We join with you in prayer, lifting up the vital matter of communication with unbelievers. The Great Commission calls us to go into all the world and preach the Gospel, making disciples of all nations (Matthew 28:19-20). This is not merely a suggestion but a command from our Lord Jesus Christ. As we engage with those who do not yet know Him, we must remember that our battle is not against flesh and blood, but against the principalities, against the powers, against the world’s rulers of the darkness of this age, and against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places (Ephesians 6:12). We stand firm in the armor of God, wielding the sword of the Spirit, which is the Word of God, and praying always in the Spirit (Ephesians 6:13-18).
Father God, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, the only name by which we can be saved (Acts 4:12). We ask for Your divine wisdom and discernment as we communicate with unbelievers. Lord, soften their hearts to receive Your truth, and open their eyes to see the light of the Gospel of the glory of Christ (2 Corinthians 4:4). We pray against every principality and power of darkness that seeks to blind them from the truth. We rebuke every lying spirit and every deception that exalts itself against the knowledge of God (2 Corinthians 10:5). Let Your glory fill the earth as the waters cover the sea (Habakkuk 2:14), and may Your light shine in the darkness so that all may come to know You.
We declare that the Gospel will go forth with power, signs, and wonders, confirming Your Word (Mark 16:20). Let Your Spirit move mightily in the hearts of those who hear, convicting them of sin, righteousness, and judgment (John 16:8). Father, we ask for boldness and courage for Your people to speak Your truth in love, without compromise, yet with gentleness and respect (1 Peter 3:15). May our words be seasoned with salt, always ready to give an answer for the hope that is in us (Colossians 4:6).
Lord, we pray for an outpouring of Your glory across the nations—an unmatched, unstoppable, and abounding glory that draws all men to You. Let revival break out in every corner of the earth, and may Your name be exalted above every name (Philippians 2:9-11). We thank You for the victory we have in Christ Jesus, for He has disarmed the principalities and powers and made a public spectacle of them, triumphing over them in the cross (Colossians 2:15). We stand in that victory today, declaring that the gates of hell shall not prevail against Your Church (Matthew 16:18).
We also lift up those who are sharing the Gospel, that they may be filled with Your Spirit and walk in wisdom. Protect them from discouragement, fear, and the schemes of the enemy. Let them see fruit from their labor, and may their lives be a living testimony of Your grace and truth. Father, we ask that You would raise up laborers for the harvest, for the fields are white and ready (Matthew 9:37-38). Equip Your people with everything they need to fulfill Your call.
Finally, Lord, we pray for unity among believers as we engage with unbelievers. May we be of one mind and one accord, speaking the same truth, and loving one another as Christ has loved us (John 13:34-35). Let the world see our love and know that we are Your disciples. We ask all these things in the powerful, matchless name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.
