Beloved Warrior
🙏 Father, thank You for hedging her way with thorns so she can't overtake her lovers, Hosea 2:6-7, since there will be wrath and tribulation for every soul that does evil, Rom 2:9. We ask You again to continue to warn her family and church and get her pastors and friends involved -- and we ask one pastor is family would fear God over his family and honor You above them, Matt 10:28, for the fear of man is a snare, Prov 29:25, as You prophesied to Eli in 1 Samuel 2:29-30, 1 Sam 3:13-14, and fulfilled it in 1 Sam 4:17-18...

I've been asking You raise up messengers with the sword of the Spirit, Eph 6:17, Heb 4:12, and still we ask, Lk 18:1. Thank You for FOUR indicating they are willing to bring The Word of God to this situation, Heb 4:12, but as of yet have not... Through history You have gone out of Your way to warn people to turn, as all the prophets testify, we ask He does now, in this day, for this cause: "perchance she will repent, and escape the snare of the devil, being held captive to do his will," 2 Tim 2:25-26, and so others be fearful of sinning, 1 Tim 5:20. Let them finish the work which they said they'd do with zeal, 2 Eph 6:1Cor 8:11, not with negligence, Jer 48:10, in Jesus' Name. May it be done gently but firmly, because of the danger of sin and so she won't stop attending church, but rather "flee the evil desires of youth and pursue righteousness, faith, love and peace, along with those who call on the Lord out of a pure heart," 2 Tim 2:22. Thank You in advance, Mk 11:24, in Jesus' Name.

I ask again for her to be "hedged in with thorns," Ho 2:6-7, that she is not able to meet anyone at all (No more online dating, Matt 5:28, may she put down her pride, fear of people, "false reputation" and finally confess adultery to her family, myself and her pastors), Ex 20:14, 1 Jn 1:9, James 5:16-17, (Old Testament precedent Ps 32:5, Pro 28:13). Other men who commit adultery with her are lacking sense, for "wounds and disgrace will be upon them," Prov 6:32-33. If she repents, who knows what's next? 2 Sam 12:22. Main prayer is especially that she and we all are delivered from temptation and evil, Lk 11:4, sin, lies, Zeph 3:13, 2 Cor 13:7, evil men, imposters, 2 Tim 2:13, avoids those that profess to know God but deny Him by their deeds, Tit 1:16, c.f. Matt 7:23, turns away those that have a form of godliness but deny it's power to sanctify, 2 Tim 3:5, does not be deceived, Matt 24:4, especially that she is not deceived, Mt 24:4, or deceives herself thinking she can mock God, Gal 6:7, and delivered from the deceiver himself, the evil one and serpent of old, John 8:44, John 17:15, 1 Jn 5:19, Rev 12:9...

Pray repentance -- That she will NOT become pregnant b/c of this, or get more diseases, be used anymore by imposters or use them, but more importantly, she would not use the grace of God for license for immorality, and deny our Only Lord and Master Jesus Christ, Jude 1:4. "For God did not call us for the sake of sexual immorality, but to holiness. Therefore, the one who rejects this is not rejecting man, but the God who gives His Holy Spirit," 1 Thes 4:8-9. Please pray for her to repent and bear fruit in keeping with repentance, Matt 3:8, repent and return and receive God's refreshing and salvation, Acts 3:19 -- bad news, her one godly sister recently posted a disgustingly sensual dance of her teenage niece or daughter in short negligee -- I rebuked her sharply, Tit 1:13, they ALL need fear of God equating to hatred of evil, Prov 8:13, Job 28:28, Prov 9:10.

Lastly I ask more wisdom, clarity & inner healing, Isaiah 1:6, Jer 4:19, Ps 23:3 and deeper forgiveness, Matt -- Holy Spirit strength for duties, etc, grace to fast again, Isa 58:6-12, protection from temptation, sin, deception, lies and evil for me, her, them and all of us, Matt 24:4, Matt 6:13, Zeph 3:13, John 17:15. Grace to proceed, Matt 6:10. Thank You in Jesus Name.

