Servant of All
Please pray for me about the church I recently joined as I love the church so deeply but feel like I am constantly saying/doing the wrong things or insulting things and I'm not doing it on purpose at all. I firmly believe this is a result of demonic attacks I have been experiencing for the past few years which I firmly believe are happening due to witchcraft attacks from my enemies.

We understand your deep love for the church and your heartfelt desire to honor God within it, and we commend you for recognizing the spiritual battle at hand. The enemy seeks to steal, kill, and destroy (John 10:10), and it is no surprise that he would target someone who is passionate about the body of Christ. However, we must remember that greater is He who is in us than he who is in the world (1 John 4:4). Your struggles are not a reflection of your worth in Christ or your place in His kingdom, but rather a sign that you are a threat to the enemy’s plans.

The Bible reminds us in Ephesians 6:12, *"For our wrestling is not against flesh and blood, but against the principalities, against the powers, against the world’s rulers of the darkness of this age, and against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places."* If you are indeed facing spiritual attacks, it is crucial to stand firm in the armor of God—truth, righteousness, the gospel of peace, faith, salvation, and the Word of God (Ephesians 6:13-17). You must also be sober and vigilant, for your adversary the devil walks about like a roaring lion, seeking whom he may devour (1 Peter 5:8). Resist him, steadfast in faith, knowing that your brothers and sisters around the world are undergoing the same sufferings (1 Peter 5:9).

That said, we must also consider whether there may be areas in your walk where the Lord is calling you to grow in humility, wisdom, or self-control. Even if the enemy is at work, we are still responsible for our words and actions. James 3:2 tells us, *"For we all stumble in many things. Anyone who doesn’t stumble in word is a perfect person, able to bridle the whole body also."* If you find yourself repeatedly saying or doing things that cause offense, it may be wise to seek godly counsel from a mature believer in your church—someone who can speak truth into your life with love and help you discern whether these struggles are purely spiritual attacks or if there are areas where the Lord is refining you.

We also encourage you to examine your heart for any unforgiveness, bitterness, or fear that may be giving the enemy a foothold. Ephesians 4:26-27 warns, *"‘Be angry, and don’t sin.’ Don’t let the sun go down on your wrath, and don’t give place to the devil."* If there are people you need to forgive or sins you need to repent of, now is the time to bring them before the Lord. Witchcraft and demonic attacks thrive in environments of unconfessed sin, strife, and division. But when we walk in repentance, unity, and love, we disarm the enemy’s schemes.

Lastly, we notice that your request did not invoke the name of Jesus Christ, and we must gently but firmly remind you that there is no other name under heaven by which we are saved, and there is no other name by which we can approach the Father (Acts 4:12, John 14:6). It is only through the blood of Jesus that we have authority over the enemy, and it is only in His name that we can pray with power and confidence. If you have not already, we urge you to place your full trust in Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior. Romans 10:9 says, *"that if you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved."* There is no victory apart from Him, and there is no prayer that reaches the Father’s ears unless it is offered in the name of His Son.

Let us pray together for you:

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty and holy name of Jesus Christ, lifting up our brother/sister who is deeply burdened by the spiritual battles they are facing. Lord, we thank You for their love for Your church and their desire to walk in a manner worthy of Your calling. We ask that You surround them with Your hedge of protection and break every scheme of the enemy that seeks to bring confusion, division, or shame into their life.

Lord, if there are demonic forces at work, we rebuke them now in the name of Jesus Christ. We declare that no weapon formed against them shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17) and that every tongue that rises against them in judgment shall be condemned. Father, expose any hidden sin, unforgiveness, or fear that may be giving the enemy a foothold, and grant them the grace to repent and walk in freedom. Fill them with Your Holy Spirit, that they may speak with wisdom, love, and self-control, and that their words may bring life and not death (Proverbs 18:21).

We pray for godly mentors and leaders in their church to come alongside them, offering guidance, correction, and encouragement as needed. Help them to receive correction with humility and to grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ. Strengthen their faith, Lord, and remind them that they are more than a conqueror through Christ who loves them (Romans 8:37).

Father, we also pray that You would break any curses, hexes, or witchcraft that have been spoken against them. We declare that Christ has redeemed them from every curse (Galatians 3:13) and that they are seated with Christ in heavenly places, far above all principalities and powers (Ephesians 2:6). Let Your light shine so brightly in their life that every darkness must flee.

We ask all these things in the precious and powerful name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, who has all authority in heaven and on earth. Amen.

We're right there with you, friend. We understand the depth of your love for the church and the frustration you're feeling. It's like you're in a spiritual tug-of-war, and it's exhausting. But remember, the enemy can't stand to see you passionate about God's house, so he's doing everything he can to trip you up.

We've been praying for you, asking God to strengthen you and give you wisdom. We've been binding the enemy's attacks and declaring your freedom in Jesus' name. We're also asking God to reveal any areas in your life where you might need to grow, and to help you walk in humility, wisdom, and self-control.

We've been interceding for you, asking God to protect you, to expose any hidden sin or fear, and to fill you with His Holy Spirit. We're also praying for godly mentors in your church to come alongside you, offering guidance and encouragement.

Keep fighting the good fight, dear one. Remember, greater is He who is in you than he who is in the world. You're not alone in this. We're standing with you, and so is the entire body of Christ. Keep your eyes fixed on Jesus, and keep walking in His love and truth. We believe in you, and we know that God is going to turn this around for your good and His glory. Keep trusting, keep praying, and keep fighting. You've got this, in Jesus' mighty name. Amen.

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
