Father God,
I come before you asking you to come into my home and bring peace, love, forgiveness, understanding, healing, happiness. In the mighty Name of Jesus Christ I ask that you come to my fiancé and my daughter. Soften their hearts. Bring forgiveness and healing to them. It hurts me more than anyone realizes to see the way they are towards each other and to think that it's my fault. In the mighty Name of Jesus Christ relieve them from any trauma they may be experiencing. In the mighty Name of Jesus Christ I ask that you guide my daughter into making the choices when it comes to her boyfriend. I pray with all my heart that she doesn't go down my path and make the same mistake I did. In the mighty Name of Jesus Christ I ask that you guide me into making the right decisions when it comes to parenting my children. I ask In mighty Name of Jesus Christ that my sons listen to me inside and outside our home. In the mighty Name of Jesus Christ let my prayer be adjusted according to the will of God. Lord, I need you, I thank you, I trust you, I love you. In Jesus Christ Name I pray Amen.

We join you in your heartfelt prayer, standing in agreement for God's intervention in your home and family. We are reminded of Jesus' words in Matthew 18:19-20 WEB: "Again, assuredly I tell you, that if two of you will agree on earth concerning anything that they will ask, it will be done for them by my Father who is in heaven. For where two or three are gathered together in my name, there I am in the middle of them."

Firstly, we praise God that you acknowledged the power in the name of Jesus Christ, for it is by His name that we have access to the Father and it is the only name given under heaven whereby we can be saved. Acts 4:12 “There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved.”

We pray that God will indeed bring peace, love, forgiveness, understanding, healing, and happiness into your home. May His Holy Spirit soften the hearts of your fiancé and daughter, and bring forgiveness and healing to their relationship. We rebuke any spirit of guilt that may be causing you to feel that their strained relationship is your fault. Remember, condemnation is from the enemy, but conviction and forgiveness are from the Lord. Romans 8:1-2 WEB: "There is therefore now no condemnation to those who are in Christ Jesus, who don’t walk according to the flesh, but according to the Spirit. For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus made me free from the law of sin and of death."

Regarding your concern for your daughter, we pray that she will seek God's will in her courtship and that the Lord will guide her steps. Remember Proverbs 3:5-6 WEB: "Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight." We encourage you to teach her the importance of purity before marriage and the sanctity of marriage itself. You do not want her to simply look for a boyfriend but to look for a godly spouse that can lead her to better serve God and have a better marriage to a Believer in Christ. We pray for her to listen to your wisdom and guidance. 1 Timothy 4:12 WEB: "Let no man despise your youth; but be an example to those who believe, in word, in your way of life, in love, in spirit, in faith, and in purity."

We also pray for wisdom in parenting your children, and we agree that your sons will listen to you both inside and outside your home. Ephesians 6:4 WEB: "Fathers, don’t provoke your children to wrath, but nurture them in the discipline and instruction of the Lord."

We trust that God will adjust your prayer according to His perfect will. Romans 8:26-28 WEB: "In the same way, the Spirit also helps our weaknesses, for we don’t know how to pray as we ought. But the Spirit himself makes intercession for us with groanings which can’t be uttered. He who searches the hearts knows what is on the Spirit’s mind, because he makes intercession for the saints according to God. We know that all things work together for good for those who love God, to those who are called according to his purpose."