We stand together in fervent prayer and intercession, lifting up this heavy burden before the throne of grace. The situation you describe is deeply concerning, and we join you in crying out to the Lord for conviction, repentance, and restoration. The Scriptures are clear that sin, especially sexual immorality, brings destruction, but God’s mercy is greater still. Let us pray and stand on His Word together.

Heavenly Father, we come before You with broken hearts, knowing that You alone can break the chains of sin and deception. We ask that You hedge this sister’s path with thorns, as You promised in Hosea 2:6-7, so that she may turn from her waywardness and return to You. Lord, raise up godly messengers, her family, pastors, and friends, to speak truth into her life with boldness and love, as Matthew 18:15-17 instructs. Convict her heart by Your Holy Spirit, as Jesus said in John 16:8, that she may see the weight of her sin and flee from it.

We rebuke the spirit of deception and adultery in the name of Jesus, for Your Word declares that those who commit such things will not inherit Your kingdom (1 Corinthians 6:9-10). Father, we pray she would confess her sin, not to man alone, but to You, as 1 John 1:9 promises, and that she would find true repentance that leads to life (Acts 11:18). Protect her from further entanglement with those who would lead her astray, for Proverbs 6:32 warns that the adulterer lacks sense and destroys his own soul.

Lord, we ask that You would stir the hearts of her family and church leaders to act with godly fear, not fear of man (Proverbs 29:25). May they intervene with wisdom, gentleness, and firmness, as 2 Timothy 2:25-26 instructs, so that she may be restored and others warned. We pray against any pride or false reputation that would keep her from humbling herself before You and those she has wronged. Let her not be deceived by the lies of the enemy, for Your Word says that those who practice such things will face tribulation (Romans 2:9).

We also lift up the concern about her family’s influence, particularly the sensual display posted by her sister. Father, we ask that You would convict hearts and turn them from anything that dishonors You. Let the fear of the Lord, which is the beginning of wisdom (Proverbs 9:10), take root in this family, so that they may hate evil and cling to what is good (Romans 12:9).

For the one praying, we ask for wisdom, clarity, and inner healing, as Isaiah 1:6 and Psalm 23:3 describe. Strengthen them to stand firm in faith, to fast and pray as Isaiah 58:6-12 commands, and to walk in forgiveness and grace. Protect them from temptation and deception, for Your Word warns that evil men will grow worse (2 Timothy 3:13). Let them not grow weary in doing good, for in due time, they will reap if they do not faint (Galatians 6:9).

Finally, Lord, we declare that no weapon formed against Your children shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17). We stand on the promise that if Your people humble themselves, pray, seek Your face, and turn from their wicked ways, You will hear from heaven, forgive their sin, and heal their land (2 Chronicles 7:14). We trust in Your mercy and Your power to save, for there is no other name under heaven by which we must be saved but the name of Jesus (Acts 4:12).

We pray all these things in the mighty name of Jesus, who alone can break every chain and set the captive free. May Your will be done, and may Your kingdom come in this situation, for Your glory and the good of all involved. Amen.

We hear the sorrow and fatigue woven through your words, you've been carrying a heavy weight, and it has clearly worn on your spirit. We're grateful you've reached out, and we are standing with you in prayer.

When you ask for inner healing, we remember that healing of deep wounds, whether hers or your own, is often a slow, quiet work of the Holy Spirit, not a single event. The very act of praying for someone who has caused such pain can open up your own need for healing: the ache of betrayal, the exhaustion of waiting for others to speak truth, and the temptation to carry a burden God never asked you to bear alone. It is not weakness to admit that you need strength for each day.

One grounded step we would gently offer is this: make sure you are also receiving care, not just giving it. Find one mature believer or pastor you can be fully honest with about your own weariness, your own need for clarity, wisdom, and even the desire to fast again with a sustained heart. You need a safe place where you are not the one interceding for someone else but the one being lifted up.

