Beloved
🙌 PTL, I have been trying to warn her family and church to get her pastor involved -- one is family too and suffers greatly from fear of man, Matt 10:28, which is a snare, Prov 29:25, and compromise as well, Gal 5:9, and also blocked me over a year ago, he's frequently given license to sin even condoning it, as The Lord prophesies to Eli in 1 Samuel 2:29-30, 1 Sam 3:13-14, and fulfilling it in 1 Sam 4:17-18... 🙌

I've been asking God raises up messengers with the sword of the Spirit, and thank You for 3 indicating they are willing to bring The Word of God to this situation, Heb 4:12, as He has through history we ask He does now, in this day, for this cause: Perchance she will repent, and 2 Tim 2:25, and so others be fearful of sinning, 1 Tim 5:20. Let them finish the work which they said they'd do with zeal, 2 Cor 8:11, not with negligence, Jer 48:10, in Jesus' Name. May it be done gently but firmly, because of the danger of sin and so she won't stop attending church, Thank You in advance, Mk 11:24.

I'm asking for prayers for her to be "hedged in with thorns," Ho 2:6-7, that she is not able to meet anyone at all (No more online dating, Matt 5:28, and finally confessed adultery Ex 20:14, until finalization, and who knows what's next? 2 Sam 12:22), especially that she is delivered from temptation, Lk 11:4, sin, lies, Zeph 3:13, evil, evil men, imposters & the evil one himself...

Pray repentance -- That she will NOT become pregnant b/c of this, or get more diseases or filmed in the act anymore by imposters but more important, she would not use the grace of God for license for immorality, and deny our Only Lord and Master Jesus Christ, Jude 1:4. Please pray for her to repent and bear fruit in keeping with repentance, Matt 3:8, repent and return and receive God's refreshing and salvation, Acts 3:19 -- bad news, her one godly sister recently posted a disgustingly sensual dance of her teenage niece or daughter in short negligee -- I rebuked her sharply, Tit 1:13, they ALL need fear of God equating to hatred of evil, Prov 8:13, Job 28:28, Prov 9:10.

Lastly I ask more wisdom, clarity & inner healing, Isaiah 1:6, Jer 4:19, Ps 23:3 -- Holy Spirit strength for duties, etc, grace to fast again, Isa 58:6-12, protection from temptation, sin, deception, lies and evil for me, her, them and all of us, Matt 24:4, Matt 6:13, Zeph 3:13, John 17:15. Grace to proceed, Matt 6:10. Thank You in Jesus Name.

We hear the deep burden of your heart and the urgency of this situation, and we join you in bringing it before the throne of grace with fervent prayer. The Lord sees the pain, the sin, and the spiritual danger at hand, and He calls His people to act in love, truth, and boldness. You are right to invoke Matthew 18:16-17, for this is a matter that requires the intervention of the church, especially when sin is being condoned or even celebrated. The Lord does not take lightly the compromise of leaders who give "license to sin," as you’ve noted from 1 Samuel 2:29-30 and 3:13-14. The blood of Eli’s house was required because he honored his sons above God, and the same warning stands today. We must not shrink back from confronting sin, even when it is uncomfortable or unpopular, for "faithful are the wounds of a friend" (Proverbs 27:6).

We rebuke the spirit of fear of man that has silenced some in this situation. Proverbs 29:25 warns that "the fear of man brings a snare," and Galatians 5:9 declares, "A little leaven leavens the whole lump." When leaders or family members compromise out of fear or people-pleasing, they enable sin to fester and spread. This is not love, it is cowardice, and it grieves the Holy Spirit. We pray that those who have been silent would find the courage to speak, not in self-righteousness, but in godly sorrow and conviction. May the Lord raise up messengers with the sword of the Spirit (Hebrews 4:12), who will proclaim truth without apology, that repentance may come and others may be warned (1 Timothy 5:20).

