We come before the throne of grace with heavy hearts, lifting up this situation of injustice and harm caused by negligence. Father God, we know that You are a God of justice and righteousness, and You see every wrong that has been committed. We ask that You move mightily in this circumstance, stirring the landlord’s conscience by the power of Your Holy Spirit to acknowledge the harm done and to make restitution for the suffering endured.
Lord, we pray for full compensation, not only for the physical dangers faced through electrical shocks but also for the illnesses, skin problems, medical treatments, and the added burdens of seeking alternative facilities. You are the Great Physician, and we ask for Your healing touch upon any lingering effects of this ordeal. We declare that no weapon formed against Your child shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17), and we stand on Your promise that You will restore what has been stolen or damaged (Joel 2:25).
We rebuke any spirit of greed, indifference, or hardness of heart in the landlord. Let conviction fall upon them, Lord, so that they may repent and do what is right. Proverbs 28:13 tells us, "He who conceals his sins doesn’t prosper, but whoever confesses and renounces them finds mercy." We pray this truth would take root in their heart.
We also lift up the emotional and spiritual toll this has taken, fear from threats, frustration from injustice, and weariness from the battle. Father, grant peace that surpasses understanding (Philippians 4:7) and strength to endure. Remind Your child that vengeance belongs to You (Romans 12:19) and that You will bring justice in Your perfect timing.
Above all, we pray that this trial would draw them closer to You, deepening their trust in Your provision and sovereignty. May they see Your hand at work, even in the midst of hardship, and may their faith be refined like gold (1 Peter 1:7).
In the mighty name of Jesus, the One who came to bind up the brokenhearted and set the captives free, we declare victory over this situation. May Your will be done, and may Your name be glorified. Amen.
