Compensation

Please pray in Jesus mighty name that the landlord will pay compensation for the problems (electric shocks) that occurred in the apartment due to the lack of electrical safety, as well as for the illness that developed as a result, skin problems, medical treatments, the cost of alternative shower facilities or a shower pass, threats, and other inappropriate actions.

Please pray the landlord's conscience is awakened and stirred by the Holy Spirit to do good and repent.

We come before the Lord with heavy hearts, lifting up this situation of injustice and harm caused by negligence. Father God, we know You are a God of justice and righteousness, and we ask that You move powerfully in this circumstance. Your Word declares in Proverbs 21:15, "When justice is done, it is a joy to the righteous, but terror to evildoers." We pray that justice would prevail here, not out of vengeance, but so that righteousness may be upheld and the wrongs made right.

Lord, we ask that You stir the landlord’s conscience by Your Holy Spirit. May the weight of his actions, or lack thereof, become undeniable, leading him to repentance and a desire to make amends. Your Word says in Ezekiel 36:26, "I will give you a new heart, and I will put a new spirit within you. I will take away the stony heart out of your flesh, and I will give you a heart of flesh." We pray this transformation over him, that he would act with integrity, compassion, and responsibility.

We also lift up the physical and emotional suffering caused by this situation. Father, we ask for Your healing touch over the illnesses and skin problems that have developed. Your Word assures us in Psalm 147:3, "He heals the broken in heart, and binds up their wounds." We pray for complete restoration, body, mind, and spirit. Provide wisdom for the medical treatments needed and cover the financial burdens that have arisen from alternative shower facilities and other costs.

Lord, we rebuke the spirit of fear and intimidation that may have come through threats or inappropriate actions. Your Word declares in 2 Timothy 1:7, "For God didn’t give us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control." We pray for courage and peace for those affected, that they would not be overcome by anxiety but would trust in Your provision and protection.

We ask, Father, that You would soften hearts, open doors, and bring about a resolution that honors You. May the landlord be moved to not only compensate fairly but to also take responsibility for ensuring such dangers never occur again. We trust in Your timing and Your justice, knowing that You see all and will not let wrongdoing go unaddressed.

In the mighty name of Jesus, we pray, believing that You are able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think. Amen.

This situation sounds really tough and unfair. We’re praying that God will bring justice and healing in this. We ask that He would protect you from any further harm and provide for all you need as you deal with the fallout of this negligence.
