Beloved of All
Please pray in Jesus mighty name that the landlord will pay compensation for the problems (electric shocks) that occurred in the apartment due to the lack of electrical safety, as well as for the illness that developed as a result, skin problems, medical treatments, the cost of alternative shower facilities or a shower pass, threats, and other inappropriate actions.

Please pray the landlord's conscience is awakened and stirred by the Holy Spirit to do good and repent.

We come before the throne of grace with heavy hearts, lifting up this situation of injustice and harm caused by negligence. Father God, You are the righteous Judge who sees all and knows the depths of every heart. We ask that You intervene in this matter, bringing truth to light and compelling the landlord to take responsibility for the dangers and suffering caused by unsafe living conditions.

Lord, we pray for full and just compensation, not merely as a legal obligation, but as an act of repentance and restitution. You command in Exodus 22:14, "If a man borrows anything of his neighbor, and it is injured or dies, its owner not being with it, he shall surely make restitution." The landlord is accountable for the harm done, and we ask that You soften their heart to make things right. May they cover medical costs, reimburse expenses, and provide fair compensation for the pain and inconvenience endured.

Holy Spirit, we plead with You to stir the landlord’s conscience. Proverbs 20:27 says, "The spirit of man is Yahweh’s lamp, searching all his innermost parts." Shine Your light into their heart, convicting them of wrongdoing and leading them to repentance. Let them see the suffering they have caused and move them to act with integrity and compassion.

We also pray for healing, physical, emotional, and spiritual, for those who have been affected. You are the Great Physician, and we ask for restoration of health, peace of mind, and strength to endure this trial. May those who have suffered find comfort in Your presence and trust in Your justice.

Father, we declare that no weapon formed against Your children shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17), and we stand on Your promise that You will repay those who have been wronged. We ask for wisdom in how to proceed, whether through legal means or divine intervention, and we trust that You will bring about a resolution that honors You.

In the mighty name of Jesus, we pray, believing that You hear us and will act on behalf of the oppressed. Amen.

We hear how wearing this has been, the shocks, the skin problems, the extra costs, and the heavy feeling of being treated unfairly. When someone in a position of responsibility acts carelessly and then adds threats, it grinds you down in body and spirit. We stand with you in prayer for both justice and an awakening of conscience.

What strikes us is that genuine change in a person’s heart often begins when they see not just the wrong they’ve done, but how it has hurt someone else. We’re praying the Holy Spirit stirs your landlord’s heart in exactly that way, that he would feel the weight of what you’ve suffered and be moved to make things right, not only because it’s required but because it’s good for his own soul. True repentance benefits the one who repents, bringing healing and freedom from guilt.

While we pray, we also want to gently encourage you to take a few concrete steps if you haven’t already. Document every instance: dates, symptoms, photographs of the affected skin, copies of threats, and receipts for medical visits or shower passes. If possible, get a professional electrician’s report on the safety issues. Then consider connecting with a local tenants’ rights organization or seeking a free legal consultation. Many communities have advocacy groups that can help you understand your options and push for compensation. God often works through wise counsel and practical support.

And please, see a doctor if the skin problems persist, physical harm from electric shocks isn’t something to ignore. We’re praying for your complete healing and for the stress to lift.

Lord Jesus, you are the defender of the oppressed and the one who turns hearts. Please bring this landlord to true repentance, not just surface regret, but a deep change that leads him to do right by this tenant. Give our friend wisdom, the right advocates, and steady endurance. Heal the physical effects of these shocks and provide for every need. In your mighty name, amen.

Your complaint is not ultimately with the landlord of brick and mortar, but with the great Landlord of us all, to whom all houses belong. The earthly house of this tabernacle is His, and you are a tenant at will, a pensioner upon His mercy. He has permitted these shocks and this sickness, but remember, He is also the Healer whose leaves from the Tree of Life are for the healing of the nations. Before you demand compensation from man, see to it that you have no unpaid rent of gratitude and obedience to your God.

Yet the prayer for this landlord is right. The same God who commands, “Thou shalt not steal,” also commands, “Repent ye, and believe the gospel.” The demand for repentance is not a faint hope, as when the Ninevites moaned, “Who can tell if God will turn?” We preach it in the name of the risen Christ, with full authority, to every creature. This man, in his hardness of heart, may boast that he is beyond reach, but no man is beyond the arrows of Jehovah. Let your prayer be that the Holy Spirit will sting his conscience, not merely with a trembling beneath the sound of truth, but with that sweet and bitter repentance which breaks the heart and hates the sin, leading him to make restitution as evidence of his sorrow.

