Beloved Warrior
🙏 Father, thank You for hedging her way with thorns so she can't overtake her lovers, Hosea 2:6-7, since there will be wrath and tribulation for every soul that does evil, Rom 2:9. I ask YOU warn her family and church and get her pastors and friends involved -- and we ask one pastor is family would fear God over his family and honor You above them, Matt 10:28, for the fear of man is a snare, Prov 29:25, as You prophesied to Eli in 1 Samuel 2:29-30, 1 Sam 3:13-14, and fulfilled it in 1 Sam 4:17-18...

I've been asking YOU raise up messengers with the sword of the Spirit and still we ask, Lk 18:1, and thank You for 4 indicating they are willing to bring The Word of God to this situation, Heb 4:12, but as of yet have not... Through history You have gone out of Your way to warn people to turn, as all the prophets testify, we ask He does now, in this day, for this cause: "perchance she will repent, and escape the snare of the devil, being held captive to do his will," 2 Tim 2:25-26, and so others be fearful of sinning, 1 Tim 5:20. Let them finish the work which they said they'd do with zeal, 2 Cor 8:11, not with negligence, Jer 48:10, in Jesus' Name. May it be done gently but firmly, because of the danger of sin and so she won't stop attending church, but rather "flee the evil desires of youth and pursue righteousness, faith, love and peace, along with those who call on the Lord out of a pure heart," 2 Tim 2:22. Thank You in advance, Mk 11:24, in Jesus' Name.

I ask again for her to be "hedged in with thorns," Ho 2:6-7, that she is not able to meet anyone at all (No more online dating, Matt 5:28, may she put down her pride, fear of people, "false reputation" and finally confess adultery to her family, myself and her pastors, Ex 20:14, 1 Jn 1:9, James 5:16-17, Old Testament precedent Ps 32:5, Prov 28:13. Other men who commit adultery with her are lacking sense, for "wounds and disgrace will be upon them," Prov 6:32-33. If she repents, who knows what's next? 2 Sam 12:22. Main prayer is especially that she and we all are delivered from temptation and evil, Lk 11:4, sin, lies, Zeph 3:13, 2 Cor 13:7, evil men, imposters, 2 Tim 2:13, avoids those that profess to know God but deny Him by their deeds, Tit 1:16, c.f. Matt 7:23, turns away those that have a form of godliness but deny it's power to sanctify, 2 Tim 3:5, does not be deceived, Matt 24:4, especially that she is not deceived thinking she can mock God, Gal 6:7, and delivered from the deceiver himself, the evil one and serpent of old, John 8:44, John 17:15, 1 Jn 5:19, Rev 12:9, ...

Pray repentance -- That she will NOT become pregnant b/c of this, or get more diseases, be used anymore by imposters or use them, but more importantly, she would not use the grace of God for license for immorality, and deny our Only Lord and Master Jesus Christ, Jude 1:4. Please pray for her to repent and bear fruit in keeping with repentance, Matt 3:8, repent and return and receive God's refreshing and salvation, Acts 3:19 -- bad news, her one godly sister recently posted a disgustingly sensual dance of her teenage niece or daughter in short negligee -- I rebuked her sharply, Tit 1:13, they ALL need fear of God equating to hatred of evil, Prov 8:13, Job 28:28, Prov 9:10.

Lastly I ask more wisdom, clarity & inner healing, Isaiah 1:6, Jer 4:19, Ps 23:3 -- Holy Spirit strength for duties, etc, grace to fast again, Isa 58:6-12, protection from temptation, sin, deception, lies and evil for me, her, them and all of us, Matt 24:4, Matt 6:13, Zeph 3:13, John 17:15. Grace to proceed, Matt 6:10. Thank You in Jesus Name.

We come before the Lord with heavy hearts, lifting up this situation with fervent prayer and intercession. Father, we stand in the gap for this sister in Christ, pleading for Your mercy, conviction, and deliverance. We recognize the seriousness of sin and the deception of the enemy, and we ask that You would hedge her way with thorns as You promised in Hosea 2:6-7, that she may turn from her ways and seek You with a repentant heart.

Lord, we pray that You would raise up godly messengers, her family, pastors, and friends, to intervene according to Matthew 18:16-17. May they speak the truth in love, wielding the sword of the Spirit (Hebrews 4:12) to convict and restore. We ask that fear of man would not hinder them, but that they would fear You above all (Matthew 10:28, Proverbs 29:25). Father, let Your Word be proclaimed with boldness and gentleness, that she may flee youthful lusts and pursue righteousness, faith, love, and peace (2 Timothy 2:22).

We rebuke the spirit of adultery and deception in Jesus’ name. The Bible is clear: "You shall not commit adultery" (Exodus 20:14), and those who persist in sin without repentance risk eternal consequences (1 Corinthians 6:9-10). We pray she would confess her sin, as James 5:16 commands, and turn from it completely. Lord, if there is hardness of heart, soften it. If there is pride, humble it. If there is deception, expose it. Let her not be deceived, God is not mocked; whatever a person sows, they will reap (Galatians 6:7).

We also lift up her family, particularly the sister who posted sensual content. Father, we pray for conviction and repentance in that household. The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom (Proverbs 9:10), and without it, people perish in their sin. We ask that You would grant them godly sorrow leading to repentance (2 Corinthians 7:10) and that they would hate evil as You do (Proverbs 8:13).

Lord, we pray for protection, physically, spiritually, and emotionally. Guard her from pregnancy outside of marriage, from disease, and from further entanglement with deceivers. May she not use Your grace as a license for immorality (Jude 1:4), but instead, may she bear fruit in keeping with repentance (Matthew 3:8). We ask for inner healing, as Isaiah 1:6 describes, and for Your rod and staff to comfort her (Psalm 23:4).

