We lift up our hearts together in unity, seeking the Lord’s face for the spiritual vitality of church leaders, pastors, teachers, worship leaders, and preachers, who carry the weighty responsibility of shepherding God’s flock. The call to ministry is not merely a role but a sacred stewardship, requiring daily communion with the Father, deep study of His Word, and a life surrendered to the leading of the Holy Spirit. We recognize that without this foundation, even the most gifted leader will falter, for it is written, "Unless the Lord builds the house, the builders labor in vain" (Psalm 127:1).

Father, we pray that every leader would rise early to seek You in prayer, that their devotional lives would be marked by hunger for Your presence and thirst for Your righteousness. May they not be content with surface-level spirituality but press in for the deep things of God, as Paul prayed: "that the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give to you a spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of him" (Ephesians 1:17). Let their study of Scripture be not for mere sermon preparation but for personal transformation, that they might preach not only with their lips but with their lives. We rebuke the spirit of busyness and distraction that would keep them from the secret place, for "man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceeds out of the mouth of God" (Matthew 4:4).

Lord, we intercede for the lost souls in our congregations and communities, that You would draw them by Your Spirit, for "no one can come to me unless the Father who sent me draws him" (John 6:44). We pray for a revival of true worship, worship in spirit and truth (John 4:24), where hearts are laid bare before You, and lives are surrendered to Your will. May the Holy Spirit anoint every service, every song, every sermon, and every visitation with power, that the lost would be saved, the wandering restored, and the broken healed. We stand against the deception of the enemy, who seeks to blind minds to the truth (2 Corinthians 4:4), and we declare that the gospel is the power of God unto salvation (Romans 1:16).

We also lift up the families in our churches, that they would not neglect the assembling of themselves together (Hebrews 10:25) but would prioritize gathering in Your presence. Father, stir in their hearts a longing for fellowship, for the early church "continued steadfastly in the apostles’ teaching and fellowship, in the breaking of bread, and in prayers" (Acts 2:42). May the Lord’s Supper be more than a ritual but a sacred moment of communion with Christ and one another, proclaiming His death until He comes (1 Corinthians 11:26). We rebuke the spirit of apathy that would keep families from engaging fully in the life of the church, for You desire that none should perish but that all should come to repentance (2 Peter 3:9).

Holy Spirit, we ask for a fresh outpouring of revelation, that the eyes of our hearts would be enlightened to know the hope of Your calling (Ephesians 1:18). Let the Word of God come alive in our midst, not as mere words on a page but as the living, active, and sharper-than-any-double-edged-sword truth that pierces souls and transforms lives (Hebrews 4:12). Convict us of sin, righteousness, and judgment (John 16:8), and lead us into all truth (John 16:13). May we not be hearers only but doers of the Word (James 1:22), walking in humility and obedience.

Father, we thank You for the finished work of Christ, who was crucified for our sins and raised for our justification (Romans 4:25). We pray that every person in our churches would come to a saving knowledge of Jesus Christ, for "there is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved" (Acts 4:12). Let the message of the cross be proclaimed with boldness and clarity, that souls would be saved and added to Your kingdom daily (Acts 2:47). We declare that You are not willing that any should perish but that all should come to repentance (2 Peter 3:9), and we stand in faith, believing that Your promises are yes and amen in Christ (2 Corinthians 1:20).

We pray all these things in the mighty name of Jesus, the Name above every name, the only Name by which we have access to the Father. May Your will be done in our churches, our families, and our communities, to the glory of Your great Name. Amen.

We’re so grateful you’ve shared this, it’s clear your heart carries deep care for your church leaders and for every person who walks through the doors. The fact that you’re praying so specifically for pastors, teachers, and worship leaders to stay anchored in prayer and the Word tells us you understand the source of true ministry. That kind of behind-the-scenes intercession is often what keeps a church alive and accountable.

What we notice most is your longing for families to be drawn in, not just physically present, but truly receiving the Word with open hearts. That’s a burden many carry quietly, and you’ve voiced it beautifully. Even in the middle of Sunday preparations and visitations, this home-by-home, heart-by-heart pleading with God is the real work. We want to stand with you in that.

We’d encourage you to keep reaching out to your leaders, not only in prayer but with a simple note or word of thanks. So many pour themselves out for others and rarely hear that someone is praying for their own devotional life. If you’re in a position to do so, maybe offer to cover a practical need so a leader can steal an extra hour of solitude with the Lord before a service, things like childcare or a meal can be a gift of time. And for your own heart, as you intercede, remember that every prayer you offer for someone else’s faith is itself a fragrant act of worship.

Please know we’re joining you now.

