When we ask You hear and if You hear, we have, 1 Jn5:14-14, so SEEK and SAVE the LOST, Lk 19:10, in Jesus' Name, Amen, 2 Cor 1:20.

We lift up our hearts together before the throne of grace, acknowledging the vital role of church leaders, pastors, teachers, worship leaders, and preachers, as shepherds of God’s flock. The weight of their calling is great, for they are entrusted with the care of souls, the proclamation of truth, and the modeling of a life surrendered to Christ. We recognize that their devotion must begin in the secret place, where they seek the Lord in prayer, study His Word, and allow the Holy Spirit to shape their hearts before they stand before others.

Father, we pray for these leaders to be men and women of deep devotion, whose lives are marked by humility, holiness, and an unshakable dependence on You. May their personal walk with You be their first priority, for how can they lead others where they themselves have not gone? Strengthen them to rise early in prayer, to meditate on Your Word day and night, and to intercede fervently for the congregation You have placed under their care. Let their study of Scripture be not merely academic but transformative, as Your Spirit reveals Christ to them in fresh and life-giving ways. We ask that You guard their hearts from pride, burnout, or compromise, and fill them with Your wisdom, discernment, and anointing.

Lord, we cry out for revival in our churches, true revival that begins with repentance, humility, and a hunger for Your presence. May our worship be in Spirit and in truth, not merely in form or emotion, but in a genuine encounter with the living God. We rebuke every spirit of lukewarmness, apathy, or distraction that would keep Your people from seeking You with their whole hearts. Let the Holy Spirit move mightily in our gatherings, convicting of sin, drawing sinners to salvation, and empowering believers to walk in holiness.

We pray for the lost, especially those within our own families and communities. Father, You have promised that no one can come to Christ unless You draw them, and we trust in Your sovereign grace to open blind eyes and soften hardened hearts. We ask that You would use the testimonies of saved friends, the preaching of the Word, and the witness of Your people to bring many to repentance. Let us not grow weary in sharing the gospel, whether through personal conversations, tracts, or house visits. Give us boldness and compassion to turn those who wander from the truth, knowing that in doing so, we save souls from death and cover a multitude of sins.

We also lift up the families in our congregations, asking that You would draw them to church not out of obligation, but out of a genuine hunger for Your presence. May they not neglect the assembling of themselves together, but let them encourage one another all the more as they see the Day approaching. Bless the observance of the Lord’s Supper to be a sacred time of fellowship with Christ and one another, not rushed or routine, but filled with reverence and expectation.

Father, we confess that apart from Christ, we can do nothing. We need Your Holy Spirit to teach us, convict us, and reveal the deep things of God. Open our minds to understand the Scriptures, and grant us faith to pray and receive according to Your will. You desire that none should perish but that all should come to repentance, and we align our hearts with Yours in this mission. Let us be a people who seek and save the lost, just as our Lord Jesus came to do.

We pray all these things in the mighty name of Jesus, the Anointed One, who alone has the words of eternal life. May Your kingdom come and Your will be done in our churches, our families, and our communities, for Your glory alone. Amen.

We join you in praying for those who lead in worship, teaching, and shepherding. It’s easy for pastors and ministry team members to pour themselves out for others while their own time with the Lord gets squeezed thin, and that’s a quiet danger that touches not only the church but also their own households. When a leader is being renewed daily in prayer and the Word, something of that living connection spills over into their family life. It isn’t about performing spirituality; it’s about an authentic dependence that children and extended family members can sense and be drawn to.

One concrete thing you can do is reach out to a specific leader, maybe your own pastor or a worship leader, and simply let them know you are praying for their personal devotional life. Ask if there’s a practical way you can support that: freeing up an hour in their week, or gathering one or two others to pray regularly for their spiritual refreshment. For the family members you long to see in church, begin naming them one by one in your personal prayers, and then look for natural, low-pressure moments to invite them, perhaps to a fellowship meal, a holiday service, or even just coffee with another family from the congregation who can help them feel at home before they ever step inside.

We’re with you in asking the Father to stir hunger for His presence both in the pulpit and around the kitchen table. May He grant each leader a living encounter with Christ that overflows into their preaching, their worship leading, and the quiet witness they carry into their homes.

Father, thank You that You are near to all who call on You. Refresh every pastor, teacher, and worship leader in their own walk with You. Grant them unhurried time in Your presence, a fresh filling of Your Spirit, and the wisdom to live what they teach. Draw each family member named before You, soften hearts, remove every barrier, and bring across their path a friend or moment that awakens faith. Protect them from the evil one, and give them ears to hear Your voice. We ask this in Jesus’ name. Amen.

A petition that is itself saturated with the very breath of Scripture, craving the Spirit’s power, speaks of a heart already taught of God. To lay hold of such promises, that the Father draws to the Son, that faith comes by hearing the Word, is the beginning of revival in our own souls. Never cease to plead the covenant: that the Spirit would convict, that He would open minds to understand the Scriptures, for flesh and blood does not reveal Christ, but our Father in heaven.

The great secret of power in the church of God is the Holy Spirit. A church may multiply its machinery, polish its worship, and perfect its orthodoxy, yet if the Spirit is grieved, all is but the rattling of dry bones in a valley of death. The Spirit is grieved by unbelief, by unholiness, and by our gadding after trifles instead of receiving of Christ and showing Him to the people. When the Spirit is honored, when He is depended upon as the very oil of consecration and the fire of life, then the heaviest church floats out to sea and the most inactive begins to move. What can we do without Him? Nothing. What can we not do with Him? All things that glorify Christ.