Finally, Father, we pray for wisdom and clarity for all involved. Strengthen us to stand firm against temptation, to fast and pray as Isaiah 58:6-12 commands, and to walk in the light of Your truth. Deliver us from evil men and deceivers (2 Timothy 3:5), and let us not be led astray by those who have a form of godliness but deny its power (2 Timothy 3:5). We ask all these things in the mighty name of Jesus, for there is no other name by which we can be saved (Acts 4:12).

May Your will be done, and may Your kingdom come in this situation. We trust in Your mercy and justice, and we wait on You, Lord. In Jesus’ name, we pray. Amen.

We hear the ache behind every line of your prayer, the groan of a heart that longs for someone you love to turn from destruction. Carrying this burden can feel isolating, and we want you to know we are standing with you in it, not just for her, but for you.

You mentioned a need for inner healing and wisdom. While you cry out for God to hedge her path and send faithful messengers, please don’t overlook the toll this is taking on your own soul. It is right to ask the Lord to minister to the tender places inside you, the disappointment, the weariness, the holy anger. You might consider setting aside a quiet hour not to intercede for her again, but simply to let Christ meet you in the hurt. A trusted pastor or mature believer could sit with you in that, not as a problem-solver, but as a companion.

You also asked for grace to fast again. When the time feels right, even a small step, perhaps skipping a meal and turning the hunger into prayer, can become a channel of strength, not a heavy duty. God honors the desire before the discipline is perfected.

We are grateful that four people have said they are willing to bring the Word to this situation. Keep lifting them up; the Spirit often stirs the right words at the right hour. And while you wait, know that your persistent prayer is not wasted. Even now, though you cannot see it, God is at work, loving her enough to block the paths that lead to sorrow, pursuing her heart in ways that may only become clear later.

Let’s pray:

Father, we lift this whole tangled situation into Your hands. You see every hidden act and every broken heart. We ask for the hedge of thorns You promise, whatever it takes to keep her from further harm. Give the messengers courage and clarity when they speak. In the meantime, sustain this one who prays: bring healing to the deep wounds, wisdom for each step, and strength to fast and pray as You lead. Guard all from the evil one, and bring genuine repentance and lasting freedom. We trust You to write a story of redemption. In Jesus’ name, amen.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.
Matthew 6:33: But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

The cry of your heart has ascended before the mercy seat, and it is a cry that sorely pleads for the intervention of God in a matter of great spiritual peril. You have asked the Lord to hedge with thorns the way of one who has strayed, and you do well, for the way of the slothful man is as a hedge of thorns, and that very obstruction may be the mercy that drives her to seek the plain path of the righteous. But mark this: thorns are not sent to destroy, but to deter. The Lord Jesus knew the sharpness of the thorn-crown, and by His sorrows He has turned the curse into a means of grace. Pray on, then, that these thorns may not merely lacerate but lead her to Him who wore them for sinners.

Yet let us not forget from whence all outward transgression flows. Evil thoughts and vile affections are the nest of sin within the heart. As our Lord taught, out of the heart proceed adulteries and all uncleanness. The corruption is inward, and until the Holy Spirit comes with His convincing power, no outward hedge will produce true repentance. He alone can reprove of sin, and apart from His divine advocacy, the natural conscience slumbers or makes excuses. It is the Spirit’s work to bring a soul to cry, “I am unclean! I am undone!” Therefore, continue to plead the promise of John 16:8, that He would convince her of sin, for without this conviction she will but rage against the thorns rather than turn to the Savior.

You have asked for messengers to go with the sword of the Spirit, and you do well to lament their delay. The church of God must not be negligent in such an hour, for we are called to restore the erring with meekness, lest we also be tempted. Yet be not hasty to cast aside those who hesitate; sometimes the Lord permits delays that we may learn to trust not in man but in God alone. Stir them up in love, but also remember that the most solemn admonitions are powerless unless the Spirit attends the word. The letter killeth; the Spirit giveth life. Pray therefore that those who speak may do so with tears, and that the word may be as a fire and as a hammer that breaketh the rock in pieces.

As for the sister who has grieved you by her unseemly conduct, you have rebuked her sharply, and that may be needful, for faithfulness often wounds before it heals. But beware lest bitterness take root in your own spirit. The best of men, when pressed beyond measure, are tempted to harshness or to fleeing from the post of duty. Cast that burden upon the Lord, for He careth for you. He who sustained Elijah beneath the juniper tree will uphold you. Let not the provocations of others drive you into the wilderness of despair, but rather into the inner chamber of prayer, where strength is renewed.

Remember, too, that the church of Christ is a lily among thorns in this evil world. She is surrounded by that which would choke her, yet she blooms by the grace of her Lord. The very presence of godly men and women in the midst of crookedness is a sweet savor unto God. You have desired her repentance, and that is right; but see to it that your own soul is kept in the hearing of faith. The hearing of faith is that which brings the Holy Spirit, and by the Spirit we are saved from the love of sin and the terror of sin. Cling, then, to the gospel of free grace, not as a license for uncleanness, God forbid!, but as the only power that can make a sinner holy. Preach to your own heart the finished work of Christ, and then out of that peace you will speak with a tenderness that may yet win the wanderer.

Let your fastings and prayers be mingled with the sweet confidence that the Lord reigneth. He knoweth the way of the righteous, and He will make even the wrath of man to praise Him. Go forward in the strength of the Lord, neither fainting nor fretting, and expect that He who hath begun a good work will not suffer His cause to fail. The crown of thorns is now a diadem of glory, for Christ hath overcome. In Him is our hope for the vilest offender.