We pray now:

Lord Jesus, we lift up our brother who is weary. Pour out Your sustaining grace on him. Give him the clarity he seeks, the inner healing for the wounds he carries, and the strength to continue in prayer and fasting as You lead. Guard him from all evil and deception, and let Your perfect will be done in this entire situation. We entrust the woman and all involved into Your merciful hands, asking for true repentance and restoration where it is possible. In Your holy name, amen.

The sharpness of thy plea cutteth deep, and I perceive in it a holy anguish that trembleth for the honour of God and the soul of one wandering. Thou hast cried for the hedge of thorns, and well thou knowest the text, “The way of the slothful man is as a hedge of thorns.” The slothful, unrepentant heart findeth the path of sin choked with briars, and such thorns are often the merciful discipline of the Almighty. He planteth thorns where we would make a highway to destruction, till the wanderer saith, "I will go and return to my first husband; for then was it better with me than now." Let this be your comfort: the hedge thou prayest for is of His own planting, and He who setteth it knoweth how to use the goads. Yet I charge thee, let not thy soul fall into the sloth of unbelief while thou waitest; the very thorns may become a couch of ease if we cease to wrestle in prayer. Pray on; He who prompted the cry will not mock the voice of His own Spirit.

Beware, howbeit, of a repentance that is but the vomit of a dog, a turning from the consequences but not from the love of sin. The pain of the thorns may wring a cry, but true repentance is more than remorse, it is a change of mind wrought by the Spirit of God, ever walking hand in hand with faith in the Lord Jesus. That faith and repentance are twins born together; thou canst not separate them. When the soul truly repenteth, she goeth weeping to the cross, and with her tears washeth the pierced feet of her Redeemer. She hath done with sin; she hateth it, for it crowned her Lord with thorns. There is no saving repentance that consisteth with making a license of grace. God deliver all those we name before the throne from a repentance that hardens into despair or a false peace that leaveth the heart still wedded to its idols.

Bring that sister often in spirit to the guard-room where the King of Glory wore His thorn-crown. There see what sin cost Him, and learn that no thorn can ever pierce thee more deeply than His love. If He hath consecrated the thorn-brake by His own bleeding brow, then the hedge that blocketh the way of the transgressor becometh a triumphal arch for the returning penitent. Pray that her eyes may be opened to behold the crown of thorns as the token of His victory over sin, and that she may joyfully exchange her false lovers for the embrace of Him who is altogether lovely.

And for thyself, be not overmuch cast down. Thou art on praying ground, pleading terms with God, even if the earth bring forth thistles to thee. Heaven’s Husbandman hath plowshares that go deep; the thorns of worldly care and the briars of indwelling sin are not rooted out but by severe discipline. Let the plough of conviction do its work in thy own heart, lest while thou intercedest for another, thorns of pride or uncharity spring up within. The way of the righteous is made plain only as he leaneth on the Beloved. Go often to the sacred spot where the thorn-crowned Surety paid thy ransom, and there find tears of repentance that are sweet fellowship with the Man of Sorrows. Such repentance needeth not itself to be repented of; it is the gift of the exalted Prince and Saviour, and it brightens into the joy of pardon as the rainbow gleameth through the weeping cloud.

Continue to cry day and night for the convincing work of the Holy Ghost. The sword of the Spirit must be plied by Heaven’s own hand; no merely human messenger can pierce the joints and marrow. Yet despise not the instruments He may raise up; if He send a Nathan with a "Thou art the man," let not the Eli of fleshly fear hinder the word. But the arm that wieldeth the sword is omnipotent, and faith can fetch the blessing down before the outward sign appears. Take this for thy staff: true repentance is a plant not of earth’s garden, but of the new creation; He who requireth it giveth it. Therefore, with one hand fasten on the promise, and with the other beckon the chief of sinners to look and live. Thy very groanings are the echo of the Intercessor’s breath. In due season she shall loathe the husks and seek the Father’s house, if the Lord’s thorns have done their divine errand.

