⛪️ Church, Family Intervene Mt 18:16-17, Convict Jn 16:8, Hedge w/Thorns Ho 2:6, Clarity, Avoids Evil Men 2 Tim 3:5, Inner Healing Isa 1:6 Ps 23:1-6, Stops Sinning, Knowledge of God, 1 Cor 8:1, Prov 9:10, Prov 8:13... 🙏 Father, thank You for grace to pray for her signaling to me You are not finished working on her, Phil 1:6. Thank You in advance for hedging her way with thorns so she can't overtake her lovers, Hosea 2:6-7, let her come to her senses as the prodigal who in Luke 15:17-19 admitting sinning against GOD and man, being humble and willing to take on a place of a servant, demonstrating repentance unto life, 2 Cor 7:9-11, knowing I'd be like the Prodigal's Father, and have compassion, Luke 15:20, to demonstrate Your perfect patience, 1 Tim 1:15-16, if she is truly repentant and is truly born again, being forbidden to be unequally yoked, 2 Cor 6:14, as the law says, Deut 22:10, and even need a similar vision, Amos 3:3, as she had promised to support your calling as an evangelist, missionary, but ran from all advice, did the opposite and ran from all counsellors with any type of backbone, nevertheless if You make her holy, I will not call her unclean, Acts 10:15 is important and inspired, as all of Scripture, 2 Tim 3:16, being Peter's testimony to first call Gentiles, Acts 15:7...

Nevertheless, such patience we regard as kindness intended to lead us to repentance from sin, Rom 2:4, since You are not willing that any should perish, but rather all would come to repentance, 2 Peter 3:9, since there will be wrath and tribulation for every soul that does evil, Rom 2:9. I ask YOU warn her, her family, church, church friends, relatives, even strangers and donkeys if need be, 2 Peter 2:16, and kindly get her pastors and other pastors and friends involved -- and we ask one pastor is family would fear God over his family and honor You above them, Matt 10:28, even put fear of God and the trembling at Your words into them, Isaiah 66:2-3, for the fear of man is a snare, Prov 29:25, as You prophesied to Eli in 1 Samuel 2:29-30, 1 Sam 3:13-14, and fulfilled it in 1 Sam 4:17-18...

We've been asking YOU raise up messengers with the sword of the Spirit and still we ask, Lk 18:1, and thank You for five indicating they are willing to bring The Word of God to this situation, Heb 4:12, but as of yet have not to our knowledge, however we know You are working, thank You for what You're doing, and certain it's to bring about a hope and a future, Jer 29:11... Through history You have gone out of Your way to warn people to turn, as all the prophets testify, we ask He does now, in this day, for this cause: "perchance she will repent, and escape the snare of the devil, being held captive to do his will," 2 Tim 2:25-26, and "so others be fearful of sinning," 1 Tim 5:20. Let them finish the work which they said they'd do with love, reverence for You and Covenant, and zeal, 2 Cor 8:11, not with negligence, Jer 48:10, in Jesus' Name. May it be done gently but firmly, because of the danger of sin and so she won't stop attending church, but rather "flee the evil desires of youth and pursue righteousness, faith, love and peace, along with those who call on the Lord out of a pure heart," 2 Tim 2:22. Also let it be done with gentleness, keeping an eye on ourselves, lest we be tempted, Gal 6:1. Thank You in advance, Mk 11:24, in Jesus' Name.

I ask again for her to be "hedged in with thorns," Ho 2:6-7, that she is not able to meet anyone at all (No more online dating, Matt 5:28, and grace for her to finally confess adultery, Ex 20:14, [as yet it has only been hinted at without confession], and may God grant ever-increasing clarity, more certain wisdom, James 1:5, that we may be filled with the knowledge of His will with all spiritual wisdom and understanding so we may walk worthy of The Lord, Col 1:9-10, so we may stand perfectly assured in all the will of God, Col 4:12. May our Love abound more and more with all knowledge and discernment so we may choose the most excellent paths, not stumble, be offended or cause offense to others, be blameless without reproach unto the Day of Christ, being filled with the fruits of righteousness, to the glory and praise of God, Phil 1:9-11, and who knows what's next? 2 Sam 12:22), especially that she, I, the youngster and we all are delivered from temptation, Lk 11:4, sin, 1 Cor 15:34, lies, Zeph 3:13, evil, evil men, imposters, 2 Tim 2:5, 2 Tim 2:13 & the evil one himself, Matt 6:13, John 17:15...