The situation you describe regarding adultery is grievous, and we must address it with both truth and compassion. Adultery is a violation of the covenant of marriage (Exodus 20:14) and a sin that defiles not only the individuals involved but the entire body of Christ (1 Corinthians 6:18). The fact that this has been confessed, and yet seemingly unchecked, is a sign of deep spiritual decay. We pray that the hedge of thorns the Lord promises in Hosea 2:6-7 would indeed surround her, cutting off every avenue of temptation, whether through online dating, ungodly relationships, or the deceitful allure of sin. May she be shut in with the Lord, unable to find satisfaction in anything but Him, until she returns to her first love (Revelation 2:4-5).

We also rebuke the spirit of licentiousness that would twist the grace of God into an excuse for immorality. Jude 1:4 warns of those who "turn the grace of our God into indecency and deny our only Master, God, and Lord, Jesus Christ." This is a sobering reality, and we must pray that she would not fall into this deception. Repentance is not merely feeling sorry, it is a turning away from sin and bearing fruit in keeping with that repentance (Matthew 3:8). We pray that the Lord would grant her godly sorrow that leads to life (2 Corinthians 7:10), not the sorrow of the world that leads to death.

The mention of sensuality in her family, particularly the posting of a young girl in a provocative manner, is deeply troubling. This is not harmless; it is a stumbling block that can lead to lust, exploitation, and the normalization of immodesty. We rebuke this in the name of Jesus and pray that the fear of the Lord would fall upon that household. Proverbs 8:13 declares, "The fear of Yahweh is to hate evil," and Job 28:28 says, "Behold, the fear of the Lord, that is wisdom." May they come to understand that true love does not expose others to temptation but protects and honors them (1 Thessalonians 4:3-5).

For you, dear brother or sister, we pray for wisdom, clarity, and inner healing. The Lord sees your weariness and the weight of this burden, and He invites you to cast it upon Him (1 Peter 5:7). Isaiah 1:6 speaks of wounds that need binding, and Psalm 23:3 promises that He restores the soul. We ask the Holy Spirit to strengthen you for the duties ahead, to grant you grace to fast and pray (Isaiah 58:6-12), and to protect you from temptation, deception, and the schemes of the evil one (Matthew 6:13). You are not alone in this fight. The Lord is your Shepherd, and He will lead you in paths of righteousness for His name’s sake (Psalm 23:1-3).

Let us pray together now:

Heavenly Father, we come before You with heavy hearts, grieving over the sin that has taken root in this situation and the lives it has touched. We thank You for the boldness of Your servant who has brought this to light, and we ask that You would raise up more voices to speak truth in love. Lord, we invoke the authority of Your Word and the name of Jesus over this matter. We declare that no weapon formed against Your people shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17), and we bind every spirit of deception, fear, and licentiousness that has gained a foothold here.

Father, we pray for the woman caught in adultery. Hedge her in with thorns, Lord, as You promised in Hosea 2:6-7. Cut off every ungodly relationship, every avenue of temptation, and every lie that tells her she cannot change. Bring her to the end of herself, that she may turn to You in repentance. Let her see the destruction of her ways and the mercy that is available in Christ. May she bear fruit in keeping with repentance (Matthew 3:8) and walk in the freedom of Your forgiveness.

We pray for the family and the church leaders involved. Break the spirit of fear of man that has silenced them, and replace it with a holy fear of You. Convict them of their responsibility to confront sin, not out of judgment, but out of love for the souls at stake. May they act with the zeal of the Lord (2 Corinthians 8:11) and not with negligence (Jeremiah 48:10). Let Your Word go forth with power, piercing hearts and bringing conviction (Hebrews 4:12).

Lord, we rebuke the normalization of sensuality and immodesty in this family. Let the fear of You fall upon them, that they would hate evil and cling to what is good (Romans 12:9). Protect the young ones from exploitation and teach them to walk in purity.

For our brother or sister who has carried this burden, we ask for Your healing touch. Restore their soul, Lord, and grant them wisdom and clarity for the days ahead. Strengthen them to fast, pray, and stand firm in the truth. Protect them from discouragement, deception, and the attacks of the enemy.

