Please pray for me. I am going to try to go to church tonight even though I am on my menstrual cycle. When I am on my menstrual cycle, I have horrible spiritual warfare and I am worried that people may be mean to me at church because that's the kind of spiritual warfare I experience - people just acting horribly toward me. I love this church so much. I don't want anything to go wrong here because I desperately want to join this church. I also just love being at church in general and I am so tired of not being able to go to church when my cycle is on out of fear that people may start attacking me due to spiritual warfare. Please pray.

We lift you up before the Lord, dear sister, and we commend your heart’s desire to gather with the body of Christ despite the spiritual battles you face. It is beautiful that you love the church and long to be in fellowship, for Scripture tells us not to neglect meeting together, but to encourage one another all the more as we see the Day approaching (Hebrews 10:25). Your struggle is real, and we want you to know that the enemy seeks to isolate God’s people, but Jesus has already overcome the world (John 16:33). You are not alone in this fight—He is with you, and His power is greater than any spiritual warfare you may endure.

First, let us address the fear and spiritual attacks you experience during this time. The Word of God assures us that we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against spiritual forces of evil (Ephesians 6:12). The enemy may use this season of your cycle to bring discouragement, fear, or even hostility from others, but remember that greater is He who is in you than he who is in the world (1 John 4:4). You must stand firm in the authority of Christ, putting on the full armor of God—truth, righteousness, the gospel of peace, faith, salvation, and the Word of God (Ephesians 6:13-17). When you feel the weight of spiritual oppression, speak the name of Jesus aloud, for at His name, every knee must bow, in heaven, on earth, and under the earth (Philippians 2:10).

We also want to gently remind you that there is no biblical basis for avoiding church or fellowship because of your menstrual cycle. Some may mistakenly believe old covenant laws about ceremonial uncleanness still apply, but Jesus fulfilled the law (Matthew 5:17), and through His sacrifice, we are made clean. The New Testament teaches that in Christ, there is no longer any separation between us and God based on physical conditions (Colossians 2:16-17). You are welcome in His presence always, and no spiritual attack can change that truth. If anyone treats you unkindly, remember that their actions do not define you—Christ does. Pray for them, bless them, and trust that the Lord will vindicate you (Romans 12:14).

As for joining this church, we pray that the Lord will open the doors wide for you if it is His will. Seek His guidance in prayer, asking for wisdom and discernment about this body of believers. A healthy church will welcome you with love, not judgment, and will walk with you through spiritual battles, not add to them. If this is where the Lord is leading you, He will make the way clear. If not, He will redirect your steps to a place where you can grow and thrive in Him.

Lastly, we notice that your request did not invoke the name of Jesus, and we want to gently but firmly remind you that there is no other name under heaven by which we are saved or through which we can approach the Father (Acts 4:12, John 14:6). It is only through Jesus that we have access to God’s throne of grace, and it is in His name that we pray, rebuke the enemy, and find our strength. If you have not already, we urge you to place your full trust in Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior. Confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, and you will be saved (Romans 10:9). There is no greater protection, no greater peace, and no greater victory than what is found in Him.

Now, let us pray for you:

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, lifting up our sister who is battling spiritual warfare and fear. Lord, we ask that You surround her with Your angels, encamping around her as she steps into Your house tonight. Let no weapon formed against her prosper (Isaiah 54:17), and let every tongue that rises against her in judgment be condemned. Fill her with Your peace that surpasses all understanding, guarding her heart and mind in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7).

We rebuke every spirit of fear, oppression, and division that seeks to keep her from fellowship with Your people. By the blood of Jesus, we break every curse, every lie, and every scheme of the enemy that would make her feel unwelcome or unworthy. Lord, let her experience Your love tangibly through the body of Christ tonight. Soften the hearts of those around her, and let them see her through Your eyes—precious, redeemed, and deeply loved.

If it is Your will, Father, we ask that You open the door for her to join this church, that she may find a community where she can grow, serve, and be discipled in Your Word. Give her wisdom to recognize Your leading, and courage to follow where You guide. And if there are any areas of her heart that need healing or surrender, we ask that You would reveal them to her gently and draw her closer to You.

We declare that she is more than a conqueror through Christ who loves her (Romans 8:37). No spiritual attack, no fear, and no circumstance can separate her from Your love. Strengthen her, Lord, and let her testimony be one of Your faithfulness and victory.

In the powerful and holy name of Jesus, we pray. Amen.

We're right there with you, sister. We understand that this time of your cycle can be challenging, but remember, God is with you every step of the way. Let's claim these promises together:

"For God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power and of love and of a sound mind." (2 Timothy 1:7)

"Greater is He who is in you than he who is in the world." (1 John 4:4)

We pray that as you enter the church tonight, you would feel God's presence strongly, His love enveloping you. We ask that any spirits of fear, oppression, or discouragement be cast away in Jesus' name. We declare that you are welcome, loved, and valued in God's house.

We also pray for wisdom and discernment regarding the church you're trying to join. We trust that God will make His will clear to you, and that you will find a place where you can grow and serve Him.

And finally, we encourage you to keep Jesus at the center of your prayers. He is our shield, our strength, and our victory. Trust in Him, and you will find peace and courage.

We're praying for you, sister. You're not alone. Let's stand together in faith, knowing that God is for us.