We carry this burden with you before the Lord and we thank Him for the grace He has given you to continue to intercede for her, for we are confident of this very thing, that he who began a good work in you will perfect it until the day of Jesus Christ, Phil 1:6. We see your heart is for her restoration, not merely for your own desire, and that you are asking according to the will of God for her to be convicted, hedged in, healed, and brought to true repentance.

We must speak plainly about the sin that has been hinted at, for to pray effectively we must call sin what God calls sin. You have mentioned online dating and lovers and the need to confess adultery. The Scripture is clear, You shall not commit adultery, Ex 20:14, and but I tell you that everyone who gazes at a woman to lust after her has committed adultery with her already in his heart, Matt 5:28. Whether it is physical adultery or the lust and emotional unfaithfulness pursued through online dating, it is sexual immorality outside of the covenant of marriage and God will judge the sexually immoral and adulterers, but Let marriage be held in honor among all, and let the bed be undefiled, Heb 13:4. Marriage is God's design as a lifelong commitment between one man and one woman, and any courtship should be with the goal of a godly marriage to a fellow believer, not casual dating or seeking partners. For that reason we also affirm what you have prayed concerning being unequally yoked, Do not be unequally yoked with unbelievers, for what fellowship has righteousness with iniquity? Or what fellowship has light with darkness, 2 Cor 6:14, and Can two walk together, except they have agreed, Amos 3:3. If she is to be a wife who supports a calling as an evangelist and missionary, she must share that same faith and vision in Christ.

We agree with you for the biblical intervention of her church and family. Our Lord gave the pattern, But if he does not listen, take one or two more with you, that at the mouth of two or three witnesses every word may be established. If he refuses to listen to them, tell it to the assembly, Matt 18:16-17. This is not to shame but to rescue, and we pray her pastors and family will fear God rather than man, for The fear of man proves to be a snare, but whoever puts his trust in Yahweh is kept safe, Prov 29:25, and The fear of Yahweh is the beginning of wisdom. The knowledge of the Holy One is understanding, Prov 9:10. We pray they will speak with gentleness yet with firmness, Brothers, even if a man is caught in some fault, you who are spiritual must restore such a one in a spirit of gentleness, looking to yourself so that you also are not tempted, Gal 6:1, and holding a form of godliness, but having denied its power. Turn away from these, also, 2 Tim 3:5. We pray she will be delivered from evil men and impostors and from the evil one himself, and that those who have said they will bring the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God, will not do the work of the Lord negligently, Jer 48:10, but will finish the work with love and zeal.

We join you in praying for the hedging with thorns, Therefore, behold, I will hedge up your way with thorns, and I will build a wall against her, that she cannot find her paths, Hos 2:6. We ask that every path toward sin would be blocked, that online doors would be closed, that she would not be able to overtake her lovers, and that coming to the end of herself she would come to her senses as the prodigal did, I will get up and go to my father, and will tell him, Father, I have sinned against heaven, and in your sight, Luke 15:18. We pray for that godly sorrow which we know works repentance to salvation which brings no regret, 2 Cor 7:10, a repentance that is humble and willing to take the place of a servant and demonstrate new life, and we pray for inner healing for the wounds that drive this sin, for From the sole of the foot even to the head there is no soundness in it: wounds, welts, and open sores, Isa 1:6, and we ask the Shepherd to restore her soul, Yahweh is my shepherd: I shall lack nothing. He makes me lie down in green pastures. He leads me beside still waters. He restores my soul, Ps 23:1-3.

We also pray for clarity and the true knowledge of God, for Knowledge puffs up, but love builds up, 1 Cor 8:1, and The fear of Yahweh is the beginning of wisdom, Prov 9:10, and To fear Yahweh is to hate evil, Prov 8:13. We ask that she and you and all involved may be filled with the knowledge of his will in all spiritual wisdom and understanding, to walk worthily of the Lord, to please him in all respects, Col 1:9-10, and that your love may abound yet more and more in knowledge and all discernment, Phil 1:9.

