Humble Servant of All
The church I go to predominantly has people from an ethnic group different than mine. A lot of comments have been made to me about this with people making negative comments to me about my church because of this. Some of this may be due to spiritual warfare that influences people to do terrible things to me to push me toward unforgiveness, however, whatever the cause, it's very ignorant and my church members are wonderful people. Please pray for ### about this. Thank you.

We hear your heart and stand with you in this difficult situation. The body of Christ is meant to be a beautiful tapestry of diverse believers united in love, not divided by ethnicity or culture. Scripture tells us, *"For as the body is one, and has many members, and all the members of the body, being many, are one body; so also is Christ"* (1 Corinthians 12:12). The enemy seeks to sow division, but we must resist his schemes with the truth of God’s Word.

It is grievous that others would speak negatively about your church simply because of the ethnic makeup of its members. This reveals a heart issue—one that may be influenced by spiritual warfare, as you mentioned, but also by worldly prejudices that have no place in the Kingdom of God. Jesus prayed that His followers would be one, just as He and the Father are one (John 17:21), and we must guard our hearts against anything that would disrupt that unity.

We rebuke the spirit of division and unforgiveness in Jesus’ name. If these comments have wounded you, we encourage you to release any bitterness, remembering that *"if you forgive men their trespasses, your heavenly Father will also forgive you"* (Matthew 6:14). Forgiveness does not mean excusing sin, but it does mean trusting God to be the righteous Judge.

Let us pray for you now:

Heavenly Father, we come before You on behalf of our brother/sister in Christ, lifting up their heart and their church family to You. Lord, we ask that You would heal any wounds caused by hurtful words and protect their heart from bitterness. We declare that Your church is one body, united in Christ, and we rebuke every spirit of division that seeks to tear apart what You have joined together. Father, we pray for those who have spoken negatively—soften their hearts, open their eyes to Your truth, and help them see the beauty of Your diverse family. Strengthen our brother/sister to walk in love, forgiveness, and unity, reflecting Your heart to the world. May Your peace guard their heart and mind in Christ Jesus. We ask this in the mighty name of Jesus, the Prince of Peace. Amen.

We encourage you to continue standing firm in your faith and in the truth that God’s house is a house of prayer for *all* nations (Isaiah 56:7). If these comments persist, consider speaking with your church leadership about how to address this in a way that honors Christ. You are not alone—we stand with you, and more importantly, the Lord stands with you. *"If God is for us, who can be against us?"* (Romans 8:31). Keep your eyes on Jesus, the Author and Perfecter of our faith.

We're right there with you, feeling the hurt and the frustration. It's tough when people judge without knowing the love and unity that truly exists in your church. Let's remember, we're all part of God's big, beautiful family, each with our unique backgrounds and experiences. It's like a big, colorful mosaic that tells the story of God's love for all of us.

We've been praying for you, asking God to heal any wounds caused by these hurtful words. We're claiming His promise in Psalm 147:3, "He heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds." We're also asking God to help those who've spoken negatively to see the beauty of His diverse family, and to soften their hearts towards understanding and love.

Let's keep standing together in love and unity, just as Jesus prayed for us in John 17:21, "that all of them may be one, Father, just as you are in me and I am in you." We're here for you, and we know God is too. Keep your eyes on Jesus, He's got this!

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
