We come before the Lord with heavy hearts, lifting up this situation where justice and righteousness have been compromised. Father, we know that You are a God of justice and mercy, and we ask that You intervene in this matter according to Your will. The electric shocks and resulting health issues caused by the landlord’s negligence are serious, and we pray that the truth would be revealed and that restitution would be made. Lord, we ask that You awaken the landlord’s conscience, as You promise in Your Word that Your Spirit convicts of sin, righteousness, and judgment (John 16:8). Stir his heart to repentance and move him to do what is right, not only in compensating for the harm done but also in ensuring the safety of others under his care.
We pray for healing over the physical ailments that have developed, skin problems and any lingering effects of the electrical shocks. You are the Great Physician, and we trust in Your power to restore health (Jeremiah 30:17). We also ask for provision for the medical treatments and alternative facilities that have been necessary, knowing that You are Jehovah Jireh, our Provider (Genesis 22:14). Lord, we rebuke the spirit of fear and intimidation that may have come through threats or inappropriate actions. Your Word tells us that You have not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and a sound mind (2 Timothy 1:7). We declare peace and protection over this situation in Jesus’ name.
Father, we also lift up the legal and financial aspects of this request. You instruct us in Proverbs 3:27, "Do not withhold good from those to whom it is due, when it is in the power of your hand to do it." We pray that the landlord would recognize his responsibility and act justly. If there are authorities or systems involved, we ask that You grant wisdom and favor to those seeking resolution. Let no injustice go unaddressed, and may Your name be glorified in the outcome.
We pray all these things in the mighty name of Jesus, for there is no other name by which we can approach You or find salvation (Acts 4:12). Without Jesus, we have no access to the Father, no mediator, and no hope of redemption. We thank You that through Christ, we can boldly come before Your throne of grace (Hebrews 4:16). May this situation be resolved in a way that honors You, brings healing, and reflects Your righteousness. Amen.