We pray all of this in the mighty name of Jesus, the name above every name, the only name by which we can be saved (Acts 4:12). May Your will be done on earth as it is in heaven (Matthew 6:10). We trust You to bring redemption, repentance, and restoration to this situation, for Your glory and the good of Your people. Amen.

We hear the weight you are carrying, and we stand with you in the ache of watching someone you love walk into destruction. It is deeply painful when those who should help remain passive, and we are grateful that a few messengers have indicated they are willing to step into the fray with God’s truth. We join you in praying they follow through with both gentleness and firmness, not shrinking back.

As you continue to pray and wait, please let us also focus on a quieter part of your request: your own inner healing and renewed clarity. Carrying this kind of burden can wear down the soul, and even righteous zeal can become exhausting. Jesus does not only desire her repentance; He also cares about the deep places in you that feel raw or overwhelmed. Bringing those places to Him in prayer, perhaps with a trusted mature believer or through times of quiet reflection, is not a distraction from the battle, it is fuel for it. The request you made for inner healing is real, and He is gentle with our wounds.

Your desire to fast again is precious. We pray you receive fresh grace to return to that practice, not as a way to force God’s hand but as a humble drawing near. Start small, lean on the Spirit, and let it be a time of simple trust rather than striving. He sees your heart, and He will meet you there.

Lord Jesus, we lift up this whole tangled situation. Hedge in the one who is wandering; cut off the paths that lead away from You, and open her eyes to true repentance and restoration. Strengthen the three who have said they will speak, give them courage, love, and holy timing. For our brother, wash peace over his spirit. Heal the inner places that ache from this long fight, grant clarity of thought, and sustain him in whatever rhythms of prayer and fasting You set before him. Keep all involved safe from the evil one’s schemes. We hand this into Your hands, trusting You to finish what You have started. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.
Matthew 6:33: But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

How my heart joins with yours in this burden, praying that the Lord would indeed hedge up her way with thorns. You have asked for that hedge from Hosea, and it is a mercy when God makes the path of disobedience hard and bitter, for the way of the slothful man, and of the wilful sinner, is indeed as a hedge of thorns. Pray on, that she find no rest in her strayings, that every forbidden meeting be blocked, and that the false sweetness of sin turn to gravel in her mouth. Our God is able to deliver from the power of darkness; only He can break the fascination of evil and make the soul loathe what it once loved. Your plea for church intervention according to Matthew 18 is scriptural and wise; may the Lord raise up those messengers with the sword of the Spirit, and may they go forth with gentle firmness, lest she be driven from hearing altogether.

Yet remember, true deliverance from the dominion of sin is not by human resolve or mere rebuke, but by the almighty work of God. As you pray for her repentance, plead that it be no superficial washing, but a deep hatred of sin as sin, a turning with purpose of heart. Beware of that repentance which only mourns consequences and not the offence against a holy God. When the Lord chastens her sorely, even through shame or sickness, it is the Father's hand, not willing that any should perish. Your own soul, too, needs the restoring work of the Good Shepherd; you cry for inner healing, and that is a right cry, for from head to foot we are full of wounds and bruises until He binds us up. The Lord who delivers from the pit of despair will yet strengthen you; He who has begun a good work will carry it on. You ask for grace to fast and pray, take it freely from His hand, for He gives more grace.

Above all, fix your eyes on the cross. There the crown of thorns was pressed onto our Lord’s brow, and by that sacred suffering sin’s cruel reign is broken for all who trust in Him. It is by Christ alone, and not by our efforts, that we are freed from guilt and power alike. For yourself, and for her, and for all entangled in this snare, look wholly to the ransom found by God, the precious blood of Jesus. He is able to keep you from falling and to make the way of the righteous plain at last. Let your soul rest in that, and then go forward to declare His works, for you shall not die but live, and proclaim what the Lord has done.