We thank you that you have prayed in the name of Jesus, for it is only by that name we have access to the Father. Jesus said, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me, John 14:6, and There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved, Acts 4:12. If she has not truly been born again, we pray she will confess with her mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in her heart that God raised Him from the dead and be saved, Rom 10:9.

We pray together now, Father in heaven, we come before Your throne in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, claiming His blood and righteousness. We ask that You send Your Holy Spirit to convict her of sin, of righteousness, and of judgment, John 16:8. Hedge her way with thorns so she cannot find her lovers nor any online enticement, Hos 2:6-7, and frustrate every plan of the enemy to keep her captive, that she may escape the snare of the devil, having been taken captive to do his will, 2 Tim 2:26. Grant her godly sorrow that leads to repentance, 2 Cor 7:9-11, and bring her to say from the heart I have sinned against heaven and before You. Raise up her family, her church, pastors and godly friends to go to her gently and firmly, to speak Your word which is living and active and sharper than any two-edged sword, Heb 4:12, and let them not draw back out of fear of man but out of fear of You. Heal her inner wounds, restore her soul as You lead beside still waters, Ps 23:1-6, deliver her from temptation and from the evil one, Matt 6:13, keep her from evil men who have a form of godliness but deny its power, 2 Tim 3:5, and cause her to flee the evil desires of youth and pursue righteousness, faith, love and peace with those who call on the Lord out of a pure heart, 2 Tim 2:22. Grant to this brother who prays ever increasing wisdom, that he may ask and receive wisdom liberally as You promise to give to all who ask without reproach, James 1:5, and let his love abound with knowledge and discernment, Phil 1:9-11, that he may walk worthily and not be tempted himself. We ask for Your perfect patience to lead her to repentance, Rom 2:4, for You are not willing that any should perish but that all should come to repentance, 2 Pet 3:9. If it is Your will to restore a marriage that honors You, make it holy and equally yoked and of one vision, but if not, give him grace to wait for a godly wife who will honor You. We trust You for a hope and a future, Jer 29:11, and we thank You in advance that You hear us when we ask according to Your will, Mark 11:24. Do this work gently but firmly, for Your glory, that others also may fear sinning, 1 Tim 5:20, in Jesus name we pray, amen.

We hear the weight you are carrying in this, and how long you have been praying and waiting for her to turn around. Loving someone while seeing choices that grieve you and worry you for your family is exhausting, and we appreciate your honesty about wanting God to work in a way that is both firm and gentle.

One thing that has helped others in a similar place is remembering that real turning is more than feeling sorry in a moment, it is a change of mind that slowly shows in a changed direction. That kind of change is rarely instant. It is often a gradual process with accountability and patience over time, even as we keep asking God to bring clarity, truth, and loving voices around her. Your steady, persistent prayer matters, and so does your own steadiness while you wait.

It may help to stay closely connected to one trusted pastor or counselor for your own support right now, someone who knows your story and can help you walk wisely, care well for the youngster you mentioned, and keep healthy boundaries as you continue to pray.

Father, we lift this woman to You and ask for Your mercy and protection over her, for healing where there is hurt, and for wisdom and clarity for all involved. Guard this brother and the child from temptation and harm, give them peace as they trust You with what they cannot control, and guide the family and church to act with love and truth. Lead each of them closer to You in the days ahead. In Jesus' name, amen.

Your prayer has come before the Lord with many tears and much wrestling, and it is right that you should continue in it, for men ought always to pray and not to faint.

There is much in your petition which is according to the mind of God. You ask that she may be hedged about with thorns, as it is written, I will hedge up thy way with thorns, Hosea 2:6, and that she may not overtake her lovers. You ask that the church and family may intervene according to Matthew 18:16-17, that the Holy Spirit would convict of sin according to John 16:8, and that she may be delivered from evil men from whom we are told to turn away, 2 Timothy 3:5. These are lawful prayers. Yet let us weigh them in the balances of true repentance, lest we mistake a carnal sorrow for that godly sorrow which worketh repentance to salvation not to be repented of.

Judgment may produce a carnal repentance, a repentance that is of the flesh and after the manner of the sinful nature of men. Such repentance does not give God glory. True repentance, the repentance which is the work of the Spirit of God and which God accepts, gives God glory. It makes a rainbow with her tears of grief for sin and her glances of hope at the love of Christ and His great finished work. Have we such a repentance in view for her, and for ourselves also.