As for yourself, do not fall into the error of thinking you must feel a certain measure of anguish over this trial before you may bring it to the Lord. To demand a preparatory depth of feeling is to bar the way for a broken heart. Come just as you are, with your skin troubles and your fear and your sense of injustice. Commune with Him who feels for your sorrows. When you have a respect unto all His commandments, even the hard one of forgiving and trusting, then shall you not be ashamed, for the Lord bestows His compensations with a liberal hand, far exceeding any sum a worldly landlord might pay.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.
Matthew 6:33: But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

You fix your gaze on compensation from a man, on money for your skin, for showers, for threats you have endured. But I ask you, have you given thanks to God for these very trials? When we are wronged, our first impulse is to cry out for justice against the offender, yet the Apostle teaches us to give thanks in all circumstances. In prosperity, gratitude is easy; but in extremities, to bless the Lord who permits suffering, there is the mark of a true Christian. For if you give thanks, your soul is bright, your conscience crowns you, and God is honored. The pain is cut short, and the devil, seeing he gains nothing, departs. But if you grumble and demand recompense as though God saw it not, your calamity is heightened, and you blaspheme the very Providence that trains you for eternity. Why do you cling to these passing things? Skin ailments and electric shocks are momentary; the torment of a soul fixed on earthly redress is unceasing.

You ask that the landlord’s conscience be awakened by the Holy Spirit. That is a good prayer, for the conscience is a tribunal which none escape. Yet beware, lest while you judge him, you neglect your own. The Apostle cries out against those who condemn another while committing the same sins. You call him an impostor, perhaps? An oppressor? But have you never wronged anyone, even in thought? Have you never held bitterness that itself is a shock to the soul? Instead of seeking payment, seek first your own cleansing. The time is short; the day is at hand. Let this trial become for you an occasion of repentance, not litigation. The landlord’s repentance, if it come, will be with tears, but not all tears prove a changed heart, only those that bear the fruit of amendment. So too for you: let your tears be over your own sins, not over the cost of shower passes.

I do not forbid you to ask God for relief, but rather to desire the true healing, which is of the inner man. Worldly compensation passes; the crown of patience endures. Pray, then, that both you and that man may escape the just judgment which awaits all unrepentant sinners, and that you may approach the holy table with a clean conscience, giving thanks in all things.

I am praying with you for the landlord’s heart to be stirred and for this wrong to be made right. What you’re facing, physical harm, illness, and the resulting financial strain, is grievous, and God cares about every detail. We can boldly ask the Holy Spirit to work on that conscience, because no one truly turns from selfishness and injustice without His prompting. The Spirit alone can awaken a heart that has grown hard; He convicts the world of sin and righteousness. So we ask that same Spirit who drew you to Jesus to now press upon your landlord a deep, undeniable sense of wrong that leads to genuine repentance and a willingness to do what is fair.

While we pray for that outward change, I also want to remind you of something vital for the waiting. The Holy Spirit who lives in you was never earned by your own goodness, and His ongoing help doesn’t come because you’ve reached some level of holiness. You received Him by faith when you believed, and that’s the same way you walk forward now, by faith, not by striving to deserve His intervention. It’s a mercy that our prayers aren’t answered because we’ve finally gotten our act together; they rest on the finished work of Christ. So if you feel tempted to think that God will act only when you’ve prayed hard enough, or when you’ve proven something, step back and rest in the gift He has already given. The Holy Spirit is God’s seal on you, the down payment that guarantees full redemption, body and circumstances included. That truth steadies you when earthly justice stalls.

As we lift your case, we trust the Spirit who guides and empowers the Church to also open doors no human authority can shut. He can bring about restitution and even change a landlord’s heart far more effectively than any pressure you could manufacture. At the same time, let His presence bear witness with your spirit that you are a child of God, loved and secure, no matter the outcome. Yield to that inner witness so that fear and bitterness don’t rule your thoughts. The Spirit is perfecting love in you, enabling you to stand firm without hate, to pursue what is right without becoming consumed by the fight. So we pray together: Father, in Jesus’ mighty name, awaken this landlord’s conscience by Your Holy Spirit. Bring swift compensation for every harm caused, and heal the illness and skin problems completely. Provide for every practical need, and let Your justice be done. And keep Your child rooted in faith, resting in the Spirit’s power rather than human effort. Amen.