The terror of sin is no small matter, and you do well to tremble for her soul. But remember that you too stand only by mercy, so guard your own heart with fear. The earth that drinks in the rain of God’s word and yet yields thorns is near to cursing, and we are that earth when we hear correction but harden our neck. Do not faint because God delays a visible answer. He often permits the storm to grow more fierce so that we cling to Him alone and learn to bear all things manfully. The hedge of thorns you pray for is itself a mercy: it is the way of escape He promises in every temptation, not to spare us all trouble, but to block the path that leads to destruction. So pray boldly that her way be shut in, that the fair promises of sin become walls of bitter disappointment, and that in her distress she may come to herself and flee back to the Father.

Yet be not too swift to count the negligence of others as the whole cause. When men fear man rather than God, they indeed fall into a snare, and those who honor sin above the Lord bring blood upon their own heads. Still, the Lord will raise up messengers with the sword of the Spirit when it pleases Him, and He often does so through the faithful remnant who refuse to be silent. You have rebuked sharply, as love demands. Now see that your zeal is seasoned with tears, lest you become a castaway in your own soul while seeking to save another. For the same wrath of God is revealed against all unrighteousness, small and great alike, and he who thinks he stands must take heed lest he fall.

Let the elders of the church be reminded that the flock was purchased with the very blood of Christ. That blood cries out against every caretaker who winks at adultery and calls it liberty. If they will not act, then you must continue your own watch, praying without ceasing, fasting as you are able, and trusting that the faithful God will not suffer her to be tempted above what she can endure. The thorny care of this world and the deceitfulness of riches choke the word, but prayer clears the ground. So wrestle on, but cast your own burden on the Lord for inner healing, for a man wounded within can scarcely bind up another’s wounds. Endure the delay as a school of patience, and know that He who began this dread work of conviction will complete it, either to her repentance and refreshing, or to her terror if she persists. Only see to it that you remain in God, serving Him with trembling, and He will use even your weakness to accomplish His purpose.

The weight of what you are carrying is evident. When you see someone walking a path that leads to destruction, and others bound by fear of man, the soul can grow weary from the burden. Yet in all of this, the crying need for everyone involved is not merely for a change in circumstances but for true wisdom. Knowledge of facts is not enough. You have seen the truth and spoken it, but wisdom is the principal thing. It is better than rubies, and nothing the heart may desire can be compared to it.

You have pointed to the fear of man as a snare, and you are right. But the beginning of wisdom is the fear of the Lord, which is to hate evil. Where the fear of man shuts the mouth and compromises the truth, the fear of the Lord opens the heart to see rightly. You ask for God to raise up messengers with the sword of the Spirit, and that is a good prayer. But pray also that those messengers and you yourself are governed by the wisdom that is from above. There is a wisdom of this world that looks right but leads to envy, strife, and a fleshly reaction. God has made that wisdom foolish. True wisdom, hidden in Christ, is first pure, then peaceable. It does not lie against the truth.

Your long burden for her hedging, for her repentance, is a cry for her life. But remember that the wisdom that gives life is a defense far exceeding any earthly defense. You are asking for her to be hedged with thorns so that her wayward path becomes bitter and fruitless, and that is powerfully aligned with the heart of God who chastens those He loves. The hope is that her earthly wisdom, which is sensual and comes to nothing, will be exposed as a failure so she might finally cry out. But the work of conviction that you rightly pray for belongs to the Spirit. Your own wisdom in handling this is fallible, and that is not a rebuke but a mercy to acknowledge, because God gives wisdom liberally to all who ask Him. He will not upbraid you for not already knowing how to proceed in such a tangled mess.

When you lack wisdom, ask for it. That is where clarity and inner healing begin. Temptation is the testing of faith, and these trials for all of you, for her, for the family, for you, are designed to drive you not into a striving confusion but into a firm reliance on the One who is made unto you wisdom. Do not let your necessary rebukes become a striving in your own strength. The temptation is to turn aside and try to force immediate results, to think that by human effort you can manufacture conviction. But true wisdom gives the patience to wait on God’s timing for the fruit, trusting that the same Lord who by wisdom founded the earth is able to establish the steps of this situation. Rest your faith not in the outcome you can see, but in the power of God, and proceed with the gentle firmness that comes from that quiet confidence.
