulting illness, skin problems, and the financial burden of medical treatments and alternative facilities are not just inconveniences, they are injustices that cry out for Your intervention.

Lord, we pray that You would stir the landlord’s conscience as only the Holy Spirit can. Soften his heart to recognize the harm caused and the responsibility he bears. Let conviction lead to repentance and repentance to restitution. We declare that no hardness of heart will stand against Your will, and we ask that You break any resistance to doing what is right. Proverbs 21:1 tells us, "The king’s heart is in the Lord’s hand like the watercourses. He turns it wherever he desires." We trust that You can turn this landlord’s heart toward justice and compassion.

We also lift up the emotional and spiritual toll this has taken. The threats and inappropriate actions only add to the weight of this burden. Father, we ask that You heal the wounds, both seen and unseen, that have come from this ordeal. Restore peace where there has been anxiety, strength where there has been weariness, and hope where there has been discouragement. Psalm 34:18-19 reminds us, "Yahweh is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit. Many are the afflictions of the righteous, but Yahweh delivers him out of them all."

We rebuke any spirit of delay or obstruction in this matter. The enemy would love to see this situation drag on, causing further frustration and despair, but we declare that this is not Your will. We stand on Your promise in Isaiah 61:8, "For I, Yahweh, love justice. I hate robbery and iniquity." We ask that You expedite this process and bring about a swift and fair resolution.

If there are legal or practical steps that need to be taken, we pray for wisdom and favor. Guide every conversation, every letter, every interaction so that truth and justice prevail. Let Your light expose any hidden wrongdoing and compel those in authority to act with integrity.

Above all, we pray that Your name would be glorified in this situation. Whether through restitution, repentance, or even the testimony that comes from this trial, let Your goodness and faithfulness shine. We trust that You are working even when we cannot see it, and we choose to wait on You with expectation.

In the precious and powerful name of Jesus, we pray. Amen.

We've been sitting with your request and the update you shared, and we want you to know we hear the exhaustion and frustration in your words. A month of waiting, with no sign of change from your landlord, is deeply wearisome, especially when you're carrying the physical toll of electric shocks, skin problems, and the stress of threats and medical costs. That's a heavy load, and it's not wrong to feel worn down by it.

What stands out to us is that you're not asking for revenge, but for justice and for the landlord's conscience to be awakened. That desire aligns with God's own heart, He sees every hidden act, and He never shrugs at someone using their power to harm another. While we keep praying, it can also be a faithful step to explore what practical avenues are open to you. Sometimes seeking the help of a tenants' rights group, a housing advocate, or even legal counsel isn't a sign of weak faith, it's a responsible way to pursue the justice God cares about. If you haven't already, consider gathering documentation of the incidents and treatments, and look for a local resource that can walk with you through the process. You don't have to sort this out alone.

In the waiting, we're asking God to sustain your own spirit, because prolonged stress and illness can wear down hope itself. We're praying He gives you steady endurance, clear next steps, and people to stand with you. And yes, we are joining you in asking Him to stir that landlord's heart, while entrusting the outcome to the One who makes all things right in His time.

A prayer: Father, you see this painful situation and you do not ignore it. Please bring relief and tangible help, open doors for the compensation and practical support that are needed. Heal the physical effects of these shocks, and let this person know your nearness in the long wait. Work in the landlord's heart, and give wisdom for every conversation and decision ahead. In Jesus' name, amen.

How often does judgment roll down upon men, and yet they repent not to give God glory. The thunder of divine displeasure may crash overhead, the hailstones of affliction may batter the windows of their soul, yet the heart remains as hard as the nether millstone. This landlord, deaf to your plea, unresponsive to your suffering, what is this but that carnal sorrow of the world that works death? A repentance that merely regrets consequence but never turns from sin, never makes restitution, never cries, "I have wronged my neighbor and my God." Do not marvel that a month of asking has yielded nothing but silence. The unawakened conscience is a locked door, and no human hand can force it. True repentance is the gift of the risen Christ, and it comes not by might, nor by power, but by the Spirit of the living God. You have asked that his conscience be stirred; that is a right prayer, for only the Holy Ghost can take the stone out of the flesh and give a heart of flesh. Yet see how the goodness of God is meant to lead him, and you, to repentance. The very delays, the daily breath in his lungs, the space given to make right what is wrong, these are all tokens of a longsuffering God who is not willing that any should perish.