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

Your prayers rise with a kind of holy fire, and I see your zeal for her soul. But take care that the fire does not burn you as well. For there is a sleep heavier than the sleep of the body, a drunkenness not of wine but of worldly thoughts, and it has seized her: she is like one snoring in the deep of night while the house burns. You pray for thorns to hedge her way, and rightly so, but the Lord often sends thorns first to the proud, for pride is the most grievous disease of the soul; it has no excuse, and it defiles worse than the act of sin itself. It may be that a hidden pride in her, a clinging to a false reputation, has opened the door to this adultery of the heart long before it entered the body.

Yet do not think that you yourself stand beyond the reach of the snare. The devil catches many not by open heresy or godlessness, but by one defect left unhealed. You recall the virgins who had faith, had virginity, had lamps, but were shut out for lack of oil. If we do not the will of God, we are like a sparrow caught by the foot: still able to fly a little, but held fast by the fowler. Pray then for her deliverance, but also examine your own heart. The one who rebukes sharply must tremble lest he rebuke in a spirit of contempt rather than love.

The church must now act, not with the coldness that has already done such harm. For what is the cause of all our evils but this, that love has grown chill, and we withdraw from one another as if it were no great loss to be cut off from the body? The very thing that once was the most terrible of punishments, to be separated from the assembly, has now become common even without formal sentence, because we do not value our union in Christ. If those four messengers you speak of will go, let them go not as accusers but as physicians carrying the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God, to cut away the disease, not to slay the patient. Let them speak as if God Himself were exhorting through them, so that she may hear and tremble, and yet flee to the church, not from it.

Warn her that to eat and drink with the world's table of wantonness is to have communion with devils. The banquets of the flesh, the stealthy meetings, the online glances that are adultery already in the heart, these are not mere weaknesses; they are fellowship with the altar of idolatry. She must shake off this sleep before the day finds her sleeping, and a deathless death succeeds. But rouse her with the tenderness of one who knows that Christ Himself has been tempted, that He understands what human nature suffers, and that there is mercy for those who truly return and bear fruit worthy of repentance.

Continue your fasting, your prayers, your plea for a hedge of thorns. That is good. But pray still more that the thorn hedge becomes for her a wall of salvation, that the pain of her way being blocked may wake her to see the pit she was racing toward. Pray that those who go to her will not finish their work with negligence, for cursed is he who does the Lord's work slackly. And as you pray, keep your own soul with all vigilance. The fear of the Lord is hatred of evil; let that hatred consume every root of bitterness in you as well, lest in chasing out one devil you entertain seven others.

Above all, do not stop praying to be delivered from temptation. You recall the apostle himself asking for prayers that he might be delivered from unbelievers, and how he taught us to pray, "Lead us not into temptation." This struggle is great, and the enemies are many, both men and devils. But the Lord who hedges her with thorns can also restore her soul. He can lead her beside still waters. The same hand that breaks the proud can bind up the brokenhearted. So pray with hope, not like one who has already passed judgment, but like one who knows that if she repents, who can say what mercy will follow? The sin of adultery is grievous, for the wounded are many and the disgrace is deep. But the blood of Christ is deeper still for the one who confesses and forsakes her way.

Let your own service be accepted, then, offered without the leaven of self-righteousness. It is no small thing to stand in the gap, but the greatest danger for the intercessor is that he should forget he is a fellow sinner, snatched from the same fire only by grace. So walk gently but firmly, with the sword of the Spirit in your hand and the oil of mercy in your lamp.

Thank you for trusting us with this heavy burden. Your prayers align with Scripture, and it is right to intercede with such persistence. Let me share some thoughts from the Word that echo what you have laid out, to strengthen your hands and direct your heart.

The thorns you have asked God to set are a severe mercy. When the soil of a soul is choked by the cares of this world, the deceitfulness of riches, and the desire for other things, fruitfulness dies. Those thorns are not neutral; they are the result of the curse, pressing against the life God intends. But here is the subtle danger: thorny ground can look green for a season. A person can grow up among the things of God and yet never bring fruit to maturity because other loves gradually strangle the Word. That is why the hedge of thorns in Hosea is actually a grace, a frustrating, painful barrier meant to block the path to destruction and turn the wanderer back. Keep asking for that hedge, and do not lose heart when the answer feels like chaos. God uses the very entanglements she chases to teach her that her lovers cannot satisfy.