Jesus, thank You for the leaders who give themselves to study, preaching, and loving Your flock. Refresh their intimacy with You, and when they grow weary, speak peace and fresh vision. For every family member the writer names, draw them gently by Your Spirit, and open their hearts to receive the Word. Protect them, and bring them into the fellowship You build. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.
Matthew 6:33: But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

A soul so laden with the burden of the Lord’s work and the cries of the perishing has been stirred by the very Spirit of supplication. You have asked for revival, for power from on high, for the drawing of families into the blessed assembly, and this is evidence that God is already at work, for it is His own prerogative to write intercession upon the heart. The intense desire that the lost be saved, that the meetings be anointed, that the Word be received not as the word of man but as the revelation of the Messiah by the Father, this is no carnal wish. It is the echo of the groanings which cannot be uttered, the Divine intercession within the saint.

Yet with this cry must come a solemn search. When a people seek revival, they must commence with themselves. The Church needs reviving in the persons of its members; we are not what we once were. It is now fashionable to be religious, and ease has crept in where once there was holy violence. Beware lest we content ourselves with the machinery of services, even biblically ordered ones, while the Power is absent. The wild-fire of excitement and the smooth routine of formality are equally offensive to God if His presence is not the center. True revival begins with humility, a laying low at Christ’s feet, confessing that we are poor, naked, and blind without Him. Do we truly possess that solemn earnestness which paineth over souls, or have we lost the awful weight of the coming judgment? The absence of sound doctrine, of clear teaching on sin and substitution, is a proof of our need. Let none imagine that growth in numbers is the same as growth in grace; the seven fat years can be devoured if the converts are not rooted in the truth of Christ crucified.

You have pleaded the promises: that God willeth not the death of any, that Christ seeketh and saveth the lost, that faith cometh by hearing. To this I would say, pray on, for every true revival has been born from the womb of persistent prayer. But take care that your faith does not rest on resolutions, nor on the zeal of your intercession, but solely on the divine salvation. The only deliverance worthy of the name is that which is God’s in the planning, God’s in the provision, and God’s in the application. Since Christ has died, and risen, and now sitteth at the right hand of God to make intercession for us, what judgment have we to fear? Not the sinner’s ungodliness, nor the hardness of a family member’s heart, can stand against that triumphant plea. “Christ died for the ungodly.” Therefore, let the poor convinced sinner who fears he is too black be pointed to the free gift. Tell him, though his faith tremble like a grain of mustard seed, it will save him, for it is the Object of faith, not the strength of it, that justifies.

For those family members and visitors you long to see gathered with the assembly, make the Word plain to them. All men are approachable at some time; visit them, speak the truth in love, and warn them. But then leave the whole matter of their eternal salvation with God in unquestioning confidence. You cannot regenerate a soul; flesh and blood cannot reveal Christ. The Holy Spirit must convict and open the mind to understand the Scriptures. Since the Spirit maketh intercession for the saints, see to it that you are not merely pleading for the conversion of others while your own heart is cold. A church that lies at the foot of the cross, that is holy, humble, and united in earnest prayer, shall surely see the heavens opened. The promise of the harvest is sure: the plowman shall overtake the reaper. Great sinners are not a whit behind the church; let this hope sustain your labors. Rejoice in God’s salvation, not a salvation of human effort, but the Lord’s own arm made bare. If He hears your cry, you have what you have asked. Be not discouraged by slow appearances; go down to Bethlehem and anoint the promised David, and wait on the Lord until He makes Jerusalem a praise in the earth.

Your prayer for the Church and for your household is fitting, for we ought always to entreat God for the salvation of all. Yet take heed that while you seek these blessings you do not neglect the foundation of your own repentance. For many are eager to pray for others, but slow to amend their own lives. The Apostle says, “Work out your own salvation with fear and trembling.” Let no one think that merely attending the assembly, or hearing the Word, or being born into a Christian family will profit them, if they do not embrace the faith with a sincere heart and bring forth fruits of repentance. For the Lord said, “Not everyone that says to Me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven.” Therefore, as you intercede for your family to be drawn by the Father, be first yourself an example of godly sorrow and earnest devotion. Let your own life be a living Gospel, so that they may see your good works and glorify God.

Moreover, do not postpone your own full consecration, if any among you are yet Catechumens. Why delay the washing of regeneration? Why defer the partaking of the Holy Mysteries? Nothing is better than a good life, whether here or there. The treasure of wrath is stored up for those who procrastinate, thinking they have time. There remains no other sacrifice for sins after illumination; therefore fear lest you be found unready. As you long for your family to receive the Word in humility, so let your own soul be first ploughed by the teaching of the Spirit. Attend to the reading of Scripture, as the blessed Paul commanded Timothy. Let not a day pass without the divine oracles, for they are the medicine of the soul.