But now, turn your eye from the earthly tenement to the heavenly Landlord. This house of clay you live in, with its faulty wiring and its shocks, has God for its owner, and you are but a tenant at will. The lease you hold is for a fixed term, known only to Him, and the rent due is your whole being, heart, soul, mind, and strength. When you feel the sting of injustice, remember that the Great Landlord has the right at all times to enter His own property. He may permit discomfort, illness, and even the malice of men as part of His sovereign dealings. What is He after in this? Is He not showing you that this world is not your home, that these light afflictions which are but for a moment work for you a far more exceeding and eternal weight of glory? Perhaps He is laying His rod on the shoulder of the other man as well, but the rod is meant to drive him to the cross, not merely to your door with a cheque in hand. Compensation, yes, that is a matter of earthly justice. But soul-compensation at the hands of a pardoning God, that is the great matter. If the landlord were to crawl to you tomorrow with tears and full restitution, yet remain a stranger to the blood of Christ, what is he profited? He would gain a clear account with you but go down to the pit with all his sins upon his head. Pray, then, with that larger view. Ask not only that his conscience be awakened to your injury, but that his heart be broken by the hammer of the Word, that he see his treason against Heaven, and flee to the cleft of the Rock.

You demand practical works meet for repentance, and you do well. True repentance is no mere mist of emotion; it pulls down the ruins and builds up a new obedience. So wait on the Lord, but wait wisely. The absence of communication, the stubborn refusal to own the wrong, this is a bitter cup. Yet godly sorrow is no enemy to the believer; it is sweet Sister Repentance, a charming companion on the road to glory. She teaches you to look away from the shifting sand of human fairness to the immovable rock of divine faithfulness. Let this trial wean you from the love of the world. Let it drive you deeper into the wounds of Jesus, where every injustice is understood and every wound is healed. Is it not a strange mercy that, through these electric shocks and skin afflictions, the Spirit may be jolting you awake to more earnest dealings with your own soul? When Peter thought about his sin, he went out and wept bitterly. Think not upon the landlord’s debt to you, but first upon your debt to God, already paid in full at Calvary, that your heart may dissolve in grateful love. From that high hill of covenant grace, look down upon your adversary. See him as a soul for whom Christ died. Then, whether he repents or stiffens his neck, you will know a peace that passes all understanding, a certainty that Judge of all the earth does right, and that the day is coming when every wrong shall be reversed and every secret thing brought to light.

Therefore, cease fretting because the answer tarries. You have been asking for a month; the Lord has been listening from eternity. The pause is not denial. It is the upper millstone grinding slow but sure. Keep your eye upon the Great Landlord, whose rents are never in arrears, who never shorts His tenants. Observe that repentance is not a single act done at the gate of conversion and then forgotten; it lives as long as faith. So let your own repentance be worked deeper. Mourn the sin of a hasty spirit, of a heart that might seek earthly redress more ardently than it seeks the smile of Jesus. And in that softened frame, lift your petition once more, not as one demanding rights, but as one pleading the mercies of a covenant God. The goodness of God is leading you, not driving you. He is drawing you with cords of a man, with bands of love. Go on praying in Jesus’ mighty name. Not merely for a shower pass or compensation for your skin, but that the blood of sprinkling may speak better things for that poor man than the blood of Abel. That when the great tempest of judgment breaks, he may be found hidden in the Rock of Ages, and you and he may one day walk together upon the golden streets, wondering at the grace that saved two hell-deserving sinners. Then shall you know that this light affliction achieved, by you, an eternal weight of glory, and by him, through your prayers, perhaps a soul saved from death.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.
Matthew 6:33: But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

