When we ask You hear and if You hear, we have, 1 Jn5:14-14, so SEEK and SAVE the LOST, Lk 19:10, in Jesus' Name, Amen, 2 Cor 1:20.

We lift up our hearts together in unity, seeking the Lord’s face for the spiritual vitality of church leaders, the salvation of the lost, and the deepening of worship and biblical teaching within the body of Christ. It is a sacred responsibility and a profound joy to intercede for pastors, preachers, and all who lead in the church, that their devotional lives may be rich and their preparation in the Word thorough. We pray that their study would not be mere academic exercise, but a living encounter with the Holy Spirit, who illuminates truth and empowers sound teaching.

Father, we thank You for the calling You have placed on those who shepherd Your flock. We ask that You strengthen them in prayer, that their communion with You would be constant and deep. May their lives reflect the holiness and humility of Christ, that they may lead not only with words, but with integrity and love. We pray for their families, that they would be drawn closer to You and to the church, not out of obligation, but out of a genuine hunger for Your presence. As John 6:44 declares, “No one can come to me unless the Father who sent me draws him.” Draw them, Lord, by Your Spirit, that they may hear Your voice and respond in faith.

We also lift up the lost within and outside the church, those who have not yet heard or understood the message of salvation. We pray that the Holy Spirit would convict hearts of sin, righteousness, and judgment, as Jesus promised in John 16:8. Open their minds to understand the Scriptures, that they may see Christ crucified for their sins and raised for their justification. May the testimonies of believers, the preaching of the Word, and the distribution of tracts be used by You to draw souls to repentance and faith. We remember Your heart for the lost, as expressed in 2 Peter 3:9: “The Lord is not slow concerning his promise, as some count slowness; but is patient with us, not wishing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance.”

We rebuke any spirit of complacency or worldliness that may hinder worship in Spirit and truth. True worship is not about emotionalism or ritual, but about a heart surrendered to You, as Jesus told the Samaritan woman in John 4:24: “God is spirit, and those who worship him must worship in spirit and truth.” We pray for a fresh anointing of the Holy Spirit upon every gathering, that Your presence would be tangible and Your Word would be received with faith. May the church be a place where the hungry are fed, the broken are healed, and the lost are saved.

We also address the concern for regular fellowship and participation in the Lord’s Supper. Hebrews 10:25 warns us not to forsake the assembling of ourselves together, as is the habit of some. We pray that families and individuals would prioritize gathering with the body of Christ, not out of legalism, but out of a desire to grow in grace and knowledge of the Lord. May the Lord’s Supper be a time of remembrance, proclamation, and unity, as we partake together in the body and blood of Christ.

Father, we ask that You grant a deep hunger for Your Word, as 1 Peter 2:2 describes: “As newborn babies, long for the pure milk of the Word, that you may grow thereby.” May Your people approach the Scriptures not as a textbook, but as the living and active Word of God, sharper than any two-edged sword. We pray for revelation knowledge, as Paul prayed in Ephesians 1:17: “That the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give to you a spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of him.”

We also lift up those in authority, both within the church and in the world. We pray that they would come to the knowledge of the truth and govern with wisdom and justice. May Your will be done on earth as it is in heaven, and may Your church be a light in the darkness, drawing all people to Yourself.

We close this prayer in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, the name above every name, the only name by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12). It is through His blood that we have access to the Father, and it is by His Spirit that we are empowered to live lives that honor You. We thank You for the promise of 1 John 5:14-15: “This is the boldness which we have toward him, that if we ask anything according to his will, he listens to us. And if we know that he listens to us, whatever we ask, we know that we have the petitions which we have asked of him.” We trust in Your faithfulness to answer these prayers according to Your perfect will. In Jesus’ name, we pray. Amen.

Thank you for sharing this heartfelt prayer request, it’s clear your love for your church leaders and your family runs deep, and we’re grateful to join you in lifting these burdens before God.

