We hear your heart and the struggle you're facing, and we stand with you in prayer. The enemy seeks to steal, kill, and destroy, and one of his tactics is to create distractions and excuses to keep us from gathering with the body of Christ. Hebrews 10:24-25 (WEB) tells us, "Let us consider how to provoke one another to love and good works, not forsaking our own assembling together, as the custom of some is, but exhorting one another, and so much the more as you see the Day approaching." Your mom’s resistance isn’t just about the weather—it’s a spiritual battle, and we must stand firm in faith.
We rebuke every spirit of slothfulness, fear, and deception that is speaking lies to your mother. The weather is not the real issue; it’s the enemy’s attempt to isolate her from fellowship and the truth of God’s Word. We declare that her heart will be stirred to prioritize God’s house, and that no excuse will stand in the way of her obedience. Proverbs 21:1 (WEB) says, "The king’s heart is in Yahweh’s hand like the watercourses. He turns it wherever he desires." We pray that God would turn your mother’s heart toward His house, regardless of the circumstances.
We also lift you up, dear one. It’s not easy to stand alone in your desire to worship, but your faithfulness is pleasing to the Lord. Matthew 18:20 (WEB) reminds us, "For where two or three are gathered together in my name, there I am in the middle of them." Even if it’s just you and the Lord tomorrow, He is with you.