Do not lose heart because a month has passed without a single word of remorse. The prayers of the righteous are not measured by the clock. When the Lord seems to delay, it is often that He may deepen our trust and reveal the hardness of heart that only grace can soften. The landlord’s silence does not mean the Holy Spirit is idle; the Spirit can stir the conscience long before the lips speak. But remember, true repentance is not a fleeting pang of regret. Esau wept bitter tears and found no place for change because his sorrow was rooted in loss, not in the love of goodness. Pray, then, not merely for compensation, but that this man be granted a godly grief that melts his heart and leads him to make right what he has wronged.

Yet in praying for another’s faults, watch over your own soul. This suffering, the shocks, the illness, the cost and threats, it all presses heavy. But such things can become a spiritual bath for you. They cleanse not the body but the soul, if you bear them with patience and without returning evil for evil. Do not call him impostor or swindler in your heart, for you do not see what passes in secret. Give that judgment to God alone. Continue in prayer, but let your own repentance flow too; let no bitterness take root, lest your own tears be like Esau's. When the time is full, when all seems lost, God often moves swiftly. The truest compensation would be the salvation of that man’s soul, and your own peace in the waiting.

Your suffering has dragged on, and I hear the exhaustion in your words. The silence from the landlord, the ongoing injustice, the physical and financial toll, it all weighs heavily. When relief lingers out of reach, a single month can feel like an age. Yet Scripture prompts us to view these hardships with a longer lens: "Our light affliction, which is but for a moment, worketh for us a far more exceeding and eternal weight of glory." That doesn't minimize your pain; it reframes it against the vast, unshakeable hope secured for you in Christ. The days may crawl now, but this season is passing. God has an eternity of joy, wholeness, and beauty prepared for you, and no earthly wrong can snatch that away. Keep your eyes fixed on that reality, not as an escape, but as an anchor.

In the meantime, God's word remains a living comfort. The psalmist discovered that affliction often serves as a severe mercy, a furnace to purify, not to punish. "Before I was afflicted I went astray, but now have I kept thy word." God does not afflict His children capriciously; He corrects and refines us, drawing us back to safer paths. For you, this trial might be sharpening your dependence on Him, teaching you to plead His promises when human help fails. Let the Scriptures quicken your weary soul. When you feel forgotten, remember that He is good and does good, even when circumstances scream otherwise. You have not perished in this affliction because His law has been your delight and His word has kept you alive. Hold fast to that.

As for the landlord, I join you in asking the Lord to stir his conscience. True repentance is far more than a fleeting pang of guilt or regret over consequences. Worldly sorrow simply mourns getting caught or facing trouble; it leads nowhere but death. Godly sorrow, however, produces a genuine change, a turning away from wrong and a determined movement toward what is right, accompanied by tangible fruit. You are not merely praying for a check or an awkward apology. You are praying the Holy Spirit would bring the landlord to a place where he sees his actions as God sees them, that he would loathe the harm done and run toward restitution and righteousness. Think of how John the Baptist demanded "fruits worthy of repentance" from the religious leaders. Without a transformed heart and amended behavior, tears are just empty noise, like Esau's bitter, fleshly weeping that found no place of repentance, only regret over a lost blessing.

So we pray not for his shame alone, but for his liberation from hardness through the kind of sorrow that leads to salvation. If the Lord grants that, the landlord will not just communicate, he will actively seek to make things right. Until then, guard your heart against the poison of resentment. The affliction is real, but God's purpose in you is to make you more like His Son, who entrusted Himself to the One who judges justly. I'll keep lifting this before the throne of grace, pleading for your physical healing, your financial restoration, and for this man's soul to be awakened. The Judge of all the earth will do right, and no careless deed escapes His notice. Be strengthened in the inner person, knowing that even now, He is working an eternal weight of glory through this momentary trouble.