You rightly desire that she should come to herself as the prodigal did in Luke 15:17, saying I have sinned against heaven and before thee. Remember that the eyes of mercy are quicker than the eyes of repentance. The father saw the son when he was yet a great way off, and ran and fell on his neck and kissed him. That much kissing means much forgiveness. Before the prodigal could finish the details of his confession, his father had forgiven him. So it is with our God, who is not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance, 2 Peter 3:9, and whose goodness is meant to lead us to repentance, Romans 2:4. The Lord does not merely drive men to repentance as Cain was driven, He draws them. The sweetest and best repentance comes not by driving but by drawing.

Therefore pray not only for a hedge of thorns, but for a new heart. A hedge may stop the feet for a season, but only grace can change the heart. We are to preach repentance in the name of Jesus, which means repentance as the gift of God. God then gave repentance unto life, Acts 11:18. If the Lord grants it, 2 Timothy 2:25, she will escape the snare of the devil, being taken captive by him at his will. That repentance will be practical, it will yield works meet for repentance, it will last, it will not be a temporary pang but a life long companion. Repentance lives as long as faith. Sweet sister Repentance is such charming company that we shall not part with her even at the gates of pearl.

You quote rightly that we must not be unequally yoked together with unbelievers, 2 Corinthians 6:14, and that two cannot walk together except they be agreed, Amos 3:3. To ask God to bless a yoking which His Word forbids would be to ask Him to deny Himself. We do not so. We ask that if He makes her holy, we will not call her unclean, Acts 10:15, for all Scripture is inspired and profitable, 2 Timothy 3:16. Yet holiness must be real. If such a one as Manasseh, who did evil in the sight of the Lord and filled Jerusalem with abominations, could become a remarkable convert when the iron entered into his soul in his affliction, and afterwards brought forth fruit by undoing what he had done, then surely no one need despair. But restitution must be made for wrongs done, or repentance is a sham. A mere hinting at sin without confession of adultery, Exodus 20:14, and without forsaking the secret lust of the heart, Matthew 5:28, is not that godly sorrow which needs not to be repented of, 2 Corinthians 7:9-11.

So continue to ask the Lord to raise up faithful messengers who will handle the sword of the Spirit, which is the Word of God, Hebrews 4:12, gently but firmly, lest negligence be found in them, Jeremiah 48:10. Let it be done with all gentleness, considering ourselves lest we also be tempted, Galatians 6:1, and with the aim that others also may fear, 1 Timothy 5:20, and that she may flee youthful lusts and follow righteousness, faith, charity, peace, with them that call on the Lord out of a pure heart, 2 Timothy 2:22. Pray that those who have promised to speak will finish the work in love and reverence for covenant and zeal, 2 Corinthians 8:11. Pray that pastors and family may fear God rather than man, for the fear of man bringeth a snare, Proverbs 29:25, and that they may tremble at His Word, Isaiah 66:2.

And for yourself, pray for that wisdom which James promises to give liberally, James 1:5, that you may be filled with the knowledge of His will in all wisdom and spiritual understanding, Colossians 1:9, and that your love may abound yet more and more in knowledge and in all judgment, Philippians 1:9, so that you may stand perfect and complete in all the will of God, Colossians 4:12. The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom, Proverbs 9:10, and to depart from evil is understanding, Proverbs 8:13. Knowledge puffeth up, but charity edifieth, 1 Corinthians 8:1.

We will pray with you now that the Lord, who has begun a good work, will perform it until the day of Jesus Christ, Philippians 1:6, that He will grant inner healing where the wounds are as from the sole of the foot even unto the head, Isaiah 1:6, that He will restore the soul as the Shepherd in Psalm 23, that He will deliver you all from temptation, Luke 11:4, from lies, Zephaniah 3:13, from evil men and from the evil one, Matthew 6:13, John 17:15, and that He will keep you blameless unto the day of Christ, being filled with the fruits of righteousness which are by Jesus Christ unto the glory and praise of God, Philippians 1:11. May the Lord grant repentance unto life, and with it remission of sins in the name of Jesus, Luke 24:47, for faith and repentance are inseparable, the one purging the soul from dead works and the other filling it with living works in Christ alone.