It strikes us that you’re not just asking for a quick fix, but for a real move of God’s Spirit: pastors who truly seek Him, family members who come to saving faith, and a church alive in worship. That kind of sustained intercession is a gift. One thing we’ve seen encourage leaders in their own devotional lives is knowing someone is praying specifically for their time with the Lord, not just their ministry output. A brief, private word to a pastor this week, something like “I’m praying for your time in the Word and prayer, that you’d be refreshed in Christ”, can strengthen weary shoulders more than you might expect. It reminds them they are not just functionaries, but people loved by God and their flock.

As for your unsaved family members, we’ve found it helpful to pair our praying with simple, pressure-free acts: inviting them to a service or a meal, or just telling them honestly, “I’m praying for you, and I’m here whenever you want to talk.” Your persistent prayer, like the widow before the judge, moves the heart of the Father who longs to draw them. Trust that He is at work even when you can’t see it. The very fact you’re carrying this burden may be God’s way of preparing you to be part of the answer.

Together, let’s pray:

Father, we bring these pastors and preachers to You. Guard their devotional lives, deepen their hunger for Your Word, and give them wisdom and resilience. By Your Spirit, draw every family member mentioned here to church, open their ears to hear the gospel, and grant them repentance and faith. Protect them from the evil one, and let the message of Christ crucified become living reality for them. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.
Matthew 6:33: But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

The hearing of faith is the divine channel by which the Holy Spirit enters the soul. You have entreated the Lord to draw your family to the hearing of the Word, and this is a prayer according to His will, for “faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.” Do not absent yourselves, nor suffer your loved ones to neglect the assembling of themselves together, for the Spirit works through the preaching of the Gospel. But it is not every hearing that brings salvation; only the pure Gospel of Jesus Christ and Him crucified quickens dead souls. Pray for your ministers, then, that they may preach nothing but Christ, for the Spirit bears witness to Him.

Let each one believe with the heart unto righteousness, and then with the mouth make confession unto salvation. The same precious truths we rest upon in secret must be publicly avowed. It is a blessed thing when one who has believed steals timidly forth and says, “I am the Lord’s.” Yet the first act is faith, simple, receptive faith, that takes Christ as He is offered. This faith is not of ourselves; it is the gift of God, and the Spirit’s own work. You have rightly owned that flesh and blood cannot reveal the Messiah, but our Father in heaven. Therefore, pray without ceasing for the Spirit to convict, convert, and open the minds of your household to understand the Scriptures. Without His anointing, all our effort is as the plowing of a rock.

Salvation is by grace alone through faith, and not by any fitness or feeling. Let none wait until they are better, but come now with all their sin and misery, looking only to Jesus. He is the end of the law for righteousness to every one that believeth. Even faith as small as a grain of mustard seed lays hold upon Him and receives all. Fear not, for little faith is real faith; it is born from above and belongs to the family of the saved. Our Lord can make your beloved ones forget the shame of their former days and fill them with joy. Only trust Him for your household, and believe that they shall be given you as a prey.

Take heed, then, how you hear! It is no light thing to sit under the Gospel. The very Word that saves will one day judge those who trifle with it. Let your prayer be that your family may hear with reverent, believing hearts, receiving the Word with meekness as the engrafted word which is able to save their souls. Go to the sanctuary as those who trade for eternal riches, not as careless gapers. Bring your dear ones as best you can, but above all bring them in the arms of intercession. God is not slack concerning His promise; He will gather in His redeemed. Only believe, and according to your faith it shall be done unto you.

You have poured out many words in prayer, and I see the fervent longing of your soul for the salvation of your household. That is a holy desire, for God wills not the death of a sinner but that all should turn and live. Yet consider well: salvation is not secured by mere attendance at the assembly, nor by the hearing of the ear unless it is received with a careful heart. Faith comes by hearing, yes, but many are careless hearers, who go away wondering at what was spoken yet bearing nothing home. That kind of hearing only increases condemnation. If they come, let them come to stand and hear the Bridegroom’s voice, the teaching that weds the Church to Christ, and let them hold fast that short word which carries both salvation and righteousness: confess with the mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in the heart that God raised Him from the dead. There is no need of a long circuit; faith holds all.

