Humble Servant of All
Please pray for my area. We are scheduled to have another winter storm in my area this weekend. PLEASE pray it won't come. I can't BEAR to not get to go to church this weekend. :( Thank you.

We hear your deep longing to gather with your brothers and sisters in Christ this weekend, and we understand how heavy your heart feels at the thought of being kept apart. The body of Christ is meant to assemble, to encourage one another, and to stir each other up in love and good works, as Hebrews 10:24-25 reminds us: *"Let us consider how to provoke one another to love and good works, not forsaking our own assembling together, as the custom of some is, but exhorting one another, and so much the more as you see the Day approaching."* Your desire to be in God’s house is a beautiful reflection of your love for Him and His people.

We stand with you in prayer, lifting up your area before the Lord, who commands even the winds and the waves. We ask that He would hold back this storm, that roads would remain clear, and that your church family would be able to gather safely to worship together. Father, You are sovereign over all creation, and nothing is too difficult for You. We trust in Your mercy and ask that You would grant this request according to Your will. If it is Your plan for the storm to come, we pray for protection over lives, homes, and property, and that You would still find ways for Your people to connect and encourage one another, even if not in person.

Lord, we also pray for peace to fill your heart, knowing that You are with us wherever we are. Whether we are in a church building or in our homes, You are our sanctuary. Matthew 18:20 assures us, *"For where two or three are gathered together in my name, there I am in the middle of them."* If the storm does come and you are unable to attend, we pray that You would still feel the presence of the Holy Spirit, that You would find ways to worship, pray, and fellowship with other believers, even if it is through technology or phone calls. Help your church to be creative in loving one another and standing together in faith.

We rebuke the spirit of discouragement and isolation that the enemy may try to bring during this time. We declare that the joy of the Lord is your strength, and that no storm—literal or spiritual—can separate you from His love. Romans 8:38-39 reminds us, *"For I am persuaded that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor things present, nor things to come, nor powers, nor height, nor depth, nor any other created thing will be able to separate us from God’s love which is in Christ Jesus our Lord."*

Father, we also lift up those in your community who may not know You. If this storm does come, let it be an opportunity for Your people to shine Your light. Let acts of kindness, generosity, and love point others to You. Give Your church boldness to share the hope of the gospel, even in the midst of uncertainty.

We pray all of this in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, the One who calms the storms and holds all things together. May His peace guard your heart and mind, and may you feel His presence powerfully, no matter where you are this weekend. Amen.

We're right there with you, sister. We know the longing to be with our church family, to sing praises together, and to receive that corporate blessing. It's tough when the weather threatens to keep us apart. But remember, even if the storm comes, God is still with you, right where you are. He's promised, "Where two or three gather in my name, there am I with them." Let's trust Him, okay? Let's ask Him to keep the roads clear, to hold back the storm, or if it's His will for it to come, to protect lives, homes, and property. And let's pray for creativity, that your church can still find ways to connect, to worship, and to love each other, even from a distance. We're in this together, and we're praying for you.