You ask that the Spirit would anoint the preaching of the Word. Here lies the hinge of the matter. The Holy Spirit deals with the things of Christ, and of Christ alone. If a preacher would stand on Holy Spirit ground, he must preach Christ crucified, nothing else, nothing less, nothing more. The Spirit never goes beyond the written Word; any supposed revelation that detracts from the power of Christ as a complete Saviour is a lie. But when Christ is lifted up, the Spirit comes with irresistible power, taking of the things of Jesus and showing them to men. Pray, then, not for eloquent oratory, but for the demonstration of the Spirit, that the message may come not in word only, but in power, making the Word to be a hammer that breaks the rock in pieces.

The visitation of families, the gathering in of the lost, all this is the natural fruit of the Spirit’s presence. When the Spirit quickens a soul, convincing it of sin, He leads that soul to the one church, the company of men who have received the Spirit. Out of that living temple there is no salvation, for the Spirit unites us to Christ and to one another. Let none stay away from the assembly, for the Spirit works by means of the fellowship of saints. And as you go forth, speaking the Word in houses and in the streets, remember that no man can pray or speak a single word to purpose without the Holy Spirit. Cry to Him for help; He is willing to help you to pray, to tell you how to pray, and to make intercession in you with groanings that cannot be uttered. The promise is sure: he that asks, receives. The Father’s will is that none perish. Lay hold upon that will, wrestle with it, and give Him no rest until the lost are found and the captives are set free. The Spirit and the Bride say, Come. Amen.

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

You pour out many words and many scriptures, and I see your zeal for the salvation of your household. But beware lest you imagine that mere prayer or the desires of others can save them, as though their hope lies in your faith rather than in their own repentance before the lovingkindness of God. For he who expects to be saved through another’s piety has built on sand. Each must himself hunger for the Word, each must himself cry out with godly sorrow for sins, not the sorrow of the world that weeps yet clings to its lusts, but that mourning which works repentance unto salvation never to be regretted.

Esau wet his face with many tears, yet found no place for a change of mind, because his grief was not true turning from evil but merely the anguish of lost advantage. So then, teach your family and set before them the example of a blameless life. If a man does not know how to rule his own house with gravity, keeping children in subjection and displaying virtue shared by all, how shall he persuade others to be governed by Christ? Let your own attendance on the holy assembly rebuke those who blush to be seen in church scarce once a year.

And remember, the sacrifice of the Anointed One is one; there is no second cross for those who have tasted the heavenly gift and then wilfully trample it. Do not delay, then, as if repentance can be renewed by another washing. Urge them to come now, to hear with faith, to receive the implanted word with meekness, and to flee to the mercy of God while it is today. Pray without ceasing, yes, but also adorn the doctrine by your own conduct, so that the wandering may be won without a word when they see your chaste and reverent behavior.

For he who turns a sinner from the error of his way saves a soul from death and covers a multitude of sins.

What a joy to see such a thorough hunger for the Spirit’s work in the church and in your own household. That kind of wide ranging intercession, rooted in so many promises, reminds me that the Father does not grow weary of hearing us. He truly is ever present, and His desire that none should perish has not cooled.

The early pages of Acts show us what the church can be when it refuses to settle for mere routine. They were not driven by clever methods or organizational momentum; they were carried along by love, purity, and the manifest presence of the Lord. Believers gathered not out of grim duty but because they were genuinely devoted to the apostles’ teaching, to fellowship, to the breaking of bread, and to prayer. And the result? The word of God grew, and many were added. That pattern was never meant to be a one generation wonder. When the church loses its power, the fault is not in heaven. We need not blame God for the weakness we sometimes see; rather, we must humbly ask whether we have let our first love cool or allowed compromise to creep in.

You are right to pray that families would be drawn to hear the word together. I think of the Philippian jailer: when the gospel came in power, his whole household believed and was baptized. That same Lord still saves families when they receive the word in faith, by the revelation that only the Father can give. So keep asking Him to open their minds to understand the Scriptures, just as you have prayed. A living faith is not built on flesh and blood but on the Spirit’s inward conviction.

Your prayer for church leaders is also exactly on target. Those who teach and lead must be men and women of deep devotion, not novices rushed into prominence. When they remain blameless, faithful in their own homes, and committed to sound teaching, the entire body is strengthened. And yet, even the most gifted leader cannot manufacture genuine conversion. Only the Holy Spirit can convict of sin and unveil Jesus as the Anointed One. So we must lean hard into intercession, sometimes even with groanings that words cannot express, trusting that the Spirit Himself is praying through us in perfect alignment with the Father’s will.

One caution from the Lord’s own words to the church of Ephesus: He sees the works, the patient endurance, the refusal to tolerate evil, but if love is absent, He will not stay. Attendance at gatherings, as precious as it is, is not an end in itself. It is the overflow of a heart already meeting with Christ daily. When we eat that bread and take that cup, we are not merely performing a ritual; we are proclaiming His death until He comes, and that fellowship must be living, fresh, and unhurried.

So continue to pray boldly. Ask the Father to protect your loved ones from the evil one who delights in ignorance and famine of the word. Ask for that holy Spirit of revelation, that faith which comes by hearing, and that humility which receives the implanted word. What you are longing for is nothing less than what the Lord Jesus promised to build: a church against which the gates of hell cannot prevail. He is faithful, and every one of His promises finds its yes in Him.
