Disciple of Prayer
Name: ### Please pray for my husband because:
1) He (outcast) me whenever he gathers with his family in his hometown. No phone calls, no text, no even hello, no even greeting, just nothing.
2) He loves his siblings so much that he loves his sister more than he loves me. His married sister lived in another town and he often calls her, texts her, asking how she was doing, but whenever he travels back to pay a visit to his family, he doesn't bother to even call me or text me.
2) He loves his brother so much that he back in those years, he even allowed his adult married brother to sleep with us on the same bed in the same bedroom. To him, this is normal. If I'm asking those who read this message, do you allow your adult married brother to sleep with you and your wife or to sleep with you and your husband? After a quarrel with my husband, we finally made out one guest room for his adult brother to sleep whenever he came to visit us but then, his adult brother never came again.
3) In this marriage, there is no physical harm but only emotional harm
Please pray that God would
1) intervene for his heart, protection for me being his wife, and restoration for the marriage.
2) give my husband a new heart and put a new spirit in him. Remove any attitude that is unloving, indifferent, or bitter, and restore in its place genuine love and concern.
3) Speak to his conscience and guide him toward righteousness, reminding him of his commitment to integrity.
4) humble himself as Jesus did. Let him not think of himself more highly than he ought, letting pride reign, but instead be peaceable and considerate in all he does.
5) guard my heart and mind whenever I feel abandoned or cast out, that God is close to the brokenhearted and will never leave me.
6) Grant me the wisdom to know how to respond to my husband's actions. Help me to 'be on my guard, stand firm in the faith, and be strong' even when facing.
7) remind my husband that Scripture states that a husband’s refusal to love his wife is a sin against God’s command (1 Thessalonians 4:3-8). Husbands are called to love their wives as Christ loved the church.