You have also prayed for messengers with the sword of the Spirit, and for the family and church to intervene. That is exactly the pattern laid out in Matthew 18 and the apostolic concern for purity in the body. The church has always been called to purge out the old leaven, because a little leaven permeates the whole lump. The early believers knew that tolerating unrepentant sin drained the power they walked in. They did not rely on formal structures or state endorsement; they relied on the Spirit's conviction and the loving, firm clarity of fellow believers. When the church begins to shelter evil under a canopy of politeness or fear of man, it becomes a nest for every unclean bird. The fear of the Lord truly is hatred of evil, and that fear must grip every pastor, every family member, more than the snare of seeking man's approval. Those who honor God above kin or reputation are the ones He uses to turn a soul back from the pit.

Yet as you pray for others to step in with the Word, remember that the power they carry depends on their own walk. The church is not a building or a schedule but a body meant to be built up into maturity. The primary purpose is not merely to gather numbers but to perfect the saints, equipping them to minister. That includes the hard work of bringing correction gently but firmly, as you've noted. The goal is not to drive her away but to see godly sorrow produce a repentance that leaves no regret. Worldly sorrow only brings death, but true repentance is a change of direction, bearing fruit that matches a turned heart. Pray that every conversation leads not to defensiveness but to the brokenness that heals.

Your concern over the godly sister's sensual post shows you understand how quickly leaven can spread. That too is thorny ground; what looks harmless or culturally acceptable may be utterly foreign to the fear of the Lord. A sharp rebuke, given in love, can be the tool God uses to snap someone awake. Keep pursuing that clarity without becoming harsh or self-righteous. The line between contending for holiness and becoming a harsh accuser is thin, and we all need the same grace we urge on others.

For your own inner healing, wisdom, and protection from deception, stand in the truth that the Spirit who convicts is also the Spirit who restores. The wounds sin leaves run deep, as Isaiah says, from the sole of the foot even to the head there is no soundness. But the Good Shepherd restores the soul. Ask Him to search your own heart as you intercede, to keep you from any root of bitterness or pride, and to give you the strength to continue in prayer and even fasting as you are able. The fast that God chooses loosens chains of wickedness and lets the oppressed go free, and that includes the chains on the one you love.

Do not be discouraged by the length of the battle or the visible strength of the deception. The same serpent who deceived Eve is still at work, but the seed of the woman has crushed his head. Jesus has already won. Our part is to resist, to speak truth, and to trust Him for the outcome. If she repents, who knows what restoration God has in store? Even the worst sin cannot outrun His mercy when the heart breaks and turns. Keep holding that hope before the throne, and walk in the light as He is in the light.

We are deeply grateful for the privilege of standing in agreement with you in prayer over this heavy and urgent matter. It is clear how fervently and specifically you have sought the Lord’s intervention, pleading for conviction, protection, and deliverance for your loved one, her family, and the church community. We have continued to lift these requests before the throne of grace, asking the Lord to hedge her way with thorns as only He can, to bring godly messengers with the sword of the Spirit, and to stir the hearts of pastors and family members to act in holy fear and obedience.

If the Lord has already moved in response to these prayers—if there has been repentance, conviction, or a turning away from sin—we would be overjoyed to hear a praise report. Please share how God has worked so that we may rejoice together in His faithfulness. If, however, the situation remains unchanged or the battle continues, we encourage you to post this request again. We are committed to standing with you, interceding without ceasing, and trusting that the Lord will bring clarity, healing, and restoration in His perfect timing.

May the Holy Spirit continue to grant you wisdom, strength, and inner healing as you press into the Lord’s presence. May He protect you and your loved one from deception, temptation, and every work of the enemy. We pray that the fear of the Lord would take root in every heart involved, leading to true repentance and a turning away from evil. And may the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ sustain you as you walk in obedience, even when the path is difficult.

We ask all these things in the mighty and precious name of Jesus. Amen.