And when you pray for the Spirit’s anointing upon the worship, remember that the Spirit is grieved by our sins. Purify your heart, that the Comforter may dwell richly in you. Hunger truly for the Word, not as those who merely hear but do not, but as doers of the work. Let your faith be living, working through love, not a dead trust in lip-service. For if we ask according to His will, He hears us; and His will is our sanctification.

Desire indeed the gathering of the saints, but let your fellowship be not only in the church building but in daily edification, exhorting one another lest any be hardened by the deceitfulness of sin. And when you pray for protection from the evil one, arm yourself with fasting, prayer, and the breastplate of righteousness. For the devil flees from those who watch and are sober.

Finally, cast all your hope upon the one sacrifice of Christ, which alone can cleanse the conscience. There is no second cross, no other offering for sin. Therefore, do not presume upon God’s mercy while you continue in any known sin. Let us all, with tears and sincere repentance, draw near with a true heart in full assurance of faith, having our hearts sprinkled from an evil conscience. Then shall our prayers be effectual, not only for ourselves but for all whom we love.

I see the ache and the hope woven through your prayer, the longing for the Spirit’s freshness in worship, for shepherds who lead from their knees, and especially for family members to be drawn by the Father into living faith. That is not a small thing to lay before the throne. It is the very heart of what the Lord Jesus came to do.

What grounds all of this is not an emotional surge or a clever program, but the rock-solid truth of Scripture. Our faith must rest there. The moment we shift our confidence onto methods or personalities, we begin to drift from the simplicity of the gospel. I have learned, sometimes painfully, that building my life on the Word, letting it correct and shape me, is far more stable than chasing even the most powerful spiritual experience. The Word is the fact on which genuine faith stands. So your desire to see leaders study, teach soundly, and walk in holiness is not optional; it is exactly where the Spirit moves.

Your request for family to hear and receive the message with revelation reminds me of what James insists: true faith is never a bare statement. It works. It changes a person. The kind of faith that saves is the kind that produces a transformed life. That is not a denial of grace; it is the proof of grace. So when you pray, “Grant faith, repentance, salvation, knowledge of forgiveness,” you are asking for nothing less than the full work of the gospel, a work that begins in the heart, but then walks out in deeds, in priorities, in a hunger for fellowship. John the Baptist told people to bring forth fruit that demonstrates repentance. That is what we long to see in those we love: not a one-time decision that later fades, but an ongoing life that loves the Lord’s people and His Word.

And do not underestimate the power of your active faith in this. There is a difference between saying, “I believe God can do it,” and reaching out to touch the hem of His garment because you know He will. Prayer that merely hopes without expectancy often stays passive. But the prayer of faith, the kind that rests on promises and refuses to let go, is the one that sees the sick raised and the lost restored. The early church did not see thousands added because they held a launch event and then settled into routine. They continued daily in teaching, fellowship, breaking bread, and prayer. The power of God was not a first-century deposit that was then withdrawn; the lack we sometimes feel is never His fault. He still gives the Spirit without measure to those who ask, who wait, who refuse to substitute religious activity for the living presence of Jesus.

That is why I am so encouraged that you are interceding for your household to come and hear. Faith comes by hearing the Word of Christ. You are asking the Father to draw them, and He delights to do it. Our own testimony can be a point of contact that activates faith in others, a friend’s words, a tract, a home visit, or simply a life that reflects genuine love. But the turning of a soul is ultimately a work of the Spirit through the truth. So keep bringing them before the Lord, asking Him to open their minds to understand the Scriptures. He who will not cast out any who come to Him is faithful.

There is a danger, though, that we must guard against. The world is very good at seeping into the church under the name of relevance. When we conform the assembly to the world’s comfort, we may attract a crowd, but we often lose the power of the cross. The model from Acts is not a user-friendly gathering that aims to be unchurchly; it is a family of believers devoted to the apostles’ teaching, living in holy awe, and depending on the Spirit. That is the kind of church that sees priests obey the faith and sick healed in the streets. It is a church that knows its history may be shameful when it strays, but it always returns to the simple, potent gospel of Christ crucified for sinners.

So I stand with you in what you are praying. Pray for leaders to be men and women of the Word and prayer. Pray for worship that is in Spirit and truth, not just polished performance. Pray that the homes you visit and the testimonies you share will be used by God to turn wanderers from error and cover a multitude of sins. And do not grow weary. The Father wishes that none should perish, but that all should reach repentance. Your prayers are after His own will, and He hears you.

Keep the faith. Let it be active, not passive. And trust that the One who began a good work will carry it to completion until the day He comes.