Pray then not simply that they cross the threshold, but that when they hear, they may truly listen with a mind opened to understand the Scriptures. For the Holy Spirit desires our salvation, and Christ counts it His glory. Yet remember that no one is saved by the faith of another, nor by carnal relationship to believers; each must rest on his own repentance and contrite humility. Draw them off from any vain refuge in family ties and teach them to flee to the mercy of God alone. Let your prayers be joined to a life that does not contradict the word, for negligence in little things and great, in hearing and doing, leaves us without hope of salvation if we add sin to sin. Do not weary in doing good, but also do not suppose that your urgency can replace their own response to the call. The Lord draws, and the Spirit convicts; we, like the Baptist, stand by and rejoice at the Bridegroom’s voice, knowing that our office is to direct souls to Him.

Only beware lest in your zeal you cross into praying against any, even unknowingly, for that adds a grievous enhancement to your requests. Let all be committed to the Father who called you to this salvation when you were not worthy, so that even your faith is not altogether your own but a gift. Nothing is of ourselves, but all is of God. So pray, and then stand still, trusting Him who is ever present help. He will accomplish what concerns you.

I hear the deep longing in your prayer. That cry for the lost to be drawn, for ears to be opened, for hearts to receive the Word with faith, it rises from the Spirit of God moving in you. He often works this way, planting a holy desire, then giving you the strength to bring these very requests before the throne.

His Word is not a passing relic of ancient culture. It stands forever settled in heaven, unchanging and unshakable. So when you lean on the promises of Scripture and ask for your household to hear the message of Christ crucified, you are building your hope on the firmest ground. Faith does indeed come by hearing, and hearing by the word of God. So keep praying that they are placed where the truth is preached clearly and that the Father, who alone reveals the Son, draws them with cords of love.

At the same time, remember that prayer and witness go hand in hand. The jailer was told, “Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and you shall be saved, and your house.” But the very next verse says they spoke the word of the Lord to him and to all who were in his house. They heard the gospel. It is not a magical formula that guarantees salvation for our loved ones without them ever hearing and responding, but it is a powerful encouragement to intercede while we faithfully speak the truth in love. So keep bringing them before the Lord, and as you have opportunity, let your own life and words testify to the grace you have received.

Pray for our shepherds to be men devoted to prayer and the ministry of the Word. A church that abandons sound teaching becomes weak and anemic, tossed about by every wind. But where the Word is rightly divided, the Spirit convicts, transforms, and draws people into true worship. I have seen someone sitting in a service, hearing the Scriptures explained, come under such conviction that they immediately changed the entire direction of their life. That is the power of the Word when the Holy Spirit opens the mind. Ask the Lord to grant that same awakening to those you love.

Do not lose heart when progress seems slow. The grace of God extends to the hardest cases. The apostle himself once breathed hatred and tried to destroy the faith, yet mercy found him. If God could save him, no one in your family is beyond the reach of that grace. His eternal purpose, hidden for ages but now revealed, is to save to the uttermost all who come to Him through Christ. So rest in His timing and His sovereign ability, even when you do not see immediate change.

While you pray for others, let the Word also be your own counselor. Let it search your own heart day by day. Profound emotional experiences are precious, but your life and faith must be grounded on something more solid than a feeling. The Scriptures are your unfailing guide, the lamp for your feet. There you will find wisdom for every situation, including how to walk in holiness and how to love your family without lowering God’s standard.

Finally, beware the temptation to turn even spiritual desire into a fleshly competition or a pursuit of vainglory. The church is not a contest of numbers or impressive programs. She is the bride of Christ, called to be faithful to her Bridegroom alone. Let the leaders be humble servants who wait on God for direction, not striving in their own strength. Pray that the Spirit would bring unity and holy love, so that when the lost walk in, they encounter the presence of Jesus and not just a well-run organization.

May the Spirit of revelation open eyes, and may you yet see a harvest of souls in your own household for the glory of God.
